The liked the apartment really much, especially the view!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful apartment. Every morning, waking up to the stunning views over Funchal and the ocean was a real treat. The apartment itself is stylishly designed and as someone who appreciates architecture and interior design, this apartement is a great choice.

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). Hello, José is a welcoming host. His accommodation is very clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were treated to sandwiches with cake, some eggs, fruits and vegetables as well as cold milk. It was nice to stay at this listing. 😊

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Great place in a central location. Tidy and clean. We felt very comfortable immediately. Great amenities, including a washing machine. Highly recommended! You can't go wrong with this accommodation! Organization very nice and friendly. If there were any questions, they responded immediately and therefore it cannot be! Therefore, five stars!

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. Great place to stay in Canical and explore Madeira with a car. Has nice kitchen with everything you need to cook, even with oven, microwave, toaster. Big fridge. Even has a washing machine. Great host, very friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

A lovely spot with great views of Funchal. The location was very close to a supermarket, good restaurants, and many bus stops. The host and his assistant were very helpful and responsive.

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

So the stay was relaxed from the first minute and you were warmly welcomed. We were even greeted at the parking lot! 🤩 After the briefing on the circumstances, there was always a contact person there. I highly recommend the accommodation, it's worth every penny.

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

Maria’s 8th-floor apartment was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the balcony had amazing views of the marina, Santa Catarina park, and the city. It has two bedrooms — one with a double bed, the other with two singles — both with private bathrooms and closets. There are three bathrooms total, all spotless. The kitchen had everything, plus a dishwasher and coffee machine. Laura, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful. She messaged me before arrival, arranged parking, explained everything in the apartment, and even brought us a big bottle of water and fresh coffee capsules the next day. She also gave great local tips. The building has great security and private parking. Honestly, the whole stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira — close to everything!

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

We stayed for a week with 4 in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .
