Our house is in a very quiet place. Here you live in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. We are very enthusiastic about permaculture and we apply some of its techniques in our day to day life. We enjoy a healthy, simple, sustainable and ecological lifestyle. We have solar panels. We dispose of garbage and make some organic compost. We provide the contact of people and places where you can buy toiletries and natural cosmetics if you want. The house has a flowery garden and a small vegetable garden that are treated without agro-toxic and according to some principles of permaculture. It is located near the city of Funchal, about 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bus. In an area that resembles the countryside because there are not many tall buildings in the surroundings and in a little quite street ... There is regular public transportation and a large shopping center very close. Guests will always be able to pick something from the garden as long as it is in abundance and leave a symbolic donation to help with their maintenance. Celery, oregano, parsley, basil, beets, cabbage leaves. All the studios have a private kitchen and bathroom and a small porch where you can relax and dine by candlelight.
