Sie liegen 5 min zu Fuß von der Wohnung entfernt. Man kann dort baden je nach Mondphase. Dann gibt es noch einen schwarzen Sandstrand, den man über einen Panoramaweg Richtung Funchal erreichen kann. Wenn man dort zu Fuß läuft sind es ca. 30 min. Man kann auch das Auto nehmen und läuft ca. 10 min dorthin. Übrigens kann man mit dem örtlichen Bus bequem alle umliegenden Orte und Funchal schnell und mühelos erreichen. Das öffentliche Straßennetz ist besonders durch die via rapide hervorragend ausgebaut
