Einmal über die Bahnhofsbrücke gehen und schon ist man in der Altstadt von Lucca, mit allen seinen Schönheiten, seinem Flair, aber auch mit seiner touristischen Ausprägung. Dann freut man sich auf die Ruhe und Zurückgezogenheit der Unterkunft. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die Parkmöglichkeit, wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Die Unterkunft ist charmant und für zwei Personen großzügig. Die hohen Decken und die Raumaufteilung sind wirklich so gut gemacht, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlen kann. Das Bett war bequem und ein kleines Arbeitszimmer ist auch vorhanden. Theoretisch kann man sogar draußen sitzen, aber das macht man dann doch lieber in Lucca auf einem der schönen Plätze. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war immer sehr angenehm und schnell. Dem Restaurant-Tipp aus dem Handbuch „Da Vasco“ kann man unbedingt vertrauen. Wir würden für unseren nächsten Besuch in Lucca hier sofort wieder buchen. Lucca ist immer eine Reise wert.

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Robin’s Nest. At first I was a little disappointed as the house wasn’t inside the walls of Lucca like I thought. However, Lucca is very bike-able and Laura had two bikes with locks that became our mode of transportation. There was a washer in the home also which we made use of being that we were half way through our trip! Overall, we would recommend this home and Location!

Clear and switable. Mark is a very hospitable guy. Beautiful surrounding nature. If you want to feel Italian soul and stile this is a prompt place.

Sehr saubere und bestens eingerichtete Unterkunft. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Etwas abgelegen dafür sehr ruhig aber dennoch mit Auto schnell in Lucca. Danke an Co-Host Ingrid für den professionellen und netten check-in/out. Gerne wieder einmal 😀

Das Haus von Serena haben wir für eine Nacht besucht und uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Das toskanische Ambiente hat den Urlaub zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt abgelegen auf einem Berg und lässt sich am besten mit dem Auto erreichen. Für ein paar ruhige Stunden abseits der Großstädte ideal. Der Garten ist ebenso schön wie das Haus selbst. Die Komminikaton mir Serena verlief sehr freundlich und respektvoll. Wir durften etwas länger bleiben als ursprünglich vorgesehen. Gerne hätten wir einen längeren Aufenthalt bei Serena gehabt.

Es war eine tolle schöne Erfahrung und wenn wir wieder nach Lucca reisen würden. Dann wüsste wir sofort wo wir was buchen.

A fantastic base for exploring Lucca! 2 minute walk from great bars and only a little further to the heart of the city. Really comfortable accommodation and Francesco was so helpful - offered to pick us up from the train station and had loads of great recommendations. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful apartment right in the centre of Lucca. Lucia was a wonderful host, and provided excellent recommendations for wineries and shopping! The kitchen has everything you need. We like to cook a couple of meals in and the kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots and pans etc. It was also fantastic that she had olive oil, salt and pepper and other spices. Super comfy bed and bedding. This has been our favourite Airbnb to stay in, we were so comfortable and felt right at home. Thank you Lucia for your fabulous hospitality!! We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I loved the apartment. Easy walk from the railway station. Easy to find. Very clean. All mod cons. Quiet at night. Good air con. Excellent Wi-Fi. Spotlessly clean throughout. No complaints at all. Entry is via a steep staircase only though, so be aware of that if you have heavy bags. We will certainly rebook if/when we return to Lucca. Thank you Federico 👍

Il soggiorno presso la casa di Stefano e Serena è stato fantastico, tutto era estremamente ordinato e pulito, non mancava nulla, dal detersivo allo shampoo per la doccia, addirittura abbondanti prodotti per una ricca colazione, caffè, acqua fresca e bevande, mai visto prima! Serena ci ha accolto all'arrivo con grande calore, ci ha dato ottime indicazioni e ci ha consentito di prolungare l'orario del check out, veramente un'accoglienza ottima. grazie mille, torneremo!!

Daniel‘s apartment was recently renovated and very centrally located to the old city of Luca it was an easy walk to parking and an easy entrance onto the wall to walk around the city of the highlight of our visit .

Ein wunderschönes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Airbnb in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Das Stadtzentrum ist zu Fuss super erreichbar. Mauro war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir durften sogar früher eingechecken. Vielen Dank!

Sabrina's place was easy to find and in a very good location within the walls. Sabrina had provided clear instructions for gaining access to the property. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my stay. There were some really thoughtful touches such as milk, water, fresh fruit, breakfast toast, jams, tea and coffee which helped me greatly considering I arrived in the evening and so it meant I did not have to dash out to a supermarket before it closed for the night. So helpful. I reached out to Sabrina a couple of times before I arrived as I needed some restaurant recommendations plus I had a query re the buses. Sabrina responded very quickly with answers. She also checked in on me during my stay to see that everything was ok. I could not fault anything and I highly recommend staying at Sabrina's apartment.

This is a gem in the heart of Lucca. The apartment is super comfortable and has excellent views of rooftops and towers. The location is excellent closed to all worthy sites in Lucca yet very quiet and peaceful. The building has a great elevator which is a big plus given the top floor location. Salvatore is a great host, very responsive, and accommodating. I would love to return to Salvatore’s place for a longer stay sometime in the future.

Wir haben uns in Gretas Wohnung rundum wohlgefühlt! Die Unterkunft ist charmant, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die geniale Lage: direkt hinter der Festung, mit einem Parkplatz quasi vor der Tür – ideal für alle, die mit dem Auto anreisen. Die Altstadt ist in wenigen Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um Lucca zu entdecken. Vielen Dank!!

Bellissima esperienza! La casa era arredata con buon gusto e pulita, fornitissima di guide e mappe turistiche di Lucca. Inoltre era attrezzata di tutto il necessaire per il soggiorno: stoviglie, padelle, attrezzi da cucina etc. La posizione era perfetta, a pochi passi dalla Basilica di San Frediano e da via Fillungo, principale via commerciale di Lucca. Ma ciò che ci ha entusiasmato è stata l’ospitalità dell’host. Pier Giordano è stato gentilissimo e disponibile; appassionato della sua città, ci ha consigliato luoghi di interesse anche poco conosciuti dai più e locali tipici in cui mangiare cucina lucchese e toscana. Grazie ancora! Speriamo di ritornare presto a Lucca!

We have stayed at this apartment before and loved it that’s why we returned. It’s central, has everything we needed. It’s a great base for the bus and train station. There is also a supermarket not far from the flat to buy essentials for a lovely picnic on the wall of Lucca. Mauro was kind enough to be flexible with our check in and check out time. Another lovely holiday here. We look forward to visiting again.

Margherita is an excellent host. Prior to our visit she was able to send me a list of recommendations for a large variety of restaurants and activities and she answered all my questions. She met us at the door and welcomed us into her home. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable for our family. Lucca itself was stunning.
