I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Curlew Cottage. Daniele was so welcoming and friendly that we soon felt at home in the warm and comfortable cottage with everything you need. It is wonderfully peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside for walks or relaxing with a good book. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would love to go back again. A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

Great place to explore Linlithgow and surrounding area. Lovely cafes and restaurants in the town centre. Michael was a great host, friendly and helpful. The property itself was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely large house in a beautiful setting, perfect for dog walks and with access to the coast. Huge garden with multiple lovely seating areas.

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

A group of 8 family and friends stayed here for a couple of nights for a concert at Murray Field,excellent location for both concert and socialising,shops close too,Audrey was so helpful with checking in and any questions we had,would definitely stay here again.

Murray's place was warm comfortable and a delight to stay in. It was well appointed and beautifuly clean. To be strongly recommended.

wee booked this on the day and david was very helpful emailing over local amenities (pubs, restaurants, shops etc) that can be located. Instructions for check in/out was easily followed. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Pictures do not do this justice. The smell from walking through the front door was amazing with the diffusers dotted around the lodge. Bedding was crisps and smelling lush. The whole inside decor and home to home feel was magical. Tv has Netflix and prime which was ideal to watch at night to relax after being in the hot tub. Hot tub was all ready for us arriving. What made this for us was the hot tub was undercover (it rained when we were here). Lovely outside patio furniture and it's beautifully lit up with lights all around the lodge and the surrounding areas. Aaron miniature products are in the bathroom to be used which smell divine. Alot of thought has been put into these lodges. I will definitely be back! thank you for everything :)

Jacqui was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so helpful and kind felt at home and so comfortable the place was spotless the hot-tubs were placed perfectly and got your own privacy with beautiful views. 10/10 will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Rowanbank Cabin, the cabin is beautiful and set in a very peaceful area surrounded by nature with a perfect view of the nearby scenery. Good access for some lovely hikes and a good base to venture towards the Cairngorms. Nicola was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. The cabin was homely and cosy and had everything we needed, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

The house was just as expected - beautiful peaceful location, well furnished, cozy feel. Local pub and shops within walking distance as well as several bus lines making it very convenient to get around. The Penland hills park was roughly a 20 min walk away through nice quiet neighborhoods which made for a nice day trip. Highly recommend!

Great value Airbnb. Very well equipped. Lovely to get breakfast products. Beds were comfy, Inc the sofa bed. The outside space was a bonus. Great walks. Straightforward bus service to explore further afield. Lots of local walks, pubs and food options. Rosie couldn’t do enough for us. A great weekend. Thank you Rosie.

Fantastic apartment - will absolutely be back. Our time in Edinburgh was short but with the central location of Fleur's apartment and her quick and concise communication helped us maximize our time in town. And do not miss out on the chance to stop by Fleur's coffee booth!

This is a great flat for visiting Edinburgh. The location is very convenient, with some nice cafes and bakeries at the start of Easter Road, and Leith Walk really close by. There is a bus stop very close to get into the city. The flat has loads of space, and was perfect for us for a few days. The hosts communicated really well, with loads of information about the flat. Thanks again!

Really lovely long weekend stay. We were so lucky with the weather beautiful sunshine and warm weather which meant we were able to sit in the garden lots. The place itself was really lovely decorated, had lovely facilities, in a quiet area, great fenced off garden for our dog. We did a number of walking trails in and around Haddington which is close by so that was great too! Perfect for what we wanted. My only comment was that we felt that the place was quite dusty and had a number of cobwebs, almost like it hadn’t been used for a while. I think a quick dust before would have helped and we would have rated 5*
