Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Scotland

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin - could have sat for hours (well we did) looking at the view. Loved the window seat. Showers fab, beds mega comfy, great location and the kitchen amenities were superb. Dog friendly too, which are spaniel loved. Highly recommend and we will defo be back.

very beautiful and tranquil area. booked my stay as a romantic weekend as was not disappointed. cabin was amazing and just as shown, the area and the estate all added to experience. the on site food truck was very good with locally sourced produce, the chef is definitely a master at his craft. staff were all very friendly and helpful on site and even made the whole planning and booking process a easy with quick responses to any queries I had. couldn't recommend woodlands any more highly

Beautifully located place, with just a 20 minute drive to some shops and restaurants. We would have loved to stay here a bit longer!

An absolutely amazing stay - everything felt special…the views were incredible, the whole place very clean, really comfy bed, and fantastic hot tub to relax in. The surroundings were simply perfect - lots of wildlife, and of course the woodlands and mountains in the distance. We loved the idea of doing our own drawings/sketches of the scenery looking out from the sofa, and then adding them to the sketch book! Plenty to do in the area and shops only approx 20 mins drive. Accommodation had everything we needed and more and the complimentary Prosecco and delicious chocolates was much appreciated! This is a great find right on the shores of the Loch with access through a garden gate. Beautiful views with everything needed to stay simply. Nearby cafes and restaurants. Alyson helped with regular communication and made sure we had a space for the campervan.

Robbie is a fantastic host. We travelled nearly 7hrs to get to the location and I asked him if it would be possible to check in early. He was so so flexible and couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to check in at 12 which really really helped us out. The lodge is in a great location if you enjoy walking or exploring. You have a beach nearby as well as loads of walks. We went for dinner in Dunoon at the 51st state which was very nice! I also left my jacket at Robbie’s lodge and he has been kind enough to return it to me. Lovely place to explore… thank you

The cabin was a perfect for a nice getaway. Lots of places to explore, a few within walking distance and plenty more a short drive away. It was even great for having a lazy day and staying in the cabin as there was plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax and even a couple of super friendly donkeys to say hi to!

Sharon's charming, wee cabin was such a delight! From the cozy interior complete with everything we might need to the outdoor patio nestled right next to a fast moving river, it was delightful. The first night we sat out on the patio with cocktails and snacks and took in the beauty of the area. Simply stunning! We had rented the cabin for three nights and on the second night my husband, Tom, had a heart event. Sharon quickly called for an ambulance and stayed with us until after the EMT's arrived to take us to a hospital 30 miles away. We were to check out the next day, but she offered for us to stay the next two nights if needed. Then when Tom and I decided to fly back to the states to have the needed heart procedures, she and her husband, Ian, spent an entire afternoon helping us to arrange taxis, air flights and other logistics. They both went far and above what would ever be expected of hosts. Our gratitude for their kindness and hospitality runs deep. Thanks Sharon and Ian!

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

We stayed in Westview for 4 nights. The house was really lovely and very comfortable. Lorna had thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of exploring the area. It was lovely watching the lambs in the farm. We spent every evening in the sun room watching the sun set over the hills and watching the visiting deer in the opposite field. The views from the house are stunning. We had a very relaxing stay and hope to be back.

We have stayed at Black Rocks several times and have never been dissapoined. Loren is lovely and very responsive. The village is very welcoming and we would highly recommend the Anchor Hotel for food and local atmosphere. A very special place, just perfect!

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Unlike anywhere we’ve been before with the RGB lights and black interior. It was very spacious and practical. Partner loved the walk in wardrobe! The bed and pillows were certainly comfortable, probably the most comfortable Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And the hot tub was bliss, very hot and jets were very powerful. Overall had everything you needed for a couple days stay and id definitely recommend!

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

We loved staying here and will definitely be back, thank you Liz! The house is spacious and comfortable with unusual clever touches, like hand-crafted handrails and door catches. So many fantastic walks to try, both directly from the house and in Glen Affric itself. Huge, beautiful trees everywhere. Inverness isn't too far away and a lovely city to explore.

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

A group of 8 family and friends stayed here for a couple of nights for a concert at Murray Field,excellent location for both concert and socialising,shops close too,Audrey was so helpful with checking in and any questions we had,would definitely stay here again.

Murray's place was warm comfortable and a delight to stay in. It was well appointed and beautifuly clean. To be strongly recommended.

This was another very pleasant, peaceful and beautiful stay of many, while working on a project in Aberdeenshire. I finally had the chance to swim in their private pool on the estate due to my work load, and it was a soothing relaxing evening. The bird song is a wonderful way to wake up in their cosy bed and warm cottage. Thank you again. Matilda and brown dog.
