We warmly welcome you to stay in Bluebell, at the Old Railway Station, in a beautiful part of Northumberland, nestled between the coast and the hills. We provide some 'goodies', including locally made biscuits, milk, tea & coffee, to assist self-catering, as well as fresh eggs from our happy hens! The highly acclaimed Running Fox cafe & The Plough Inn are just a 5 minute drive away, in Powburn, plus a well stocked shop. There are plenty other places to eat in Alnwick and the surrounding area.

It sits on its own in its own field & if you enjoy the countryside, quietness, big skies, starry moonlit nights, wildlife, you will love it here. Our cosy and modern (it has electricity and running water, fridge) shepherd’s hut has two rooms- perfect for couples or small families. A double bed in the main room, with wood burner, table and sofa. The back room houses a single sofa bed, perfect for a wee one. Outside there’s a hot tub, kitchen with gas hob and BBQ. The exclusive electric hot tub is covered with a custom made wooden shelter for ultimate privacy and shelter from the Scottish weather. The sole hut is located in a small private paddock at the back of our farm in the village of Banton. With WiFi, smart TV, fridge, induction hob, microwave with oven, electric shower and hot water you can enjoy glamping without sacrificing your daily must-haves.

The Humble Hut

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

Built from scratch by none other than the owners themselves, the dog-friendly Tweedenburn Shepherd's Hut is more than just a labour of love; it’s also a completely off-grid hut powered by solar panels and in an excellent spot for exploring the Scottish Borders. When you’re ready for a kip, there’s a comfortable double bed for two inside the hut. Complete with a woodburning stove. Firepit/ barbecue and gas hob provided in the outdoor kitchen. All utensils provided.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
