Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Forest of Dean District

Great place and great hosts. Sarah welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. We enjoyed the walks from the Coach House and seeing the lambs. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious.

Had a wonderful stay, the barn is amazing and was the perfect backdrop for our week away! Amazingly clean and comfortable and the beds were super comfy. Sonia and Adam were warm, friendly and welcoming 😊

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — Ellie was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, leaving us lovely cakes to enjoy on arrival. The cottage (and its surroundings) is full of charm and just as whimsical as the pictures suggest. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also enjoyed the easy drives into Ludlow, Leominster, Tenbury Wells and local walks. We can’t thank Ellie enough for creating such a beautiful, memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back one day!

A little piece of heaven. Just perfect for a few days of R&R. Although, the amount of walking we did there wasn’t much rest. The views from the balcony are something else, we somehow managed to lose 3 hrs sat there on our first afternoon. The location is perfect for getting on to the A40 and to further afield. We did not take advantage of the pool or saunas (which, now home feels like it was a wasted opportunity). The pool area is beautiful, and can see in the depths of summer being a real treat. From the booking Ruth was so helpful in giving us recommendations for where to visit and eat. Take the advice when it comes to The Angel Bakery in Abergavenny! It is out of this world. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the pavilion and hope to visit again.

Thanks, May - we had a wonderful stay at your peaceful place! Amazing to take my 90 year old mum away for a weekend - the downstairs ensuite was perfect for her and it was easy for her to get around the house and out to the garden. We enjoyed lots of snoozing in the sun in the beautiful garden, such a special place! Also, some lovely walks straight from the front door. The kitchen was very well stocked with a great oven. Thanks so much for the lovely treats left for us on arrival! Great cider, bread, butter, and coffee! We very much enjoyed them all!

not enough stars to leave an accurate rating, we need more stars as this place is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed, peaceful, private, quiet, it's an escape from reality and is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Emma and Ian were so friendly and helpful with everything and we luckily got to meet them just before we left which was lovely as really wanted to thank them for making such a wonderful space for others to enjoy! It was my partners 30th and although I never asked for any extras, they placed banners up, left 30 on the bed in rose petals, left the most gorgeous tasting cupcakes! just everything and all the little touches were so wonderful. The outside space was such a vibe, you can just get lost with time in the whole set up and the hot tub is just amazing, we were well and truly impressed with absolutely everything. We planned to go for dinner out but it was too wonderful to leave so we stayed in! 🤭❤️ amazing, amazing, amazing. Can't wait to book in again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Verity's place is as beautiful as the pictures. She kindly provided some lovely brekkie items on arrival. Walks right from the doorstep. In easy distance from Moreton-in-Marsh, only 10 mins drive, and located within easy reach of lots of other Cotswold locations to explore. The garden is absolutely stunning, which we thoroughly enjoyed soaking up the sun in. Imagine it would be just as nice to snuggle up by the log burner in the colder months too Verity provided lots of lovely foody suggestions, all of which were great too. Very sweet to leave Bertie a toy on arrival, we always appreciate a doggy friendly stay.

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

Peaceful location and clean, cosy accommodation. Ideal for our purpose which was researching properties in Chepstow. There is no kitchen so be prepared to travel to eat and the location is off the beaten track so use the what3words reference for accurate sat nav especially in the dark.

We had an amazing time! The views are incredible! Alison was so accommodating. She gave us excellent directions and suggested great places to go and eat! The accommodation is ever better than the pictures. And we really enjoyed the homemade bread and cake! And the breakfast was really tast with local eggsy! I also worked from here and the internet was fine for video calls all day. We will be returning soon as it was one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at. And Alisons hospitality and attenattention to detail was second to none!!!

`Great place to stay for exploring the surrounding countryside. The property was warm (it was a cold few days!) cosy and the owners were welcoming!

We had a lovely stay for our daughter’s 1st birthday. Gabriella’s apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, modern & very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely & very thoughtful leaving toys for our daughter to play with. Well located for getting to all main Cotswolds attractions, we will definitely book again.

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! It’s such a cosy place, kitchen had all we needed and came stocked with good coffee which is always good! Living room was comfortable and though WiFi is ‘rural wifi’ as described, it was plenty quick enough to watch Netflix in the evenings. Bed was very comfy and clean. Bathroom spotless and with a bath my partner describes as a dream, she really did not want to get out of it! 100% would recommend and would definitely stay again. Great location to discover the surrounding area!

Lovely place to stay as a couple who wants to disconnect and spend quality time together. Very peaceful surroundings. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had! If you think it would suit you just go for it!

Thank you Denise for such a beautiful stay. The cabin is very cosy and the perfect little getaway, waking up to the sound of the morning chorus sung by the birds and the morning dew hanging off the roof of the cabin it couldn’t have been more magical. Denise is highly responsive and responds to all messages very quickly and even left us some gifts which were most highly appreciated (especially the prosecco!) and the guest book is a lovely touch. Would happily stay again, thank you!🐦‍⬛🎶

This little oasis is the perfect place. Georgie and co make you feel so welcome, and you get the joy of meeting Pumpkin and Pepper the cat. The walks around are stunning, but with the views from the hammocks you struggle to get out for the walks at times. Beyond peaceful and with beautiful towns near by. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in the area.

Clive and Debra were very accommodating guests. Even though me and my partner arrived later in the day, Clive was very helpful and still showed us around. The location is lovely, tranquil and the view is just superb. I was looking for a quiet weekend getaway for us and Goshawk lodge did not disappoint. The furnishings are modern and unique and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials, more than can be said for many other places we have stayed. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the noise of life.

We loved our stay. First time in a long time that my wife and I have been able to fully relax. The cabin was very cosy and the outside deck was a lovely large space. The hot tub was definitely the best that we’ve used in all the air b&b’s we’ve stayed in. Our dog loved roaming around the woodlands. All in all a very lovely stay, would definitely stay again.

Amazing lodge, most perfect getaway so peaceful and relaxing and it felt right at home! One of the best places I've stayed and the hosts were so friendly!! Would definitely recommend, the hot tub with the birds singing were beautiful and the comfiest sofas and great kitchen for homemade meals!!

Marjorie's communication prior to our arrival was 1st class, with excellent directions provided for this rural location. Arrival times were extremely flexible, and we were met by Marjorie and Tom, both of whom were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is a small wooden cabin in our host's back garden, but separate from their house and felt beautifully isolated. Two single beds suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was basic, but twin hotplates, an airfryer, microwave, fridge and all the necessary cutlery and utensils allowed for easy cooking of a stir fry one evening. The shower-room & toilet were clean and functional, with handsoap and shower gel provided, as well as towels. The views were amazing, and the picnic table and a bench made the perfect place to sit with a cuppa and take in the many sights and sounds of nature that abounded. Overall, this was an extremely good value, comfortable and peaceful location with excellent hosts. Highly recommended indeed.

Beautiful, peaceful and calm place to spend a few days. Would highly recommend! The fire pit was a major highlight, as was the very comfortable bed and beautiful garden. The shower is very nice and the cottage has everything needed for a couple of days retreat. Jack was very helpful and responsive and very pleasant to deal with.
