An extremely pleasant stay! We enjoyed many cups of tea together, walked into town following a suggested route of theirs and sat in serenity in their beautiful back garden. Petra provides a homely stay in a peaceful location. I highly recommend it!

Olivia's place is ideal for exploring the historic market town of Frome with its rich heritage and culture. Olivia made us feel right at home from the outset and is an excellent host. Her Irish Terrier Ted is adorable and very friendly! Olivia's recommendations on places to eat and visit were spot on and we look forward to a return visit soon. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome from Mike upon arrival. Unfortunately didn’t meet Celia as she was away for the weekend however Mike gave us some good local recommendations. Ground floor bedroom overlooking a beautiful garden. Good spacious shower. Lovely 10 minute walk into Frome through a meadow and along the river. Good selection of coffee shops and restaurants in Frome. Frome is a great location to explore Bath, Bradford on Avon and Wells.

What can I say? From the moment I arrived, Naomi was warm and welcoming and made me feel completely at home. She was full of great recommendations for coffee shops and nearby restaurants (there are a number of great ones) and knowledgable about fun day trips and local must-sees. Along with her husband Dave and son Michael, Naomi made my stay a lovely and stress-free one and I would wholeheartedly recommend their home for a stay in Cardiff. Thank you so much, Naomi. You couldn't possibly have been a more gracious host. :)

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful barn! The space was incredibly spacious and easily accommodated our group of 15 without ever feeling crowded. The interior design was absolutely stunning , stylish, warm, and full of character and everything was spotless on arrival, which made us feel right at home. The surrounding countryside was peaceful and picturesque, perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming countryside retreat!

Annie is a very welcoming host who makes you feel at home immediately. The room is in a lovely peaceful spot down a lane but within a 15 minute walk to a lovely pub with food. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet but also close enough to towns for amenities.

A wonderful host who is happy to go out of her way to make you feel welcome and help out whenever she can. The farm is the ultimate peaceful retreat, with only the occasional cow or lamb punctuating the serenity. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the breakfasts are amazing. Can't find anything negative to say about anything.

We had a lovely family getaway at the chapel over Christmas. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Matthew and Graham were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and accommodated a few small requests we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burford at Gabi and Manfred’s beautiful, historic home. We felt Burdord is the perfect spot to stay while seeing other countryside towns/villages. Gabi serves a wonderful breakfast on a the patio (weather permitting) with a crackling fire for warmth and ambiance. The room has a wonderful view of the town, is both immaculate and private plus has a feel of “back-in-time”. You can walk to shops and restaurants within a minute. A truly unique and special experience. We hope to have a reason to visit again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Inge & Robert’s home. The room was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged—I slept wonderfully both nights! Their house and garden are beautifully decorated, with every detail reflecting their great taste—it felt like staying in a peaceful retreat. Inge and Robert were exceptionally kind hosts. When I ran into a small issue during my stay, they immediately offered help with genuine warmth, which I deeply appreciated. Their thoughtfulness truly made me feel at home. Thank you both for your hospitality and care. I’d love to stay here again if I’m back in Cheltenham!

The 3 weeks that I spent at Nina’s with Betsy, Minou and Suki as roommates were my most cherished weeks of 2025! Nina’s place is spotless, pretty, cosy, just everything to make you feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, who became a friend. The city is the just spectacular and truly heals! My heart is heavy leaving this beautiful place, and my darling Betsy. Until next time!

We had a great time at Diana’s place. Her place is so peaceful and cosy we felt at home. The village is lovely and we could walk to the local pub where we had a tasty dinner. The bedroom and private bathroom were spotless and well-furnished. Diana provided everything we needed. She cooked an amazing breakfast for us ! She also gave us some advice about nice villages to visit to avoid the crowd. We highly recommend her place !! Thank you so much Diana ❤️

I stayed at Lorraine's last year when I was on an early flight out of Bristol. Which is why I chose it again this year. Really nice location, there is a great pub in the nearby village only 10mins walk away. Her husband was very accommodating in getting me to the airport, for a small extra charge which I was more than happy with. First on my list when I have an early flight again!

Great if you’re traveling and want a better deal and better amenities than a hostel! The croissants each morning really were a blessing after drinking a little too much the night before!

Julie was a fantastic host, once I was shown my room and showered Julie brought a pot of tea and jam and cream with her scones.(excellent scones).Very friendly and nice to chat with,as was her dog paddy. I would definitely recommend Julie's place.

Excellent location within walking distance to the town centre and the Hay Festival. Wonderful place and kind hosts. Highly recommend!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

We would give 10 Stars- if possible :) We had a wonderful time at Arlene’s charming cottage in Lechlade, perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage is cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotless, with many thoughtful touches like bathrobes, slippers, a fridge, tea maker, and coffee machine – everything you need to feel right at home. The rose garden is absolutely lovely and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic – generous, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Arlene is a truly lovely and welcoming host, and her little dog Daisy is simply adorable. We would love to come back – highly recommended!

Jean-Maurice and Sabrina have a fantastic place. Private parking and a few minutes walk to the station with regular trains into the city. Incredibly quiet. Absolutely zero traffic news. Loft conversion was beautifully done and spotlessly clean with everything you need. Such a friendly family as well and happy to share their kitchen and garden with their guests. I loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return if they’ll have me. ❤️

Lovely home and wonderful host! Everything was perfect and just what we were looking for. We had a very relaxing time and really enjoyed our stay. The delicious breakfast was a great touch too. Jo is kind, friendly and helpful and her two golden retrievers are very friendly. We would highly recommend!

A beautiful cosy hut, perfect for a one night stop. Wonderfully warm welcome from Alison. Everything was set up for our baby too, including an extra adult size breakfast for him which was a lovely surprise! Spotless all round and very functional space with literally everything we needed including nappy bags and a clothes horse! Highly recommended, we'd definitely stay again 😊
