The house is a former trading house, renovated in 2014 and transformed into a guesthouse. It's built in the eighteenth century in the heart of the historic city of Bruges. A great location in a quiet neighborhood along the canals. Very close to the market. An ideal place for your business trips or to discover Bruges as a tourist.
“I cannot recommend this highly enough. Everything about it was perfect. Sophie and Filip are excellent hosts and the space is beautiful, comfortable and well presented. It's location is very pretty and a very lovely and easy walk into town. You will be greeted on your arrival and Filip spent time with us showing us around the house so that we knew how everything worked (definitely made settling in quicker) and giving us recommendations on what to do and where to go in Bruge and made time to answer specific questions we had (mainly about where to eat). A nice touch was that they said if we needed any other tips or information just to get in touch and drop them a message which was really kind. The rooms are very big and the beds are amazing - they are bigger than normal double beds and extremely comfortable making for a lovely nights sleep. There are black out blinds too which led to some later than planned mornings in a very nice way as we all over slept! The outside space is awesome too and can imagine it being somewhere you spend a lot of time if you are visiting in the warmer months. My one slight caution would be if you have problem walking up and down steps as there are quite a few and they are quite narrow but this is standard in Bruge and in Belgium due to the design and shape of the houses but would be something to consider (it makes visiting restaurant restrooms an interesting experience as they are usually either upstairs or downstairs from the main restaurant). The first bedroom though only has a few from the lounge to the kitchen and then a few more to the bedroom itself but the second is up some quite sleep steps. Honestly, if you are considering this guesthouse, just book it immediately! You wont regret it!”
This cosy renovated apartment (86 sqm) is the ideal place to discover the beautiful romantic city of Bruges and it surroundings ! It is a calm apartment located at the 3rd top floor and looking out on the river around Bruges. Go explore Bruges by bike and discover the hidden gems. No need to rent bikes, there are four bikes included. Young families are welcome! A travel bed, child seat table and bicycle seat can be provided if asked.
“This is a very cool apartment with an ideal living room for a group of friends and a gorgeous view. Interestingly thought out interior details. In one of the bedrooms there is an Apple TV (we certainly did not have time to use it, because we only stayed for one night, but this is a cool feature). In the fridge, we met Welkom Drink - local beer and water bottles for all guests)) The apartment is located in a more modern part of Bruges. It’s not long to go to the center, you can explore all the surroundings along the way) Nearby there is a large supermarket - convenient. Christoph is a very helpful host, thanks!”
Charming, private, quiet hideaway in the centre of the old town. Only five minutes from the market place you'll consider yourself as a local when arriving in your home away from home!
“A beautiful place to call home for a lovely trip to Bruges. Manon is a great host who communicated with me and advised on some buses for the return journey. The house is ideally placed for maximum exploring of the beautiful medieval city of Bruges by foot. The beds are so comfortable and the house is well equipped for our four night stay. It was a fantastic place to stay for my mums 60th birthday celebration and I would recommend to everyone looking to stay in Bruges. Thanks again Manon!”
