Maddle Brook Safari Camp

JenniferRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful few days at the safari tent - fantastic location - completely secluded, not another soul in sight. Some amazing walks straight from the tent, and lovely evenings spent sat on the veranda. Tent was super cosy with the log burner, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The Firs Campsite - Pendock Safari Tent

MattRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We’ve stayed in lots of safari tents over the years but Firs is one of the best sites we’ve visited. The cabin bed and den for smaller kids was superb. The whole place was fantastic and had everything we needed. The area was beautiful with lots to do and shops/pubs/park all within walking distance. Will definitely be visiting again. Simon was a brilliant host and gave us some great recommendations. 10/10

Trenosa Glamping - Stunning Views & Private

JessicaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
AMAZING STAY AT TRENOSA! The instructions to get there were very clear. The single track road was a bit daunting but very doable and the tent and especially the views are extremely worth it! The safari tent was definitely luxury camping but lacked some amenities, would definitely recommend bringing your own kitchen cloths, tea towels and handwash/bar soap and any toiletries you need. The hot water, amazing shower and kitchen were all great! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch with local cheeses and local eggs! The beds are super comfortable and we all had amazing sleeps. It can get really chilly at night but the duvets provided were lovely and cosy. The only downside if you're squeamish like we are was the insects, there are lots of spiders and earwigs in the tent but it definitely didn't ruin our stay. The views and privacy are so worth it! Just book this place! You definitely will not be sorry!!
A bell tent is showcased, featuring colorful bunting along the entrance. Inside, a spacious sleeping area is highlighted by a soft rug and a low table adorned with decorative items. Natural light filters in, enhancing the inviting ambiance.

Glamorous Safari Lodge & private hot tub

EmmaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
On arrival, there was a folder with info & a tablet for us to check in, get the WiFi & helpful links to local POI’s & activities. We also had some tasty treats waiting for us & the lights & radio were on which added to the welcoming ambience. Clean &tidy with blankets, robes and slippers to make yourself cosy. We were supplied with some wood for the burner & more could be purchased from the honesty shop near the entrance. We were supplied with a code to go in whenever we needed to collect more wood or food items. We just had to tick what we’d taken on the sheet & at the end of the stay, had a bill emailed to us. Only thing I’d say we found a little frustrating was that we were told we couldn’t light the burner on the day of departure as it got too hot for the cleaners. But at 6am at the end of October, it was cold! & the electric heaters didn’t kick out enough heat to warm the place up. But this wouldn’t stop me recommending it to others ☺️👍🏼 Thank you for a lovely stay 👍🏼

Lovely place to "Glamp". We only stayed one night but there is enough stuff to keep you occupied for a few days. Daisy - our 6 Berth Bell Tent - was great. Enough space for all 6 of us. Would book again for sure.

Astounding unique valley experience with hot tub

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fantastic place to stay, location is beautiful and the facilities unbelievable. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this place - we came as family but it would perfect for couples or friends. The communication before and during the stay was 2nd to none, Iain and Milly so helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Although we barely wanted to leave the lodge and hot tub we could recommend the walks along the river and to the rock formations and the Chim Doo Thai takeaway. Thanks again for a lovely stay - we’ll be back!

Under the Oak Glamping, Dan y Ffawydden

DeanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I stayed at Under the Oak in May 2024 with my family (wife and 3 boys 15, 14, 11) and pet dog. The accomodation was lovely - just as described. The tent was very large with plenty of room for all of us. It was very nicely furnished with everything you needed for the stay. The area we were in was very private. It was conpletely enclosed so we could let the dog run freely around - which she loved - and the boys could play some football. We really enjoyed the hot tub and we had it on every night. Normally the kids would want to be out and about in the evenings but they were happy to stat on site and relax here. One of our children has problems being around strangers so being in our own private area was perfect and really helped him relax and enjoy himself. The views are beautiful and there is plenty to do in the local area. I would highly recommend this place to families and anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.
