Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Frisia

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip in Cuxhaven and had an all-around lovely time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything worked out for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

We had an all-around great stay at the "Inselkieker"! Everything was exactly as described and in great condition. It was very clean and modernly furnished. The beds were comfortable and big. We were especially pleased with the selection of toys for the kids and the great play area in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

The accommodation as well as the operator exceeded our wishes. She was accommodating, friendly, proactive and responsive to difficulties, provided us with the garden, was helpful with tips and prepared the accommodation very nicely. We will be happy to come back if possible.

Jara's place is beautiful, quiet and corresponds to the description. You are on your own and surrounded by the beautiful nature. Jara was accessible at all times and allowed us a flexible check-in. Through the instructions she put together, we were able to orient ourselves well and plan activities. Even with a dog, it is a dream, as you can walk directly from the house.

The house is amazing, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are high-end. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real treat for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any question, help, and recommendation at an exceptional level.

A lovingly furnished cottage in a quiet location. The amenities are excellent, as you can see in the pictures. A perfect location for two persons. On the terrace you can sit and enjoy the tranquility and nature. We will be happy to come back.

Monika and Dieter are two friendly and helpful hosts. We felt very comfortable with them. The apartment is lovingly and usefully furnished. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sun in a separate part of the garden. With the two bicycles provided, you can easily cycle to the north and Nordeich.

Beautiful days in a beautiful accommodation. It was perfect (except for the weather😅). We immediately felt at home. The view of the lake exactly as described. Comfortable beds. The few days with Volker were very nice. We felt right at home after being warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got lots of tips for nice excursions. Volker was always a helpful contact person and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us at the communal campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully and gladly come back. :-)

TOP Airbnb, we felt comfortable from the first moment and can only recommend this accommodation! Everything sparkling clean and like new, comfortable beds, great internet. Sabine is an extremely accommodating and obliging host. She was always immediately available for our concerns. The location is very quiet and the apartment is completely private. Simply fantastic accommodation. Everything you need, 1A location, quiet, tidy, clean, cozy and beautifully bright. Information exchange before the trip and check in also went quickly and everyone was super friendly. And Emden was of course great as always. Everyone should have been there :)

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

As always, Tim's apartment was just a dream. This time we were here with our one-year-old son and thanks to the high chair and super bed situation, that was also just great! The size is great and the location just perfect for the south beach but also easily accessible by public transport. We will be happy to come back!

A highly recommended accommodation with everything you need for a stay 😊 For the location, a bicycle is recommended, but also within walking distance if you have no problem walking about 15 minutes from the train station. The apartment offers plenty of space, is very clean and the kitchen offers everything you need! We will be happy to come back!

The place is in a quiet relaxing location just to chill out and forget about the chaos of the city! Inside was very cozy, private, spacious and clean. Place very well stocked but would have been also nice to have some boardgames around. Kevin answered very quickly when needed. Overall, my kids and I were very happy to enjoy a couple of days in the nature in a nice and cozy little place! Thanks Kevin.

Thank you for the wonderful time at your place (&the flexibility). We were here with our two sons (3 years and 7 months). The apartment is well suited for children due to the furnishings, but not overloaded and therefore also usable for other guests. It is located in a quiet location.
