We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The chalet looks like the pictures. Everything was in great and new condition. Check-in worked smoothly via the lockbox, so we could arrive flexibly. You should definitely take into account the tourist tax. With us, it was 62 euros for 2 adults and 2 children from Thu-Sun, which we paid on arrival at the reception. The kids enjoyed the large trampoline and swimming pool very much. The beach was also very nice for walking. On the beach there was also a climbing frame for larger children and numerous dog owners who could let their dogs play freely. Supermarkets are easily accessible by car. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and we would like to come back in the summer to go bathing.

Lovely stay, very peaceful and ideally located for our climbing activity in Groningen. We also had a nice morning in Winsum. Whisk whilst not a problem to us, it’s worth noting that the only bedroom with clothes hanging space and a mirror is the main bedroom. The bathroom / shower is also only accessible through the main bedroom. Overall very comfy and well stocked, with very helpful hosts.

Great long weekend. The house is very well located for walks, bike tours and a visit to Groningen. The house is very confortabel. The kitchen has everything you need. In the afternoon we could have a drink in the little garden at the back.

We had a very good time in Gudrun's car, everything was as described. It was cozy and clean, Gudrun was very friendly and we felt comfortable. A great cottage if you want to have peace and quiet around you. The cottage is actually completely new inside (kitchen, bathroom, beds etc). It lies on a side branch of the Weser where you can canoe. In short, great cottage with all the comforts, completely top.

Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house is spacious, especially downstairs with a large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They hadn't expected anything so nice (because Grandma had skimmed over it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

Small, but OHO :-) Here you can relax and get out of everyday life. Cozy cottage with everything you need. Quiet location with direct water access, many play opportunities for children inside and outside, super equipped kitchen, restaurant within walking distance, information folder to the house with great tips for the area, etc :-) Dear host, who responds quickly and provides helpful information. We had a great time and will definitely come back again :-)

What a wonderful place! A hidden gem. The house has everything you need. The washer and dryer (in the shed) are great to have. The backyard with deck and dock is more than beautiful. We rented bikes at Oomkens Bike Shop, great service, great bikes (20 minutes walk from the house). The houses are behind a locked gate (need a code to get in), that adds to extra feeling of safety. We felt totally spoiled staying there. We will definitely come again!

Everything was exactly as described. The kitchen was super equipped and freely available. The shower warm and large and the bed very comfortable. I even had an electric roller shutter by the window. I only missed a night light by the bed.

We felt very comfortable. The house and garden are excellent for relaxing. It is nice that the living area can be easily separated from the bedrooms by doors. This gave us very different "ins-bed butts" very well. It was a pity that a terrace was closed due to heat damage.
