Vacation rentals with a sauna in Cowichan Valley

Quiet place with a beautiful view of Shawnigan Lake. The suite was very comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was a pleasure to stay in such an amazing and beautiful place. The property is literally right on the beach, offering an incredible view of the lake and surrounded by forest. There are plenty of activities available: brand-new kayaks, swimming in the lake, hiking, basketball, tennis, and more. Shops are within walking distance. Everything was perfect, especially the friendly, home-like hosting. The property has everything you could need — and even more! We will definitely come back in the summer!! Excellent place!

A wonderful stay in an absolutely stunning location! The photos and description are perfectly accurate, and the place is wonderful to spread out relax or use as a homebase while visiting Sidney. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and stocked full of amenities, and the kitchen is very functional with a great open room and beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Victoria is about a 25 minutes drive away (depending on traffic) but the suite is close to many amenities including stores, restaurants, the Victoria Airport and the ferries to Vancouver. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Gorgeous view! By far the best home we've stayed in, in Lake Cowichan! This home is stunning! The relaxing sauna and locally-sourced welcome basket with baked goods, etc was such a nice touch. We highly recommend staying here! It had so many extra amenities: yoga mats, board-games, plush robes, beach supplies, barbecue on the patio, etc. The bed was ultra comfy with pristine bedding. The unobstructed lake views were outstanding, we wish we could wake up here every morning! We hope to stay for at least a week when we come back to rent paddleboards & tubes to float the river this Summer. The location is perfect, very close to the shops and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked beautifully, so we cooked every meal during our stay. Everything needed was at our fingertips! Shawn and Alexandra were lovely and welcoming hosts, and let us have our privacy during our stay.

What can I say.... this place is fantastic!! Our large group of 7 had ample rooms to sleep in, Matt and Kyrstle were responsive, welcoming and informative. The house is well appointed with everything you need, and was very organized. The location was perfect, quiet but close enough to great attractions. They are super hosts for a reason, this place and experience was super. Some of our guests also enquired about booking it for themselves another time. Fabulous stay all around. We visited Vancouver Island for the first time with friends. We didn't know anything about the area before our visit. We lucked out that this is a great spot to fish. We visited with two families and 4 children total. It was a good size for our group. I appreciated that it was dog friendly. The sauna was also very lovely. We were able to easily cook our meals with supplies provided as well. To note that the town of Port Renfrew is very sleepy, if you visit at the beginning of the week you will have exactly one dinner option, which can get tricky with kids. Make sure to get your groceries before you get here too! Check out is at ten which can be a little tight with children.

Great Stay! Beautiful property and wonderful place to relax

Pointless Break has a great location!!! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating in the living room to gather around the fireplace and HUGE TV. There are also 3 tables and chairs for playing games, jigsaw puzzles and enjoying meals together. The kitchen has everything you need to cook gourmet meals and a dishwasher to help with the cleanup. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The beach right down the road is a surfers paradise when the weather is right. Our family explored the old growth trees in Avatar Grove and watched the surfers at Sombrio Beach. We will definitely rent Pointless Break house again so that we can visit all of the other beaches in the area we missed.

This is a great place in a great location. Quick trip to the center of Victoria also a nice gateway if you want to start exploring North. Not to far from a Whole Foods as well. Kitchen was well stocked and functional plus a great laundry set up. Beds were super comfy. We also enjoyed the sauna. Excellent overall.
