Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria and the surrounding areas. The location is perfect for exploring, and the space itself was spotless and welcoming. A special shoutout to the two amazing people at the front desk—your help made our stay even better! It is also worth mentioning that there’s an urgent care centre right next to the apartment. We had an unexpected medical emergency during our stay, and the staff there were incredibly helpful. While I hope no traveler has to deal with that kind of situation, it is definitely reassuring to have that kind of facility so close by.

This place was just gorgeous, amazingly beautiful! We didn’t want to leave! We had such a relaxing, peaceful time there and I recommend this place to everyone!

Matt is very friendly and welcoming. He would check with me if I needed anything which I really appreciated. The place itself was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for what I needed. I would definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at Solo Suites. We loved being able to walk to groceries, coffee shops and stores. The parking choices included an upstairs area that suited our full size truck, a rare offering in the city. The one bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. The best part of all was the staff, they were so friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We’ve already booked our next stay here, this time for a month. Thank you, we’ll see you again.

Overall it was great! I had zero complaints and I was able to check in early. I would like to see a 1pm check in time or maybe send an update via text through airbnb telling people that if they would like to check in early they can because the room is ready early. That would be nice! Otherwise don't be scared to ask to check in early. For me and my dog, it was wonderful and the area is nice.

Denise and Stefan are lovely people who have put a lot of hard work into restoring a amazing piece of Ladysmiths history. And when you stay here you can really feel there was some thought out into every detail. Beautifully finished and well equipped, quiet and cozy with radiant heat and heat pumps along with gas fireplace. I can’t say enough about it I love the history of our west coast and I really appreciate the effort that was put into enlightening guests on the story of how this particular place came to be. West coast inhabitants have got to be the most notoriously hard working resilient people who live in a seriously rugged environment and although technology sometimes lures us to believe we are safe from our environment- this space reminded me of the not so distant past where things were simpler but also super dangerous for the loggers and miners of the coast this hotel was a place to restore yourself and get back to the grind. Wonderful accommodations that felt like home!
