Oakleigh Cottage

Beautiful little stop-over. Unfortunately we were late getting in and had a really early departure so we didn’t get long to appreciate the loveliness of Mark & Michelle’s place but in short - everything as described and a really beautifully decorated & looked after place - thanks so much!

Oceanside Cottage In The Trees

KathyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Michael was quick to respond to my requests. Behind the cottage it is beautiful and would have been nice to enjoy except for the weather when we were there. I would have loved to dine outside. You can walk to downtown and there is a bakery and small grocery across the street. Very convenient for 2 people.

Port O'Pierre Port Renfrew Cottage

NoelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time at Port O’ Pierre and will return. The home is cozy and functional with a well appointed kitchen. My son enjoyed the choice of channels - cable and streaming. We enjoyed walking around the development and the nearby beach. The local grocery store and cafes are more than adequate. 👍

The Sea House

PeterRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had such a great stay at Niki and Neal's cottage. Everything was as described, if not better! We couldn't have been happier with the location and set-up in the cottage. We enjoyed friendly interactions with Niki and Neal + equally pets, appreciated some very tasty homemade treats and learned about the local swimming lake that was close by. I would have been very happy to stay in Fulford Harbor for much longer, soaking up the local flavor / nature / hiking / swimming that is all close enough to not even need a car (although we did have and use one).

Westover Bed and Breakfast

PaigeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I have already recommend this stay to all of our family and friends! It was one of our favourite (if not our favourite) Airbnb stays ever. It’s very evident that Tara enjoys hosting, as we arrived to fresh cut flowers and strawberries, and other various homemade food items which were delicious! This is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Such thoughtful details like local soap which we loved so much we ended up going to buy some of, and twinkly lights and candles for the outside tub. Cannot recommend this stay enough and if we ever come back to Salt Spring we will be booking again :)

Anne & John's cabin in the woods was absolutely remarkable. Enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the amazing carpentry work and the very comfortable bed. The cabin is cozy but feels spacious because of the large windows and the covered deck. Anne and John made us feel very welcomed there. Highly recommend! Geraldine & Neil, Gabriola Island

This was the perfect space for a weekend getaway. Alison was a great host, always willing to help, but also very respective of privacy. Jordan River Sea-Can Retreat

BethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This property was absolutely amazing! We all loved the outdoorsy vibes, relaxing in the hot tub and on the porch, cooking on the blackstone, and sleeping in the dome! Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable! The inside of the SeaCan was definitely tight, you really couldn’t have more than 1 person in the kitchen without it feeling crowded, but that’s where we thrived in being outside. We loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Cowichan Valley Forest Hideaway

VeronicaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can’t remember the last time I slept so well! The cabin was thoughtfully designed, well-kept, and in such a peaceful setting. It’s a short drive from both Duncan and Lake Cowichan, so we were able to easily split our time between relaxing/reading at the cabin and exploring things in town. And the bed was super cozy! After leaving, we found ourselves wishing we had booked a longer stay. Highly recommend!

Glamping Cabin Near Cowichan River - Elderberry

KathleenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Nairn's place was a truly lovely place to stay. The glamping cottages are in a peaceful rural neighborhood, and the cottages are nestled down a short trail with solar fairy lights in a forested clearing. The cottage had everything we needed, with extra supplies of linens and towels. The oil lamps and made for beautiful lighting. The first night was rainy and cozy and we enjoyed playing a boardgame. The second night was clear with stars. The outdoor bathroom was charming, and the outdoor kitchen area was wonderful, sheltered with great lighting and fully supplied. I really loved the fire pit too! They were friendly and we were greeted our first night to check if we had everything we needed. I was in Duncan for an art show at the Glenora Community Hall; the proximity was fabulous! We also visited the Kinsol Tressle Bridge in the area which was stunning, and enjoyed Hawaiian burgers at Kahuna Burger in Duncan. Would definitely love to return and spend more time there!

What Ever Floats Your Cabin Choose Your Lakefront

BrettRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had an amazing and memorable weekend on Deanna's houseboat, filled with lots of time in the water and exploring the lake. Deanna suggested we bring a tent or sleeping pads for our group of 4 guys, and that suggestion worked out perfectly. The houseboat itself was ideal, and we made great use of the paddleboards. While not the fastest boat on the lake (maybe the slowest?), we actually really enjoyed the relaxed pace of our exploring and spent plenty of time stopped to swim. Overall we loved the boat, and would highly recommend booking if you want a unique lake experience.

Creekside tiny paradise. Surf hike and chill.

DanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Gorgeous, private tiny home near Jordan River. This cozy little getaway felt like it was on its own property due to a smart driveway setup by the owner. There was plenty of hot water for showers and dishes, and we couldn't think of anything that wasn't already included. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Make sure to pack all the food you need because it's a bit of a journey to go to a grocery store, but Sooke is on the way to this property with plenty of options, and the Cold Shoulder Café is only a two minute drive down the road for delicious pastries and breakfast/lunch options. Thanks so much for a memorable experience!

South End Gem

HollyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Diane and Jim's place is such a lovely, clean, homey cabin in the woods with cozy decor and everything you could need! We cooked all of our meals in the airbnb and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The bed is really comfortable and so are the couches, which are perfect for curling up and reading. We loved the big window by the breakfast table which makes you feel like you're directly in nature. The place is easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Ruckle park, which has a ton of great hiking trails and beaches to explore! Diane and Jim are really lovely and attentive hosts who helped us figure out logistics over the phone when we had trouble with the ferry over. This is a great place to stay :))

Private & Stunning.. 'The Wee Barn'

Chelsea RoseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our second stay and it was just as magical as before! The cabin is so comfortable and cozy. Everything you need is right there. Very tranquil and relaxing, especially listening to the frogs and owls at night. You feel disconnected from the rest of the island but if you do need to go into town it’s only 15 mins away. Sara was responsive and welcoming. The soup we purchased from the wagon’s fridge was SO tasty.
