Guesthouse vacation rentals in Cowichan Valley

We had a lovely stay at Billie’s place while visiting Salt Spring for a soccer tournament, and for our first trip with our new puppy! The place was very clean, lots of space, the kitchen had a large fridge and freezer for our snacks, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I even okayed the piano for the first time in years there! We enjoyed having a mudroom to take our boots/cleats/shoes off in and wipe our puppy’s paws before going inside. There’s also a nice lawn in front where we could play with the pup and it was walking distance from the local cidery. Overall it felt like our home away from home during our busy weekend visit.

This is our second time staying. This place is a beautiful above garage suite. It feels like you’re in the tree tops. Comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped for all we needed. Lovely quiet area where the only outdoor noise were birds and the frogs singing us to sleep. Near some trails that can take you down to the ocean. Perfect place for us. Thanks for hosting.

I recently stayed at a wonderful accommodation that was incredibly quiet, clean, and private. It was the perfect spot for my trip, especially since it was conveniently close to town. The peaceful environment made it easy to relax and unwind, while the cleanliness and privacy ensured a comfortable stay. Overall, it worked out really well for my needs and I would definitely consider staying there again.

We enjoyed a quite few days on the point. The property is beautiful with lots of options for accessing the water. We enjoyed staring at the strait from the hottub and looking for otters as well as plenty of other sea life post hiking nearby. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The loft is cozy and well equipped. We will come back!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Milas suite. Her place was very clean, cozy and modern, with everything I needed. Mila was an amazing host - she was easy to reach and prompt with her responses. I even had to extend my stay and she graciously accommodated me. It was a quiet space for me to work. I enjoyed my time there and highly recommend it. Plus, it's a short distance to town for any errands.

Anne and her husband were so friendly, and just generally went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcomed. We were greeted with a bottle of homemade apple cider from the apples in their orchard, chocolate chip cookies, a sourdough loaf, fresh strawberries, and other goodies stocked in the fridge. The space was clean and thoughtfully decorated, paying homage to the natural beauty of the area. Anne also checked in on the second day to make sure I didn’t need anything, and she made suggestions of events to attend during the long weekend. Thank you both for a wonderful weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is immaculate and had everything we could wish for (and more)! We felt right at home and there was a wonderful walk to a beautiful waterfalls just down the lane. We will definitely recommend Flatt on Platt to our friends and family!

My girlfriend and I wanted to book a getaway to unwind and this was the perfect spot for a peaceful and romantic weekend. We enjoyed breakfast/coffee on the deck each morning. This cottage had amazing views of the water and has a cozy, modern vibe. Jim is a great host. He gave us great recommendations for hikes and food. Don’t miss the koi pond—it’s absolutely beautiful. His property is so serene and calming, you'll instantly feel relaxed. One of the best Airbnb experiences, will definitely be back!

We loved our stay- the home was beautiful, clean, and tidy, and we had everything we needed. Shelby was friendly, accessible, and responsive. The location is beautiful and peaceful and we quite hope to come back some day. Renting an Air B&B was a new (and scary) experience for me, but Shelby made it both pleasant and easy. :)

Aprille went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable- from a fresh baked good waiting on the counter to fresh-cut flowers to thoughtfully stocking the kitchen and bathroom with just what we needed and nothing more. The space was clean, comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

I had the most lovely two days at Avi and Carly’s place! The space is very zen with beautiful finishings and so many thoughtful touches throughout (there was even beer in the fridge). Both Avi and Carly are wonderful - super kind, helpful, and quick to respond. I’m already looking forward to coming back 😊

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It’s very quiet and peaceful in a lovely area. We appreciated that it had a pack and play for our kiddo, and it was very clean and well-stocked. Only complaint is the wifi is a bit spotty in parts!

The back deck air was lovely to sit out on and the linens were very nice. Sofa bed was very comfortable, as were the beds.

Great place to stay. Very clean and a comfortable home away from home for our week of vacation. Close to lots of hiking and a great location to stage our trips to various parts of the Island. And a short drive to Langford for food or other supplies. Lance and Amber were very quick to respond to any queries.

Staying at this wonderful place was an unforgettable experience. We had the privilege of meeting Roy and Jane in person, and they are truly amazing warm, genuine, and incredibly thoughtful hosts. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. The house itself is stunning. It’s brand new and meticulously decorated with a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every detail, from the furnishings to the layout, shows how much care and attention they’ve put into creating a beautiful and welcoming space. The location is pure tranquility. Surrounded by nature, it offers peace and quiet that’s hard to find these days. Whether we were relaxing on the deck or just enjoying the stillness, it felt like a true escape from the busy world. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Five stars all the way highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

The loft was very clean and modern. We enjoyed staying in the Langford neighbourhood because it was quiet and safe. Lovely stay.

You will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive at this beautiful Guest House. Located at the top of a hill/mountain, it has breathtaking views. The Guest House is in a separate residence above the garage, thus requiring a climb up the outside stairs to reach this gorgeous home. The trip up the stairs is worth it! Peace and quiet awaits. Inside, the house has been very tastefully decorated throughout. No detail has been missed. It's warm, inviting and very spacious. The great room includes leather furniture and an enormous TV for the sports fan. I was greeted with a hostess basket on the lovely bamboo table (that seats 4 comfortably). A fully-equipped kitchen is on the facing wall. Directly off the great room is a glassed-in deck with additional seating. The bedroom has 2 queen beds with night tables, as well as another TV. It also includes a wall of windows. The bathroom has a washer and dryer - very handy for someone who is away from home. Top quality guest house!
