We had a fantastic stay at Sheila's place. The views were absolutely spectacular and my parents loved being able to view the local wildlife. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Sheila was even kind enough to provide some extra soft drinks and snacks for us. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at James and Naomi’s place! We spent our time playing records, dancing, and enjoying a few rounds of Scrabble. The loft is cozy and peaceful, with a great selection of board games—perfect for a rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I had an amazing stay. Was only a few steps from the beautiful very quiet beach. Julie and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning:)

We had a lovely last minute get away to Om Sweet Om. Really comfy bed with hotel style linens, fab hot tub and secluded space. Fan was really great addition as warm when we stayed. Sharon was welcoming over messages and lots of helpful tips for hikes and restaurants in the area!

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

The cabin is lovely! It’s peaceful, comfortable and really clean. The mattress is super comfortable. I loved the quirky design of the cabin and the bookshelf and board games were a bonus. Loved the meadow for doing yoga. The George Hill path is a must, as is the disc golf park (even if you’re just there for a hike). What I didn’t love was the lack of special touches we usually find at Airbnb’s. The amenities are very basic. For that price, though, how much can you expect. I’d prefer paying a little extra for more amenities/comforts. Bring all your own stuff - body wash, shampoo, coffee, and especially food!!! Really enjoyed the slow pace of island life but everything closes early (if it’s open at all) and there aren’t many restaurants so make sure to prepare and pack well.

wonderfully clean and cost cabin. we found the place very peaceful. just what we needed and was able to go out and enjoy the quiet wilderness around Madeira Park and Egmont. Hope to be back.

The Funky Bunky hosted by Marla exceeded all expectations! This private cabin was the ideal place to reset in nature and find peace. Marla herself is a wonderful host, creating a homey yet unique experience. The views are spectacular! I highly recommend this cabin for anyone who wants to get away and enjoy nature in a comfortable, beautiful environment.

It was a beautiful tree house we really loved the stay here. Jennifer provided us fresh bakery every morning which was fabulous & tasty. There was a guidebook with local restaurants, POIs, and house instruction which came in handy too. Overall, I would love to go back.

Stayed five nights while attending a family wedding nearby on Miracle Beach with a reception that night in the Black Creek Community Hall. Peaceful easy feeling while staying at Daniel’s private cottage in a setting with their horses, lovely flower gardens, beautiful tall trees and located only a few minutes drive from downtown Courtenay in a tranquil rural neighbourhood. Loved it!

Landon was incredibly helpful and kind during our stay. His property is wonderful and there is something for everyone from pool to video games to jacuzzi to big screen movie binges. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to stay in, downtown Prince George is a few minutes away and there is a wonderful public park close by for a gentle stroll or a proper run. My girlfriend and I wanted to book a getaway to unwind and this was the perfect spot for a peaceful and romantic weekend. We enjoyed breakfast/coffee on the deck each morning. This cottage had amazing views of the water and has a cozy, modern vibe. Jim is a great host. He gave us great recommendations for hikes and food. Don’t miss the koi pond—it’s absolutely beautiful. His property is so serene and calming, you'll instantly feel relaxed. One of the best Airbnb experiences, will definitely be back!

This was our home for a few nights and it was perfect. Cozy and peaceful. Vanessa had special touches all over the home that made us feel welcomed. I hope we can come back soon and stay here again. Great trails were easy to find and the small town close by was delightful.

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. It was appointed perfectly and we felt right at home. The outside area was beautiful with amazing gardens, trees, flowers, walking paths and a little pond. We walked to Beddis beach in about 15 mins with our morning coffees. Sauna and outdoor shower were great as well. Lovely stay.

I really like this place, and the location is perfect for easy travel to and from the Comox Valley. I appreciate the fact that it is a completely separate building on their property, and spacious and comfortable in all ways. A delightful small deck to sit outside is a bonus, and being just outside the bustle of town is just what I am looking for!

most beautiful peaceful country retreat. cabin really well appointed with super attention to detail. very cosy and Kate was a fantastic hostess. near local town with all necessities. very easy access to national parks, Whistler and other areas of interest. lake swimming and boardwalk minutes away. really enjoyed our week and would highly recommend.

Natalie’s communication was excellent prior to my stay. This made finding the location and check-in very easy. There was lots of attention to detail in the cabin to make me feel right at home, comfortable, and have everything I needed. Her care for her guests was very evident, and made for a lovely stay.
