Vacation rentals with a patio in Cowichan Valley

We really enjoyed our stay here and plan on making it a regular stop when visiting family. Karen was very responsive and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed and offered extra help. The unit was spacious and well appointed. We wanted for nothing and the bed provided one of the best sleeps we had had in awhile. Despite the location over the carwash it never caused a concern or noise issue and the big windows provided a view of the trees and sea. We even got to enjoy morning coffee on the deck one day. Thank you Karen for this great unit.

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Outstanding stay in Nanaimo. Less than 10 mins from all the points of interest for us. Easy parking, easy access into the unit, beautiful interior and so nicely decorated. We loved all the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The suite was beautiful, everything you need. The pillows on the bed were awesome! The location was excellent as we could walk! Highly recommend!

Place looked like photos and as described. Responsive host who went out of their way to fix a coffee machine that had reached the end of its life. I would stay here again.

the place was pristine, beautifully decorated and in the most peaceful, beautiful area! there are beautiful walking the nearby that lead to the beach, suzanne had maps and everything in the suite. Suzanne was extremely responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay!

We were lucky enough to get to meet Emma as the guest suite is located in the bottom floor of her family home (also with your own private parking and patio/garden space). Emma is so warm and friendly. We loved having the chance to chat and appreciated the helpful local recommendations on walking/biking in the area (Bald Mountain is just down the road, we also hired bikes from Cycle Therapy in Duncan for the Cowichan Valley Trail and ferry to Salt Spring Island from Crofton was also within 45 minutes drive). We saw beautiful elk and even a bear(!) hiking in the local area. The space is very large and well put together with all amenities you need and a wood fired sauna (and cold plunge!) that we very much enjoyed after all the exercise.

It was so peaceful, beautiful stay I have had in a long long time! Animals and orchards to walk around. The view was gorgeous and the decor was fantastic. I hope Brianna and Ryan know that they have the most special place and when I return to the island, I will stay there 100% !

Julie is a wonderful host! The place is beautiful and exactly as pictured/described. Clean, free of clutter but still with enough furniture to be comfortable. I stayed for an extended period of a month and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Julie was accommodating and an excellent communicator. Very quick responses, and provided us with anything we needed during our stay. Cowichan Bay is a beautiful area and the house is tucked away on a quiet dead end street but still only a short walk to the beach which my children loved. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay & was very reasonably priced. The pull down couch was very comfortable as was the bed in the bedroom. Having in suite laundry was also very convenient. Overall would highly recommend! You won't regret your stay in the beautiful Cowichan Valley at Julies oasis!

A fantastic place to come and decompress by the sea. Surrounded by nature in every direction, we found exactly what we were looking for. Gary and Kathy were kind to let us book short notice too.

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

Just spent four nights in the beautiful garden suite. It was spacious and comfortable. We were in the area for a wedding and this locale was excellent. Perfect for two couples. The garden was in bloom and an ideal place for a morning coffee and breakfast. Easily accessible to Victoria & Ferry. Highly recommend this lovely spot and a visit to the Island.

Port Renfrew is a great place to take the family. Halibut Hideaway was just as described, clean and well kept. All the amenities we needed were provided and in good shape. One rule about talking garbage to the dump wasn’t known prior to arriving and we found out the local dump where we were instructed to put the garbage was only open until 2pm the prior day. Either do all your cleaning really early or you’ll have to pack a bunch of smelly garbage into your car to comply like we did.

Enjoyed this beautiful condo on the ocean, quiet and relaxing setting, the perfect place to unwind. The surroundings, pool, hot tub and wandering the waterfront were the hilight for us. Terry’s condo had everything we needed and was just as described in the listing. We’ll be back!

This place was very nice, my kids and I enjoyed it so much. The beds were comfy, and the location was amazing. The only issue was, I booked because it was self check in, and I stated in my booking request message that my kids and I were in town for a ceremony, and we were gonna use the place to rest. The host called me once and I let them know I was in a ceremony and could not take calls. They then called me 5 times after I stated I was busy and in ceremony, their response was “the owner is concerned because you only booked one night”. They treated me like I was suspicious. They then emailed me, texted me, and messaged me on the Airbnb app, still after I stated I was busy.

What a great spot! The view is amazing. The house is set up well and the kitchen is well equipped. Denise was quick to respond!

Spent 3 nights here and would highly recommend it. Very comfortable, attention to detail. Everything that we needed was here. A fabulous condo in a beautiful location.

This was a beautiful location with great amenities for a relaxing stay. The rental had nice furnishings and all the necessities. the location was quiet and peaceful and the view... amazing!!!! Denise was a great host, responsive and proactive making sure I had the check in information with consideration there was limited cell service in the area. thank you!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Sea! Debbie's suite was beautifully furnished and decorated, the bed and sofas were comfy, and we loved the loft style architecture of the townhouse with skylights and tall ceilings. The partial oceanview was also lovely. We enjoyed the amenities offered, like the communal hotub and BBQs (but a set of BBQ metal tongs or flipper weren't found within the suite unfortunately). The only minor con was noticing the outdoor spaces (main and smaller decks) weren't cleaned; the leaves and dirt should've been swept and the tabletop needed wiping too. Once my husband cleaned it, the deck was more inviting and enjoyable. Overall it was a nice place to stay, with lots to explore between Nanaimo and Ladysmith.

One of the best stays. The view from the condo was amazing. We loved spending time watching the tide roll and the sea life. The place was very well stocked and comfortable. The complex was very well taken care of and had great amenities including horse shoes, tennis, fire pit, and of course the pool and hot tub. Would absolutely stay again!
