Mermaid Retreat 2 Blocks From the Beach! ~Sea

RachelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Really enjoyed our stay at this charming beach house. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We felt lucky to find it and would love to come back. It was great to bring our dog along. Just a heads-up: while the yard is beautifully kept, there are signs asking that pets not use it for bathroom needs. Also, pets aren’t allowed on the furniture, so plan ahead if your dog is used to being up on the couch or bed. The screened-in porch was a great hangout spot, and the bed was comfy. We saw an outdoor shower there, but it didn’t work. It wasn’t listed as an amenity, so we didn’t expect it, but it’s one of those features we always love at the beach. Check-in at 4pm felt a bit late to us and we chose not to pay for early check-in. Overall, everything was lovely. We could hear the ocean from the house and walk there in just a few minutes. Oh, and there’s a dog park nearby - a nice perk. We’d love to stay here again! WE LOVE FOLLY 🤙

Bungalow Under The Oaks

CheyenneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you’re looking for a cute little place to chill for the weekend, this is a great choice! While the bungalow is a little smaller than anticipated (for 2 adults/2dogs), the fully fenced yard makes up for everything else. The yard is pretty much completely shaded by beautiful oak trees, and my dogs loved every second we spent out there. The road is busy during the day, but at night, it quiets down, and all you can hear are the cicadas.

happy with our entire stay. The adorable cabin yard for our pups, well maintained and clean ! Fresh farm eggs puppy treats and carrots to feed the horses on our daily strolls! These ladies thought of everything to make your stay here memorable! Making us feel right at home while they shared their beautiful piece of land they take so much pride in. Just beautiful! We hope to return here next time we are in SC.

Breezy Poolhouse Cottage

MayaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Spot for an Unforgettable Bachelorette Weekend! We stayed here for my bachelorette and it was the perfect home base! The space was clean, cozy, and great for a group—7 of us fit comfortably. The loft is high and accessed by a steep ladder, so not ideal for those with height or mobility issues, but as plus-size guests, we felt totally comfortable using it and the beds were great. We loved hanging by the pool and having breakfast in the cabana. It’s about a 15–20 min ($20) Uber to downtown Charleston, so definitely plan to drive or rideshare as the area isn’t walkable. Highlights included a fun girls night in, a mead tasting on King Street, dinner at Mario’s, dancing at Dudley’s on Ann, and a homemade breakfast feast to end the weekend. The hosts were responsive and kind, and we felt so at home. Highly recommend for bachelorette parties, families, or groups looking for a fun, relaxing and private stay close to Charleston! Book it. Seriously!

Teal Door Inn

TayaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
House was exactly as pictured, although could use a little update. Kitchen island has some loose areas where clothes caught on, and very minimally stocked utensils/supplies- make sure to bring your own fave things if you will stay in and cook! (We didn’t need much this time around) Very clean space. Older but fully functioning washer and dryer- so nice to have this amenity especially for longer stays. Small but fully fenced-in backyard, was perfect for our pups to use especially for nighttime potty break- would loved to have seen more grass- mostly leaves and be careful of ants. Big bathroom, great water pressure in shower. Small but comfortable bedrooms- slept great on the beds! Very comfy couch and lazy boy chair. A stack of board games was a plus! Overall extremely satisfied with our stay! We were in town for a wedding and also wanted to enjoy some beach time. Host was available when we needed something and was very kind to our requests. Would stay here again!

Casita at Encanto del Sur

DiegoRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My stay was great. Instructions were clear and had a great time spending the weekend there. Everything you could want or need is within 5-10 mins away from the house. A lot of local places as well !! FYI. Be careful taking hot showers fire alarm will go off if you open the door right after showering. Parking was not the most challenging experience, but it was not particularly great either. I arrived with a full-sized truck, and entering the designated space was relatively straightforward. However, I was not anticipating the other vehicles in the parking area adjacent to the house, which at times made it difficult to exit the vehicle. Overall great house for a weekend in Charleston!!!

Recharge at Modern Mellow

CodyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at Nellie's place! It was clean, a good size, and in a great location close to tons to do in Charleston. We visit Charleston often and usually stay with friends, but we were visiting for a wedding and wanted an affordable place to stay in a good location. This fit the bill perfectly. The hosts were so nice and proactive, gave us space but made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in Charleston. P.S. we saw a negative review about bugs in this place. First, we saw no bugs during our stay. Second, if you're visiting the low country of SC in the summer, you are going to see bugs. Just wanted to call this out in case it was a concern for anyone!
