Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bologna

We had a wonderful time at Paola’s place. From a very friendly and helpful check-in right through to leaving, Paola was very attentive and gave us some nice restaurant recommendations. The apartment is beautiful and just as described. Right in the centre of Bologna - just minutes walk from the two towers and some amazing piazzas and beautiful churches. We would thoroughly recommend the red city bus and mini-train to San Luca. You can get the train back down or walk the Portico. Both great options. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The casetta is located on a quiet street, in a neighborhood close enough to the historic center to do everything on foot. Ideal for a family. Elisa is a friendly, welcoming and very responsive host who gives ideas for restaurants, in the neighborhood and in the center. Flyers and guides of Bologna are available in the apartment. The must: Elisa had left us everything we needed for breakfast in the morning.

The house is easy to find and is very quiet in a relaxed atmosphere. The surroundings are spectacular in the middle of nature. Even so, one can easily reach the town and the shopping areas. Piero was very welcoming and discrete and gave us very good points about Bologna and the surroundings. We are taking into account coming back.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Bologna and our accommodation was perfect - great decor, very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing weekend. The location is superb, just off Piazza Maggiore and everything worth seeing is walkable from the apartment. Excellent place!

We had a really nice 6-night stay. The little house is an old renovated farm building. very charming, with exposed beams. it was comfortable. we liked the huge bedroom and living space. the kitchen is tiny but fine for what we used it for. The bathroom is accessed from the stairs. Parking right outside the door made things very easy. The location is great for exploring the many attractions in the area. We visited Bologna by walking 12 minutes to the railway station and taking a 45-minute train ride.

The stay was wonderful, the place was very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything you needed. Particularly pleasant was the parking at the property and the beautiful little garden where you can recover from sightseeing. I would come back anytime.

We were a group of 3 couples traveling together and this was the first location on our trip. We all loved this beautiful home!! It was very large so we had plenty of room to gather but it also felt very private for each couple. The location was perfect to explore Modena. Very walkable to all restaurants and sites. Frederica was a lovely host who made several reservations for us and was very easy to communicate with. Staying here was a fantastic experience and all of us would stay here again! I had a great, great time at Katia's beautiful apartment. Even though it's not at the city center, it is still not difficult to find since the tran station is 30 seconds on foot away from the apartment. The buses are also around the corner, so it was really a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend her place if you are looking for something convenient and don't mind not being directly by the old town. Katia is a super friendly person and she always responded very quickly to my further questions!

Lovely apartment in a beautiful area with lots of cafés, restaurants, a beautiful museum and park right around the corner.

Very well located apartment to quickly access the train station and the city center, comfortable, very quiet, extremely clean and perfectly equipped. Franca welcomed us very cordially and took the time to give us advice (restaurants, shops, visits). Thank you for everything.

We had three pleasant nights at Fraca's place. It is located a bit outside but well connected by bus. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable.

The apartment is walkable to everything! Very safe entry and complex. Lots of space to relax and enjoy. The street noise is a bit loud at night but a pair of earplugs plugs so the trick! We slept great! We would definitely recommend Valeria’s apartment for your stay in Bologna!!

Mr. Aldo welcomed us warmly, making us feel at home. He explained everything clearly, from using the kitchen to opening the balcony door, ensuring a smooth stay. What stood out was his thoughtful hospitality. He provided water, juice, fresh fruits, bread, jam, butter, and both Italian and American-style coffee, which made us feel truly pampered. The accommodation was cozy and inviting, with Asian-style fans, paintings, and antique plates, making it feel like a local’s home rather than a hotel. Despite my sensitivity to noise, it was surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed. Mr. Aldo assured me he would handle any noise issues, which gave me peace of mind. If I visit Bologna again next year, I’d definitely stay here again. The warm hospitality made it feel like I was experiencing the local way of life. Apartment as described, stocked with all the essentials. Convenient area for visiting the historic center as well as very close to all the essential services. Josefina was immediately very kind in meeting our needs. We had a great stay.

Smaller apartment in an old building but renovated and modern, had all the amenities, as described, great location right at the end of center, walkable to all the places and close to the bus stops.

Very nice and clean house. Good location. Very well equipped and provided with everything you need, toilet paper, soap, even coffee sugar and everything you need. The only flaw is the parking is not easy to find and the noises of the condominium, a bit annoying given the ground floor. Overall recommended.

We had a great time! Franca welcomed us kindly and gave us excellent recommendations! The apartment was clean and well equipped, we ate out most nights but were able to cook at the apartment some nights too which was a nice change! A bit out of the centre but we enjoyed cycling to and from places and it was a fairly quiet area. Some noise from being close to the station which was fine and unavoidable. Franca couldn't have done more to make the experience enjoyable! Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend and stay again. Bologna is a beautiful city!

We enjoyed our stay in Bologna! The location of the apartment was very central and there was lots to do around it. It was also an easy walk to get to the train station, making trips to Florence and Modena very easy. Although there is no formal living room (this is not uncommon in Italy), there was plenty of space for our family as the bedrooms were spacious. We would stay here again and appreciated Giuseppe’s hospitality.
