Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bologna

Fantastic stay!!! We were 3 people staying here for 5 nights. Located just 30 minutes outside Bologna up in the mountains with a stunning view. We each got a bedroom, all of which were cool despite the heat outside. Luxurious with 2 bathrooms with both shower and toilet when there are several people. There is everything you need and even a washing machine if you are there for a long time and need to do laundry. Every morning, there were freshly baked goodies outside the door for us, which the gentleman who owns the house had arranged. Incredibly quiet and peaceful and the only thing you hear throughout the day is the chirping of the different birds. We'd love to come back here❤️

Everything was great. The house is lovingly decorated and clean. The house has everything you need, the location is wonderful and close enough to Bologna. We can only recommend the house.

A location immersed in the countryside with a huge garden, ideal for children. The house had all the amenities and we had a great time. Great location, only 18 km from Bologna. Tiziana is very kind and always available. Recommended!

Aneta was a great host, very proactive, helpful and friendly. Apartment was very clean and well designed. Beautiful green surroundings and the natural linden tree smell all around the streets and the apartment was just so amazing. It was only a 20 min train ride to Bologna center and the apartment was right around the corner from train station which was very convenient. All in all it was a great stay. Thank you again Anita! We’ll be back for sure.

We absolutely loved the house and all of the features. We spent a lot of time outside in the little patio area and our kids played basketball in the driveway. The automated windows, skylights, and shutters were very nice. The AC worked very well and kept us cool during the middle of the day when it was hot outside. The location is less convenient if you don’t have a car but we were able to walk to town in 20 minutes. The area was quiet and beautiful which is what we wanted so we didn’t mind the inconvenience. Very lovely hosts who live on the property and provided lots of information and were very responsive.

Accommodation surrounded by nature, spacious...with everything you need for a vacation of a few days. Beautiful surroundings and great for a hike in the woods around you... narrow and steep access road but accessible by car... necessary to get around... immersed in a small, very quiet village... Agata... very kind and helpful

Going there is already a party. Always going up, following the directions, you will eventually arrive at your destination. Then first enjoy the spectacular views. And then to be very impressed by the cottage. Super big, and very authentic. We felt like prince and princess!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

This house was amazing, we brought our 3 dogs along and had the best time. An extremely private garden and pool with lots of games. She provided all bbq equipment, portable speaker, TVs loads of towels everything you’d need. Dorella was a fantastic host and it’s a really lovely comfortable home. The pool is the big selling point and it didn’t disappoint

We loved Ruth's house. The perfect place to relax, enjoy the tranquility, nature and the pool. Although we had a car, Ruth told us how to get to Bologna better by train and it was a success. We were also in Florence. Ruth has treated us like part of her family and has had numerous details, both with us and especially our 10-month-old baby. Thank you!!

We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. I had all of the amenities I needed for my stay at Marina's apartment and could not fault anything at all. I had asked for some restaurant recommendations and Marina was responsive and helpful in providing these. In addition, she recommended some places to visit whilst in Bologna. All very useful. Nothing was too much bother for Marina. She greeted me on arrival and came across as friendly and we run through any questions I had. The apartment was clean and is centrally located in Bologna. I could not have wished for me.

Paolo was so kind, accommodating, and sweet to us. We wish we could have stayed longer but we would definitely return to stay in Bologna with Paolo.

Tomaso is a great host and his place is perfectly clean and comfortable. It is not IN the center, and it takes 15-20 mins to walk to the main square, but it is a quiet area, and the entrance to the center (the medieval walls) are only a 2-3 min walk from the place. There is also a pizzeria just downstairs, which is convenient after a tiring day of exploring Bologna and the surroundings.
