Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bologna

We had a wonderful time at Paola’s place. From a very friendly and helpful check-in right through to leaving, Paola was very attentive and gave us some nice restaurant recommendations. The apartment is beautiful and just as described. Right in the centre of Bologna - just minutes walk from the two towers and some amazing piazzas and beautiful churches. We would thoroughly recommend the red city bus and mini-train to San Luca. You can get the train back down or walk the Portico. Both great options. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

La casetta est située dans une rue calme, dans un quartier suffisamment proche du centre historique pour tout faire à pied. idéal pour une famille. Elisa est une hôte sympathique, accueillante et très réactive qui donne des idées de restaurants, dans le quartier et au centre. Flyers et guides de Bologne à disposition dans l'appartement. Le must : Elisa avait laissé pour nous tout le nécessaire pour déjeuner le matin.

The house is easy to find and is very quiet in a relaxed atmosphere. The surroundings are spectacular in the middle of nature. Even so, one can easily reach the town and the shopping areas. Piero was very welcoming and discrete and gave us very good points about Bologna and the surroundings. We are taking into account coming back.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Bologna and our accommodation was perfect - great decor, very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing weekend. The location is superb, just off Piazza Maggiore and everything worth seeing is walkable from the apartment. Excellent place!

We had a really nice 6-night stay. The little house is an old renovated farm building. very charming, with exposed beams. it was comfortable. we liked the huge bedroom and living space. the kitchen is tiny but fine for what we used it for. The bathroom is accessed from the stairs. Parking right outside the door made things very easy. The location is great for exploring the many attractions in the area. We visited Bologna by walking 12 minutes to the railway station and taking a 45-minute train ride.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar, die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Besonders angenehm war der Parkplatz an der Unterkunft und der schöne kleine Garten, indem man sich vom Sightseeing erholen kann. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

We were a group of 3 couples traveling together and this was the first location on our trip. We all loved this beautiful home!! It was very large so we had plenty of room to gather but it also felt very private for each couple. The location was perfect to explore Modena. Very walkable to all restaurants and sites. Frederica was a lovely host who made several reservations for us and was very easy to communicate with. Staying here was a fantastic experience and all of us would stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family home with us.

I had a great, great time at Katia's beautiful apartment. Even though it's not at the city center, it is still not difficult to find since the tran station is 30 seconds on foot away from the apartment. The buses are also around the corner, so it was really a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend her place if you are looking for something convenient and don't mind not being directly by the old town. Katia is a super friendly person and she always responded very quickly to my further questions!

Lovely apartment in a beautiful area with lots of cafés, restaurants, a beautiful museum and park right around the corner.

Appartement très bien situé pour accéder rapidement à la gare et au centre ville, confortable, très calme, extrêmement propre et parfaitement équipé. Franca nous a très cordialement accueillis et a pris le temps de nous donner des conseils ( restaurants, commerces, visites). Merci pour tout.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung, die der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen Aufenthalt in Bologna ist. Lucia ist die perfekte Gastgeberin und es gibt nichts, was an dieser Wohnung nicht wunderbar wäre. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten drei angenehme Nächte in Francas Unterkunft. Sie ist etwas außerhalb gelegen aber gut mit dem Bus angebunden. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tolle Wohnung ganz nah dem Zentrum in einem netten kleinen Viertel, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sauber und große Räume, super Empfehlungen der Hosts. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Grazie mille.

Points positifs : 1/ très bien situé, un peu à l’écart du centre touristique, mais à 2 pas de la via Zamboni et à 10 mn à pieds de la piazza Maggiore ; 2/ appartement bien équipé, confortable et propre ; 3/ Mirko est très accommodant, sympathique et donne de très bons conseils sur Bologne qu’il connaît très bien. Points négatifs : il n’y en a pas !

The apartment is walkable to everything! Very safe entry and complex. Lots of space to relax and enjoy. The street noise is a bit loud at night but a pair of earplugs plugs so the trick! We slept great! We would definitely recommend Valeria’s apartment for your stay in Bologna!!

L’appartement est beau, très bien équipé, propre et fonctionnel. Le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner est fourni, et dans le quartier on trouve des épiceries. L’appartement est à 10 minutes à pied de la gare. Piazza Maggiore est à 25 minutes de marche en ligne droite. Seul bémol : le bar en dessous de l’appartement et sa terrasse qui se trouve sous les fenêtres de la chambre. Les bruits métalliques forts, probablement des chaises et des tables déplacées sans soin sur le plancher en céramique, des portes métalliques claquées avec force, sont dérangeants jusqu’à très tard dans la nuit, parfois jusqu’à 2h30. S’y ajoutent les discussions animées, la musique forte parfois, la diffusion de prière certains matins dès 7h et la forte odeur de chicha sur la terrasse qui empêche d’ouvrir les fenêtres. Pour le touriste de passage avec de bons bouchons pour les oreilles la nuit ça va, surtout que l’appart est impeccable. Cela doit être pénible et usant à long terme pour le voisinage.

Wir waren zu siebt in der Unterkunft und hatten eine super Zeit. Die große Wohnung mit ihren zwei Bädern lag perfekt zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Innenstadt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und alles war sauber. Gerne wieder!

Appartamento come da descrizione, rifornito di tutto l'essenziale. Zona comoda per visitare il centro storico nonchè molto vicina a tutti i servizi di prima necessità. Josefina è stata da subito molto gentile nel venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. Abbiamo trascorso un ottimo soggiorno.

Smaller apartment in an old building but renovated and modern, had all the amenities, as described, great location right at the end of center, walkable to all the places and close to the bus stops.

Casa molto curata e pulita. Buona la posizione. Molto bene attrezzata e fornita di tutto il necessario, carta igienica, sapone, finanche zucchero caffè e tutto ciò di cui si necessita.Unica pecca il parcheggio nn smp facile da trovare e i rumori del condominio, un po' fastidiosi dato il piano terra. Nel complesso consigliato.

We had a great time! Franca welcomed us kindly and gave us excellent recommendations! The apartment was clean and well equipped, we ate out most nights but were able to cook at the apartment some nights too which was a nice change! A bit out of the centre but we enjoyed cycling to and from places and it was a fairly quiet area. Some noise from being close to the station which was fine and unavoidable. Franca couldn't have done more to make the experience enjoyable! Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend and stay again. Bologna is a beautiful city!

Francesco was a wonderful host and very friendly . His apartment was comfortable and we found ourselves feeling at home . I recommend it if you want to be a bit outside the center but still close.

We enjoyed our stay in Bologna! The location of the apartment was very central and there was lots to do around it. It was also an easy walk to get to the train station, making trips to Florence and Modena very easy. Although there is no formal living room (this is not uncommon in Italy), there was plenty of space for our family as the bedrooms were spacious. We would stay here again and appreciated Giuseppe’s hospitality.
