Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Avalon

I actually was not able to stay at the property due to some extenuating circumstances regarding the fires in Los Angeles. Thankfully, Catalina Vacations was extremely accommodating and offered to cancel outside of their normal window. They were very communicative, and I appreciate their willingness to help out!

Fantastic location, easy to access, was exactly like the photos. Was what we expected and more. I would recommend anyone familiar with Catalina Island to enjoy this spot as much as we did. Would book again when going back.

We absolutely loved this cozy beach house in Avalon. It was in the perfect central location; an easy walk from the ferry on a quiet and quaint, street. Beds were comfy-cozy, kitchen appliances were great, and everything was spotlessly clean. What a treat for our first visit to Catalina. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

We booked this lovely place for a bachelorette trip, and the ferry got cancelled the day of, as well as the next 2 days, so unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it there due to the weather. Debra was so lovely and responsive and very helpful during the entire process and I’m so grateful for how helpful and kind she was. We are definitely going to take a trip there and stay at Debra’s Airbnb in the future! 🤍 Thank you for being an awesome host!

This house is amazing - literally the best view in town. We could have easily just hung out in the living room with glasses of wine and had a fantastic weekend. The house is cool, funky, retro. Allison's description was spot on - and if you are looking for a modern style home, this is not for you. But if you are looking for something really cool... and did I mention the view...

This place was beautiful and the view was amazing. The place was clean and had all the amenities anyone needs. The hosts were very nice and responded fast. The golf cart was a great addition, made getting around the island much easier. Would definitely stay here again.

I needed a last minute place to stay after a long trip at Disney and it was around 10pm messaged Andy he replied right away , his place is awesome nice and clean easy to find and more than enough parking . Definitely recommend thank you once again

I had a lovely stay at Greta's charming beachside apartment. It was a last-minute booking, and Greta and her team went above and beyond to make sure I had a place to stay for the night—so appreciated! The apartment was sparkling clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed, and very comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, the vibrant neighborhood sounds felt familiar and didn't bother me. That said, the sound insulation is on the lighter side, so guests who are sensitive to noise might want to keep that in mind. Overall, it was a cozy and convenient spot with really responsive hosts! I would highly recommend this cute apartment.

Stayed here multiple times—great option

We only stayed two nights as a quick recovery after Disney, and the place worked great for our family of 4. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the beach was about a 10 minute walk. Easy to find, had every amenity we could have needed, and the parking spot was a plus.

We had a great stay at Blake and Brenda’s place. Very comfortable and sparkly clean. The apartment is in a very walkable area to all restaurants, shops and beautiful Corona Del Mar beach. We will definitely come back and would love to stay at Blake and Brenda’s place!! Thank you again Blake and Brenda! We felt right at home!!🥰

Would rent again. Perfect 2 bed, 1 bath blocks from the beach and downtown restaurants and shopping.

Really enjoyed our stay. The remodeling was done well, the furniture was comfortable and loved the little touches with the decor. I now understand why it was so highly rated. Would definitely stay again.

Overall stay was amazing, with beautiful views. Check in went smooth thanks to the host explaining everything beforehand. I would recommend downloading the Circuit app for transportation from the check-in location to Hamilton Cove. Circuit transportation is a lot cheaper than catching a taxi. The Hamilton Cove unit is a well-maintained updated condo. The unit does come with a golf cart which is a bit worn, however it got us around the island during our stay. The views from the unit are spectacular and it’s a quiet community. Would definitely stay here again.

Kim was a pleasure to deal with. She was very communicative and her place is right in the middle of town. It was easy to get to everything from her place. Having a golf cart included with the room was a huge bonus. Would stay here again for sure

Lamont and the staff were so friendly with great tips on things to do around the island. The property is breathtaking & steps away from the private beach, pool and gym. The golf cart included with the condo was seriously a lifesaver we explored the entire island with ease and sits 6 people. Bring a portable speaker for music on the go. The entire condo is pure luxe & so quiet and peaceful. The shower and kitchen design are my favorites- simply beautiful. Felt right at home!

Beautiful complex with gorgeous views and lots of nice amenities. Loved staying at Hamilton Cove in Catalina Island. Looks like a village on a Greek island, quaint, charming and peaceful.

This place matches the pictures exactly as listed on the Airbnb site. Rosie is very responsive; she provided us with information on local attractions and brought us additional heaters when we mentioned that the room was a bit too cold for us. She also allowed us to check in earlier, which made our day much easier. The golf cart that came with the rental is a must-have. Since the gated community does not allow rental golf carts inside, we were glad to have our own. It made it much easier to come in and out of the community, which is a bit too far to walk, especially when carrying groceries. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of condiments and plates, making it feel like home. I would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you for making our trip wonderful!

Great apartment with a fantastic view. Andre and Leslie were very responsive and kind, even got us an early check in. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment is a nice perk. Highly recommend!
