We had a wonderful weekend. We fell in love with this living space where we disconnected from the arrival The house is beautiful, very well thought out.❤️ I'm so glad I spent my birthday there and with sunshine at will. We also met the very friendly neighbors.😁 Thanks to the hosts, I recommend +++++

The house was perfect for what we needed. The bedrooms were cozy and the house was clean. I made friends with the goldfish and fed him every day. I would come back here without any concern.

We had a great stay at Chantal and Bernard's place. We were looking for calm, we were not disappointed! No opposite, beautiful unobstructed view of the countryside from the terrace, which allowed us to see deer almost every day, 1 fox, guaranteed show of raptors in the sky, swallows that come to drink in the pool, doves... Well-equipped kitchen, large fridge which is nice. Good quality bedding. The house stays quite cool even during high temperatures as it has shutters everywhere. The ultimate: the pool! Very large, exposed to the sun all day, beautiful depth in its 2nd half. Challais at 5 KM: probably one of the smallest cities offering so many shops and amenities... with a nice market on Mondays. Chantal and Bernard are very friendly hosts, very close but very discreet and responsive. We will definitely be back.

Florian is an exceptional host: responsive, kind and very attentive. Whether you need to rest or take care of yourself indoors, everything is planned. Very good stay at Daniel and Christine's, a very nice welcome with a little extra. Very quiet places for a relaxing vacation. Covered pool and Jacuzzi are great to enjoy in all weather. Large and very functional house, small fenced garden and large garden with several games. Really nice stay with everything you need for a good vacation. With the added bonus of good recommendations about the area and a little very nice history. ☺️

A great stay in an amazing place. I can only recommend. The only downside is that the light in the spa didn't work apart from that everything was perfect. The instructions were very clear and the place was easy to access. We'll be happy to go back!

The place is enchanting. In the heart of this beautiful Charentais village, Nathalie has been able to give back its beauty to this old small train station and animate it with this simple and benefictive magic, which offers those who give it the testimony of the work of the ancients and the respectful of contemporaries. You can imagine the modest history of this building that locals have been attached to for a long time, and help modestly continue writing along the old dock or sleeping in the chef's former apartment. Nathalie is also very attached to the comfort of these hosts, the bedding is excellent, the cleanliness impeccable and the hearty and tasty breakfast served at the table in the rising sun is much appreciated.

We were delighted with our weekend with friends in the Florence area. Very nice accommodation, spacious and very well equipped. We were 6 adults and 5 children and we had a lovely time. Florence was very responsive to our requests. I can only recommend this place.

We were a family/friends group and we all fell in love with the landscaped setting that was not overlooked and very well maintained. The accommodation is spacious and the rooms are well arranged The living space and the size of the living room allowed us to have a great start to the weekend in the dry with unpredictable weather. Once the good weather arrived, it was very pleasant for us to enjoy the outdoor activities and the charm of the outdoors on the edge of the Charente. I recommend this fully equipped cottage and thank you to Francis who is charming and available as needed
