Monthly Rentals in York

I enjoyed a lovely, peaceful stay at The Poetree - I didn't want to leave. Wendy and Fynn were the perfect hosts, there when I needed them but not intrusive. Fynn very helpfully showed me the best way to walk into York and was very thorought in guiding me around the house when I checked in. It really is the perfect place to unwind and take some time to yourself, especially when the sun is shining. The walk into York took me about 30 minutes, which was great for me. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again and stay a little longer next time!

I stayed at Catherine's during a coast to coast bike ride. She was a great host. Very welcoming and happy for me to bring my bike with me. Her home is lovely and the room was tidy and comfortable, would stay again.

We loved the apartment! I think it is only a few months old. Furniture was in good condition, clean, good linen & towels. The dishwasher was handy to have & the gym was a bonus. The city centre is about 10 mins walk & York station is about 10min taxi ride. The kitchen was well appointed & appliances worked well. The water pressure/temperature was perfect. Definitely recommend!!!

We had an absolutely lovely time in this apartment, close to town but also felt like a quiet little haven to escape to. Its clean and well kept with a comfortable sofa and TV with all the channels. We loved the river view. The bathroom is lovely the shower was a luxury. We had everything we needed including a fan which we greatly appreciated as the heating seemed to be untameable. minor points -The first night we didn't have any hot water which was a bit inconvenient to have a cold shower at 1am but all the info was in the welcome pack. The blind also is a bit dodgy, be careful to not let the strings catch on the window. Having to take our own rubbish when checking out was a bit inconvenient as we couldn't locate the bins so we carried it up to a bin in town. Bed and pillows could've been more comfortable. We'd come back in a heartbeat, thank you !
