GARDEN HOUSE

ByronRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Marika (and her family) are WONDERFUL hosts. The apartment is comfortable, plus an exterior garden-apartment-style patio with sofa unit as well as a table and four chairs (the laundry machine is behind a door off the patio). The kitchen is well-appointed, with a full size fridge and freezer, a Nescafé capsule coffee maker as well as an Italian stovetop moka, a microwave and a regular oven, and even a dishwasher. The neighborhood (Ottavia) is peaceful residential; there's a large In's grocery store about a 5 minute walk from the apartment, as well as a large fruit-vegetable stand outside. Various restaurants. LOCATION: It might look on a map that Marika's apartment is a long way from the center of Rome, but actually it is super-well connected. The walk downhill to the Ottavia train station takes 7-8 minutes, and from there it's a 20 minute direct ride to stazione San Pietro, by the Vatican. From there, another 20 minute train to Roma Termini. So #Connected! I'm very happy with my stay.

ESQUILINO STUDIO FLAT

LeticiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Spent 2 weeks while visiting Rome. The place is well situated to use public transportation and reach all popular sites. Was happy to know that her washer is also a dryer. The kitchen could use a new pan since the nonstick pan is peeling. The bed can be split into 2 singles which made my stay with my mom more comfortable. I recommend the location for its price and location combination. It’s also a plus that the train from the airport is walking distance.

We had a long term stay. Overall, it was a very satisfactory accommodation. It was also nice to have a private kitchen and bathroom. The host was so kind. I had a good rest without any inconvenience throughout my long stay. That's great!
