Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rome

Wonderful stay! Everything is like in the pictures. The location is great, walkable to all the sites. We had a toddler in tow and walked to at least 4 of the major sites in a day. Restaurants and shops are right outside the door. The courtyard is perfect and quiet. Our son really enjoyed looking at the fish pond. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we had enough linens and pillows for everyone. Everything was clean and tidy. Tv with lots of options for the kids and plenty of space to relax. Christian was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with an earlier check in which was great for our son after a long flight. Everything was smooth checking in and out. Great communication.

We stayed for a week and we loved the stay very much. The location is just perfect for visiting Rome. Everything is close. Good restaurants and breakfast place close. The balcony is absolute pearl, just fantastic to enjoy the Italian morning coffee and late night pizza with wine! The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at nights. I would stay again if visiting Rome.

Apartment as per listing in every way. Nedim was very responsive and attentive to my requests and questions. Very good location close to the metro to get to the center of Rome quickly. A little noisy environment but it's normal for a city center. Thanks to Alissa and her mom for their warm welcome.

Excellent reception and communication from the host, the apartment is excellent with a privileged location. Walking to the Vatican. Very valuable recommendations. The subway is 5 large blocks away. The apartment is clean, the kitchen is equipped. In short, everything is excellent. If I come back, I'll book with Rita. Thank you for all your attention

A wonderful, up to date home. A great location with many sights and restaurants in a walkable distance. The ONLY ding to a great location is the people and street noise. A busy day visiting Rome and a pair of disposable earplugs will fetch you to sleep.

We loved our stay in Luca’s apartment. It was big enough for us and our 3 yr old + had everything we needed for our stay - fully stocked kitchen, comfy bedding, washing machine, air con/heating, good size bathroom & super fast wifi. The location of the apartment is so good. We think Campo De Fiori is the best place to stay in Rome. There is so much in Campo De Fiori + it is central to all the major sites - we went everywhere on foot & nothing felt too far. The apartment itself is in a beautiful, lively square, which has a couple of restaurants - super convenient for morning coffees & a quick bite to eat. It is lively until late on weekends, but this didn’t bother us & didn’t impact our three-year old sleeping perfectly through the night! I found it a fantastic atmosphere to get amongst when entering or leaving the apartment. Luca’s contact was also really good. Super responsive & everything you’d want from a host. We’ll definitely look to stay here again next time we’re Rome

The host was fantastic took excellent t care of us always answering my texts right away she solved our problem with the suitcases & transportation the apartment was big lots of bathrooms excellent for us since we were 9 if I ever come back to Rome I would definitely stay here again just because the host

Their home, nestled on a peaceful hill, provided a serene escape while still being conveniently located with easy access to Rome’s ring road, making it a great base for exploring the city and beyond. The house itself was impeccably equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless long stay. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure staying at this lovely apartment in the Prati neighborhood of Rome for five nights. The location is fantastic – a truly nice and quiet area, yet with the convenience of excellent restaurants and grocery stores just a short stroll away. We especially enjoyed Fratelli Rossetti, a wonderful recommendation from Antonella! Getting around Rome from here was a breeze. We found it easy to reach all the major sights by bus or Metro, not to mention the Vatican City which was within comfortable walking distance. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable and it had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook a nice meal or simply relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. Our host, Antonella, is exceptional. She proactively provided us with a wealth of helpful tips, which truly enhanced our stay in Rome. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

Very nice accommodation. We returned during the day to rest on the quiet terrace before visiting Rome. We did everything on foot so necessarily being at the top of a Coline is a little sporty. Very quiet Convenient because there is a convenience store right next door. And walking a little we find ourselves on the other side of the neighborhood which is not touristy with very good restaurants ( Bruno ai 4 Venti) Matches listing A great place to remember 😀

We had a great time in this spacious and functional apartment. We were warmly welcomed and given good advice. The idea of the map of Rome under the kitchen tablecloth is excellent as is the map of public transport. The neighborhood is friendly with a very good pizzeria right next door. There is a small supermarket 2 steps away and a fruit and vegetable shop just opposite. We did everything on foot. The Vatican is 30 minutes away. The historic center is 40 minutes away. The neighborhood is very hilly, you have to plan to save some energy to go back up. The street is quite busy as in any big city. It's really a very good place to remember!

Our stay was very enjoyable. This is a great location, so close to the Vatican. The area felt very safe and we enjoyed casual walks along lively and pedestrian only Ottaviano Street to St Peter’s square most evenings after supper. The immediate area has lots of great restaurants, we really liked Il Colibrí which was just a block away on Via Famagosta. The close proximity to Ottaviano metro station is a big plus and made it very easy to get to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain etc. Last but not least, Roberto was a great host, so pleasant, considerate and helpful.

Chiara’s spacious apartment is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. It felt like a real home from home during our stay; somewhere relaxed and cosy to come back to after exploring Roma each day. The location was fabulous for us as a family, but would also suit adult groups. We walked to lots of places, but it was a really short distance to the metro for getting further afield. The neighbourhood felt calmer than some of the tourist spots we visited. There were lots of food shops and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and we were happy to walk around with the children in the evenings. Chiara is one of the most friendly and welcoming hosts we have stayed with; from the time of booking she was responsive and helpful with any questions. She met us when we arrived, provided lots of supplies to get us started and we were able to leave our luggage on departure. Her hospitality, tips and recommendations really helped make our trip very special. Thank you! ❤️

Great stay, in a place that meets our expectations! in a great location, nicely decorated, very clean. Hosts who are very available, responsive, and have good advice. Shops and small cafes nearby, ideal for breakfast before starting a day of sightseeing.

Enzo is an exceptional host. Before our visit, he communicated clearly and often with instructions about check -in. I had some questions about amenities and within hours he had answered those questions. Upon arrival, the place was exactly as described. Extremely comfortable for our party of six. Safe area, comfortable beds, accessible to bus and metro lines. During our stay, we had one minor issue with some pillows. Enzo went above and beyond to get us replacements the same day. We loved our stay in Trastevere. First, Roberta is an excellent host. We were able to check in early, which was most appreciated after a long flight. She communicates very promptly and there was useful information in the apartment about the area. The apartment is exactly as is shown in the pictures. It is clean and comfortable. Everything was there to make a quick espresso in the morning before we set out for the day. Finally, Roberta’s place was just a short walk from the heart of Trastevere. This was perfect for us because we could walk to the great restaurants and hustle and bustle in a few minutes, but the apartment was nice and quiet at night for sleeping. Would definitely stay again!

We were very happy with our stay at Paolo & Franziska's apartment. It was exactly as indicated in the listing. It was very convenient to have a supermarket just next to the building. We also enjoyed that the bus and tramway stops were a walking distance from the apartment. The check-in went smoothly thanks to good communication from the hosts.

The apartment's location is unparalleled, literally one block from the Colosseum and very close to all the other attractions. Pamino is very friendly and the access is very easy. Highly recommend.
