Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rome

Wonderful stay! Everything is like in the pictures. The location is great, walkable to all the sites. We had a toddler in tow and walked to at least 4 of the major sites in a day. Restaurants and shops are right outside the door. The courtyard is perfect and quiet. Our son really enjoyed looking at the fish pond. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and we had enough linens and pillows for everyone. Everything was clean and tidy. Tv with lots of options for the kids and plenty of space to relax. Christian was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with an earlier check in which was great for our son after a long flight. Everything was smooth checking in and out. Great communication.

We stayed for a week and we loved the stay very much. The location is just perfect for visiting Rome. Everything is close. Good restaurants and breakfast place close. The balcony is absolute pearl, just fantastic to enjoy the Italian morning coffee and late night pizza with wine! The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at nights. I would stay again if visiting Rome.

Appartement conforme en tout points à l’annonce. Nedim a été très réactif et attentionné à mes demandes et questions. Très bon emplacement proche du métro pour se rendre rapidement dans le centre de Rome. Environnement un peu bruyant mais c'est normal pour un centre ville. Merci à Alissa et à sa maman pour leur accueil chaleureux.

A wonderful, up to date home. A great location with many sights and restaurants in a walkable distance. The ONLY ding to a great location is the people and street noise. A busy day visiting Rome and a pair of disposable earplugs will fetch you to sleep.

We loved our stay in Luca’s apartment. It was big enough for us and our 3 yr old + had everything we needed for our stay - fully stocked kitchen, comfy bedding, washing machine, air con/heating, good size bathroom & super fast wifi. The location of the apartment is so good. We think Campo De Fiori is the best place to stay in Rome. There is so much in Campo De Fiori + it is central to all the major sites - we went everywhere on foot & nothing felt too far. The apartment itself is in a beautiful, lively square, which has a couple of restaurants - super convenient for morning coffees & a quick bite to eat. It is lively until late on weekends, but this didn’t bother us & didn’t impact our three-year old sleeping perfectly through the night! I found it a fantastic atmosphere to get amongst when entering or leaving the apartment. Luca’s contact was also really good. Super responsive & everything you’d want from a host. We’ll definitely look to stay here again next time we’re Rome

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans cet appartement spacieux et fonctionnel.Nous avons ete accueillis chaleureusement et avec de bons conseils.L idee de la carte de Rome sous la nappe de la cuisine est excellente tout comme la carte des transports en commun.Le quartier est sympathique avec une pizzeria juste a côté tres bonne. Il y a un petit supermarché a 2 pas et un marchand de fruits et légumes juste en face.Nous avons tout fait a pied .Le Vatican est a 30 mns.Le centre historique a 40 mns.Le quartier est tres vallonné il faut prévoir de garder des forces pour remonter .La rue est assez passante comme dans toute grande ville .C'est vraiment une tres bonne adresse a retenir !

Their home, nestled on a peaceful hill, provided a serene escape while still being conveniently located with easy access to Rome’s ring road, making it a great base for exploring the city and beyond. The house itself was impeccably equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless long stay. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure staying at this lovely apartment in the Prati neighborhood of Rome for five nights. The location is fantastic – a truly nice and quiet area, yet with the convenience of excellent restaurants and grocery stores just a short stroll away. We especially enjoyed Fratelli Rossetti, a wonderful recommendation from Antonella! Getting around Rome from here was a breeze. We found it easy to reach all the major sights by bus or Metro, not to mention the Vatican City which was within comfortable walking distance. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable and it had everything we needed, whether we wanted to cook a nice meal or simply relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. Our host, Antonella, is exceptional. She proactively provided us with a wealth of helpful tips, which truly enhanced our stay in Rome. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

Super adresse ! un peu excentré de l'agitation de Rome ce qui nous convenait tout particulièrement mais proche de commerces et de restaurants et des transports en commun: centre historique de Rome accessible en tramway très facilement Petite maison charmante avec une jolie terrasse très bien entretenue Giacinto est un hôte très agréable , nous accueilli avec le sourire malgré l'heure tardive de notre arrivée , il a su répondre a toutes nos demandes et nous a donné de bons conseils Excellent séjour !!

Quel formidable accueil ! Nous étions pourtant en retard, arrivés à + de 22h , et Catharine a quand même pris tout le temps nécessaire pour nous faire visiter l’appartement, nous guider pour notre séjour, nous donner une grande quantité d’informations pour nos déplacements . Très disponible, très agréable. Nous n’hésiterons pas à contacter Catharine lors d’un futur voyage à Rome. Inger et Michel

Our stay was very enjoyable. This is a great location, so close to the Vatican. The area felt very safe and we enjoyed casual walks along lively and pedestrian only Ottaviano Street to St Peter’s square most evenings after supper. The immediate area has lots of great restaurants, we really liked Il Colibrí which was just a block away on Via Famagosta. The close proximity to Ottaviano metro station is a big plus and made it very easy to get to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain etc. Last but not least, Roberto was a great host, so pleasant, considerate and helpful.

Chiara’s spacious apartment is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. It felt like a real home from home during our stay; somewhere relaxed and cosy to come back to after exploring Roma each day. The location was fabulous for us as a family, but would also suit adult groups. We walked to lots of places, but it was a really short distance to the metro for getting further afield. The neighbourhood felt calmer than some of the tourist spots we visited. There were lots of food shops and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, and we were happy to walk around with the children in the evenings. Chiara is one of the most friendly and welcoming hosts we have stayed with; from the time of booking she was responsive and helpful with any questions. She met us when we arrived, provided lots of supplies to get us started and we were able to leave our luggage on departure. Her hospitality, tips and recommendations really helped make our trip very special. Thank you! ❤️

Super séjour, dans un logement plus que conforme à nos attentes ! idéalement situé, joliment décoré, très propre. Des hôtes très disponibles, réactifs et de bons conseils. Commerces et petits cafés à proximité, l'idéal pour un petit déjeuner avant d'entamer une journée de visites.

Enzo is an exceptional host. Before our visit, he communicated clearly and often with instructions about check -in. I had some questions about amenities and within hours he had answered those questions. Upon arrival, the place was exactly as described. Extremely comfortable for our party of six. Safe area, comfortable beds, accessible to bus and metro lines. During our stay, we had one minor issue with some pillows. Enzo went above and beyond to get us replacements the same day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this listing and this host. If you are considering a base in Rome with your party, look no further than Enzo‘s listing

We loved our stay in Trastevere. First, Roberta is an excellent host. We were able to check in early, which was most appreciated after a long flight. She communicates very promptly and there was useful information in the apartment about the area. The apartment is exactly as is shown in the pictures. It is clean and comfortable. Everything was there to make a quick espresso in the morning before we set out for the day. Finally, Roberta’s place was just a short walk from the heart of Trastevere. This was perfect for us because we could walk to the great restaurants and hustle and bustle in a few minutes, but the apartment was nice and quiet at night for sleeping. Would definitely stay again!

Eine sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem sehr angenehmen Viertel. Wunderbar ruhige Umgebung, eine ideale Ausgangspunkt, um Rom zu erobern und zu erkunden. Wir werden die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.

We were very happy with our stay at Paolo & Franziska's apartment. It was exactly as indicated in the listing. It was very convenient to have a supermarket just next to the building. We also enjoyed that the bus and tramway stops were a walking distance from the apartment. The check-in went smoothly thanks to good communication from the hosts.

The perfect place to stay in Rome! The location could not have been more amazing. Everything was clean. Check in was easy, and location is easy to find. Great host. All-around great!

Max est un hôte très agréable. Réactif et disponible, il nous a conseillé de nombreux restaurants. Le logement est très bien placé, a proximité de beaucoup de lieux. Plutôt assez calme malgré l'emplacement. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de prendre les transports en commun car tout peut se faire à pied. Il est propre et a les ustensiles nécessaire. Si nous revenons sur Rome, il est certain que nous reviendrons dans cet appartement. Je le conseille fortement.

La ubicación del departamento es inigualable, literalmente a una cuadra del Coliseo y muy cerca del todas las otras atracciones.. Pamino muy amable y el acceso muy sencillo. Ampliamente recomendable.
