Andrew was a great host, very responsive and even pre-stocked the kitchen with milk shortly before we arrived. His place was lovely and cosy, and just a short walk from the convention centre. Everything was completely spotless. The only potential issue I could find was that the single bed seemed relatively short compared to other beds I've slept in so that might be problem for some people. Having said that, I'm very short, so that didn't bother me at all. Overall, my friend and I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this airbnb listing.

Along with the other reviews, we found this a fantastic house in a perfect location. An historic pub just around the corner, walkable to the city, it had everything we needed. Paul attended immediately to a couple of minor issues and is a friendly communicator. My sister and I really enjoyed our week in York and it was great to return home to a comfortable house each day.

John is the perfect host. The house is beautiful and is home from home. John has great taste and is so helpful. The location is perfect for access to the Town. Highly recommended.

Lovely house very quirky as its old but withall amenities. Comfortable place to stay

Really nice place for 7 of us to get together for a reunion weekend. The house was comfortable with great decor and space to relax, plus room at the table for all of us. We found the heating a bit of a challenge and we were far too hot overnight (downstairs room, they struggled to adjust the radiator) but just turned it off completely on the second day. Lots of hot water and ample equipment, nice toiletries provided. It was inconvenient to have to meet beforehand to gain access, especially since there were roadworks nearby that caused a disproportionate delay to my arrival. Fortunately Beth's housekeeper was flexible around this, but, given that there is a key box, it seems an unnecessary complication. There was also a lot of "noise" before we arrived, in terms of instructions and rules for the property, none of which were onerous, just felt a bit unnecessary; but perhaps previous guests have been less than respectful in what is a lovely residential area.

Beautiful home in a historic building near Lendal Bridge. Great location for walking into town and also within short (7 minutes or so) walking distance from station. Everything was very functional and we wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great time staying at Hywel’s place. The check in process was super quick and simple and the house was beautiful, really cosy and homely. The place was super clean and had everything we needed and more! There’s also a fab collection of games to play on an evening in the living room. I didn’t know too much about the location prior to booking, however I was really pleasantly surprised. Marsden is full of gorgeous restaurants and cafes, and we were spoilt for choice finding somewhere for breakfast on the day we left and they were all really close by. Hywel is super friendly and has been really attentive, we would definitely come back! Thank you for having us!

A beautiful house in a great location for us as we were working at the conference center which is just a short walk away. A lovely large house with lots of space for everyone. It was lovely to have our meals all together round the big table in the kitchen. There are so many wonderful restaurants and coffee places all within walking distance and Harrogate is such a lovely town to walk around.

We had an excellent few days in monk bar court. The location is very central and close to Yorkminster. The Wheelwrights team were very helpful and responsive. Recommended.

A perfect place to stay when visiting the Brontë musuem! Great location, clean and spacious house with everything we needed.

We stayed at Raphie's place for 2 nights with our young sons, it was great. great location for walking to the park and to shops and restaurants. The house was lovely - beautifully decorated and lots of home comforts. Raphie had also left some lovely amenities for us to enjoy in the fridge! A great alternative to a hotel that made for a really enjoyable break - we would definitely come back again!

This property is ideal for a few days stay in the area. It's not huge but perfectly adequate for 2 adults. And an ideal base for visiting local attractions in the area. It is very good value for money. Trudi was a great host

We had a great stay at Roger’s place for a few nights. The location was brilliant only 15 minutes walk into York centre, local shops and takeaways nearby and a nice peaceful street. The house itself is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you could need, with a handy manual available with all the information inside. Whenever we had communication with Roger he was always prompt, helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone and we would happily stay again!

This is our second trip to Robs place. we really like the location as it is right on the canal and very quiet. We would happily stay there again.

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in York. It was very central, while still being in a calm area of the city right next to the city walls. Sarah gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our evening meal at skosh close by. The amenities in the flat were great, with comfy sofas and beds and a decent kitchen as well. There is also parking although we did not use this.

Lovely place. Easy to find. Close to the town. 15-20 min walk. Quiet area. Roof top terrace a nice bonus. Very clean and tidy. Lovely bed linen and towels. And nice touch with the crumpets. Butter. Tea. Coffee. Fresh milk and water. Loved York. Would 100% recommend to others.

Tiffanies property tick off all the boxes for me. Honest helpful honest host ready to help Lovely location clean and safe neighbourhood close to lovely shops restaurants supermarkets. Just a lovely clean neighbourhood and the best location. It is a lovely property. If you appreciate clean well maintained properties with fresh clean smell, lovely colours on the wall, nice real furniture, clean bathrooms that smells fresh that is Tiffany’s property. We had a wonderful stay, felt like home but at the same time it was classy and felt like a holiday for us even though we stayed for work . I will definitely rebook Tiffanies house with closed eyes. We loved our stay in this lovely cottage centrally located in Saltaire. The house was beautifully presented and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms extremely comfortable. We hope to return soon

A lovely place to stay - clean, tidy and an excellent location. The house itself has everything we needed and plenty of space for all of our guests. Being able to go freely in and out of York centre without needing taxis was also great. This was a great find - I'm really pleased we stayed at Celia's and would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Simon's Seagull Escape. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need including disney plus, kitchen appliances, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits! The seagul and seaside theme was throughout the flat and really made it feel like a beach holiday. The location was great- really close to the park, the beach, chippy and local amenities. Simon was really responsive and friendly. Check in instructions were super clear, making the process of collecting the keys really easy. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Scarborough.

First time booking with air b n b and this was a gem to find. Beautiful house with the little added extras. The beds were so comfortable. Great location being so close to all amenities and the train station. Great hosts, will definitely return x

What an absolute Gem Wonky Wilma is . Perfect location close to all the amenities. The house is spotless and Jen has thought of absolutely everything with lots of personal touches . The kitchen has everything you may need and a great space . The beds are really comfortable with a great nights sleep had by all . The heating is easy to use and very responsive . Thank you for the welcome basket which was a lovely suprise . Chase loved the dog treats too . Mark Chase 🐾 and I hope to return as it was definitely home from home .
