Perfect location for the Lincoln 10K - right by the starting line! The place was clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed for race day. It's a bit of a walk to the city centre but manageable. Couldn't find the hairdryer and host was a bit hard to reach, but pretty minor stuff. Would totally book again for next year's race! 👟

This was a working stay so location was a primary concern to get to and fro from the Newark Showgrounds. Parking was easy which is not the case will many accommodations. There were 2 pubs, one directly below the room and one a 2 min walk. The Inn on the Green had consistent hours and a larger menu. This was a safe community. For solo travelers this would be a great location.

Daniel was great at communicating and was really accommodating with us needing to check in early. The room was clean and tidy and served the purpose for us.

This was a wonderful stay, highly recommend to anyone. Although it’s in the hosts living premises, you have total privacy in the Elliott suite and the uninterrupted use of the pool and hot tub. The character in the Elliott suite is fabulous. There were loads of films available & also full access to smart tv Netflix etc. I felt so at home here & will absolutely come back! Lucy is lovely and a helpful host! Couldn’t recommend this stay enough!😍

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was great, and the area was quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and love to stay again in future

As soon as we walked in, we both went “Wow!” The cottage was beautiful - quirky, full of character and extremely welcoming. It was spotlessly clean and it had a lovely scent to it. We both felt immediately at home. Amanda was a superb host - very responsive and proactive with suggestions and good, local recommendations. The cottage was really comfortable - warm and cosy and the beds were very comfy too (the towels and bedlinen smelled amazing). The kitchen was very roomy and there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans, etc. The shower was spacious and easy to use. Each evening, after having spent a busy day exploring Lincoln and the surrounding area, it was wonderful to snuggle in to the warmth and comfort of the cottage! Kirton in Lindsey itself is a lovely little town and the location of the cottage was perfect. We were really sorry when our holiday came to an end and we had to leave. We absolutely loved it and we hope to be able to stay in Amanda’s cottage again in the future.
