We really enjoyed our stay at Cathrine’s! Everything we needed was provided and easy to use. Spacious and comfortable. Cathrine kept in touch offering any help if needed. Easy parking. The garden is a real sun trap with non-stop bird song. The house is very close to the Chesterfield canal and we had some nice walks on the tow-path.

We had a great weekend stay at Ryan’s place. The welcome bottle of Prosecco is a great added touch as well as recommendations for the area. The house was as described and is lovely and clean. The hot tub is a great bonus which was heated for when we arrived. The area is lovely and a short walk into town which has great restaurants and bars. We will definitely be returning!

This is a great location if you want somewhere close to Grimsby but don't want to stay in Grimsby. Helen was great as she gave us very clear directions as to how to find the place and was then there to meet us on arrival, showed us around the house and how everything worked. The house has been finished to a very standard. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we will book it again if we are back in Grimsby on business.

Debbie is a wonderful, kind and communicative host. We were welcomed with a smile and she talked to us about all the wonderful surroundings such as the pub and nature reserve just down the road. The lodge itself was clean and well presented and the hot tub was absolutely enormous! I’d absolutely recommend the Lincoln Retreat for a getaway and we will certainly be back again soon! All I can say is Wow! Victor has been an incredible host when we have had to leave our property due to a leak. Extremely attentive, checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, and brought us fresh bedding after the first week. The house looks exactly like the photos, lovely and clean. Felt like a home away from home! Victor was very speedy with his responses too. Thank you so much for making a very stressful time, a lot more tolerable.
