Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Washington County

Thank you Jackie for hosting our stay in Rhode Island, we really enjoyed our time there. The home is very cozy yet there is a lot of space so it was perfect for our dog to freely roam around. The home is located in a private and peaceful area but it’s not too far from towns and other sights to see. I would highly recommend for those who are looking for a nice place to relax in Rhode Island.

This place was perfect for a short getaway! Just a 15 minute drive from beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The space was clean, well-organized, and made us feel right at home. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot and humid days—truly appreciated! We would absolutely come back!

Michaela was a wonderful host! Responded in a timely manner and very accommodating to our needs/requests. All instructions were super detailed and helpful. The home is very clean, well stocked, wonderful ambiance that was home like. We didn’t bring the kids but was a kid friendly space. From toiletries to utensils and extra blankets, everything you needed was assessable. We could not have asked for a better location. Quiet neighborhood but close to all needed shops. Parking on the premises was perfect, close and safe. Overall a great place; we would stay here again easily!

The space was very clean and minimal, just as described. It’s perfect for anyone who appreciates simplicity and a clutter-free environment. A peaceful and comfortable stay.

My family of four absolutely LOVED Annie's house. It had so many nice touches like firewood for the fire pit, backyard games, and extra things like baby gates, bathroom toiletries, that made it clear the hosts are really thoughtful about their guests. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit, and how secluded it felt being right on the forest's edge even though you have neighbors to the other side. We also loved the outdoor shower, backyard games, all the kitchen equipment for cooking, and the unique touches of decor that are clearly from their travels. The beds were comfy and the pass to the beach was an incredible perk since parking elsewhere was tough on a popular beach day. I highly recommend this place to a small family, or even two (with the crib and gigantic room in the basement). Their recommendations they provided for things to do were great too!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!

Katie’s house was beautiful for our girls’ trip. It is extremely walkable to restaurants and the beach, and her home is well stocked and very clean and comfortable! No complaints at all!!!

Mary’s House is very charming and cozy! Mary was very attentive on our arrival day and called us to make sure that we knew where everything was and how everything worked upon our arrival. The unit itself was just as described and was actually surprisingly bigger than we anticipated. The location was a great jumping off point, walkable to downtown Westerly and many restaurants/shops. The beds and linens were comfortable and the house had everything we needed for our trip! The only feed back I have is that the photos on the listing don’t accurately show off the property! More photos would give future guests an even better idea of what the location looks like.

Was in town for a soccer tournament for my son and so happy to have found Christopher and Cynthia's home! The house was super close to URI, the quaint downtown and attractions. The home was a super clean, well-equipped, and in a quiet and beautiful setting. The place super cozy and had all the comforts of home. It was a wonderful refugee from the wet weather on the soccer fields! Thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us! Oh, and Benson (the dog) was a total bonus! 😊

We loved the location overlooking the bay. Very beautiful mornings. Only a short car ride from Newport. Elaine was very helpful and offered early check in and late check out proactively - very nice of her.

We loved the place! Gretchen the host was very friendly and responsive. She made us Irish soda bread which we love. Great location and peaceful even during the busy season. I especially appreciated the extra beach equipment available on location. Would definitely recommend and we will surely look into booking again for future visits .

Sadie is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a perfect stay in her beautiful property. The views were breathtaking and the constant breeze made for a perfect sleeping environment.

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were super friendly, and even called us the day we were going to check in! The place was spacious and clean, and was in a private, secluded area. It was a great place to just get away, but also close enough to drive to the beach. We had a great visit!

This will be our go to place when visiting Matunuck. Cozy place that was perfect for getting to the beach, restaurants, ice cream! Loved watching the hummingbirds visit the many flowers surrounding the place. Michael is always responsive. Perfect place, perfect host.

This air bnb was perfect for our 2 night stay in Westerly. It was clean with clear instructions for anything you may need during the stay. There is a coffee shop for coffee and breakfast sandwiches extremely close. It is about a 10 minute walk from downtown Westerly with a number of restaurants and activities to do. There was convenient parking at the air bnb as well. I will definitely book again with Vanessa in the future.

My partner and I just stayed at Anna’s place, quick Thurs-Sun getaway. Anna is super sweet and responsive! Check in was very. easy, walkable to everything you could possibly want or need. Quiet surroundings as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better kid free stay!

Nancys studio is practical, clean, well designed with nice coastal touches. Perfectly located near restaurant, lots of beaches, felt private and comfortable. Bed was comfy, linen and towels were clean and very soft. They have lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Would be nice to have some closet space or some sort of dresser to hand ur cloths. Overall, the space is great.

Patti’s place is perfect for a family who wants to be close to the beach! The apartment also has lovely porch that overlooks a water outlet. Very clean and just as described. The kitchen is decently stocked with dish ware, cookware, utensils, coffee machine, toaster oven, etc. If you plan to cook large meals, recommend bringing some larger pots/pans/Tupperware. We had an issue with the fire alarm which was handled within 5 minutes by the host’s brother who lives next door - so impressive how fast they got it fixed! Partner and I both worked from the apartment for one day and didn’t have any issues with the wifi. Great spot!

This was our first time on Block Island, so we had A LOT of questions & some learning to do. Without the host's fast communication, we would not have figured A LOT of things out. Rick made sure we were taken care of by going above & beyond at the last minute to accommodate some special requests. Thank you Rick for being so prompt on the AirBnB messaging app!!

A quiet and convenient location that made all parts of the area accessible!

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.
