Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Washington County

This was the perfect spot for my family of 4. Each girl had their own room. Plus, our Auntie could come stay with us. It's close to many locations we desired. Mystic, Stonington, Watch Hill and Beaches all within a very short commute. The full kitchen and grill made it more economical to host and eat in. The large table made for great dinners together and board games at night. We could walk to pizza and ice cream. It was a lovely stay.

Had booked a girls getaway at Tracy and Patrick’s place and it was perfect, even with gloomy weather! The house perfectly matches all pictures and descriptions and has everything you’ll need and more for the perfect relaxing and fun getaway! We even got a cute surprise visit from their furry friends which is always loved!! There are also shops and beaches a short drive away, we just didn’t happen to go visit because we were enjoying our cozy time at the home. Thank you again Tracy and Patrick:) we would totally recommend and want to come back!

My family and I were there for a wedding at Shepard's Run. The location was perfect, just 10 minute away. In fact, everything we attended that weekend was 10 minutes away. Michaela was very responsive, providing us with clear instructions and recommendations for things to do in the area. The house was spacious and immaculate. We felt like we were the first guests to stay there. It also allowed the seven of us to hang out together in the spacious kitchen and family room. We also had plenty of private space to get ready for the wedding. If we are ever back in the area, we will be sure to rent this house again!

It’s difficult to succinctly state how wonderful the experience is at the Grange Cottage. Aside from the peaceful and historical cottage, the hosts put it over the edge. Both Stephen and Dean were so friendly and made us feel at home. When you only get away from daily life infrequently, these little getaways mean a lot. Everything you read about the property and these hosts is true. The value is incredible for what you get. It’s a labor of love for these hosts and it shows. I just kind of hope it doesn’t get TOO popular so that I can book it again!

An amazing stay! I stayed here with 8 of my friends and we had more than enough room. The house was in a perfect location - walking distance to the ocean and only a few minute drive to Narragansett Town Beach. Diane was BEYOND helpful and extremely responsive to all of my questions from the day I booked the Airbnb. I highly recommend staying here!!

John was very responsive and cooperative. The location of John’s home is in a serene and amazing location; on a quiet cove that at overlooks Narragansett Bay.

Brian and Laura were awesome! Super accommodating hosts, even let me check in early due to guests getting in earlier than expected. Brian was kind enough to give us a quick tour of the home before leaving, and we got to meet his adorable doggo! The home itself was very clean, enjoyable, and overall just beautiful. They were very communicative hosts from start to finish and I would happily recommend this home to anyone! Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely come back. This little cabin was everything we dreamed of and MORE for my birthday getaway! It was clean and COMFORTABLE! We felt right at home! The water is so close and my daughter LOVED exploring the lake tide. We got to see different fish and their lake beds for breeding. The extra artists cabin on the hill was like a dream when it came to our second night. It rained and we were able to play board/card games on there and enjoy the sound of the rain passing by! We will ABSOLUTELY be back again and have already recommended it to many friends! Thank you Marguerite!! You are amazing and your Airbnb is a dream!

Good place to stay

The In-law apartment was lovely, exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Sean and Alison were proactive by providing all information ahead of time.

The perfect getaway/surf trip! Claude is so much more than your average Airbnb host: he is an amazing tour guide, he taught us the town history as well as showed us to the best surf spots nearby that we would’ve never found otherwise. Claude went out of his way to drive us to and from surf spots, and even dropped us off at the train station. Not to mention he made us coffee and muffins in the morning?! A joy to be around, Claude is everything you could want in an Airbnb host and more. I am so grateful to have stumbled soon his beautiful home, although the stay was short, it was so very sweet.

Steven could not have been nicer or more responsive. I needed a quick and simple place to stay while visiting my daughter at URI. Felt comfortable as a single female.

We had a great time! Spacious two bedroom apartment. Very comfortable for 4 people. Everything was clean and well maintained. Great location. Lots to do in the area and the host provided a number of recommendations. We heard footsteps from the upstairs neighbors, so if you're a light sleeper consider wearing earplugs. But overall, we were thrilled with the apartment, we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and would definitely considering renting again if we stay in the area.

The host Mrs. Fran is a great. She kept the house very clean. She responded guest request immediately. By accident, we locked out our room at midnight, I called her, she came right a way to open the door for us. Another guest requested a blanket at one night, the blanket was delivered with in half hour. We love this place. We will come back to this property for next summer vacation. Thank you Fran. Fabulous! A gem! The first-floor suite was perfect for our weekend stay. It was cozy and warm, with a zen-like peacefulness ~ enhanced by the fabulous decor and lovely artsy touches throughout the apartment. Clean, spacious, and thoughtful amenities. Easy in/out access and parking. John and Rob are very responsive to any questions you might have ~ usually reply within a few minutes. Provided great recommendations for breakfast/brunch restaurants. As an unexpected bonus, there is a great coffee/sandwich/pastry shop within walking distance. Highly recommend ~ if I could give MORE than 5 stars, I would!
