Very clean and renovated place. Location right off Route 1. Easy in and out getting to beaches in Narragansett. Very nice outdoor furniture. Sharp knife set and nice cutting board! Quality products used for linens and comforter/ apt furnishings. Bed was comfy. Air conditioning was nice, worked well. All the kitchen essentials were there, bowls and pans, cooking utensils, etc.

Confusion checking in due to host being out of the country on vacation. Lovely apartment recently remodeled. Extremely clean and private.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is immaculate and cozy. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Suzanne and Dan are warm and welcoming. We hope to return soon! :)

Great location to stay - walkable to Downtown Westerly (good restaurants), short drive to local beaches, and an easy 40 min drive to Point Judith (Block Island Ferry). Very clean with everything we needed. Free breakfast voucher was a huge bonus (and delicious). JP was very prompt and responsive.

The In-law apartment was lovely, exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Sean and Alison were proactive by providing all information ahead of time.

Can't beat the location or cost. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax by the fire with a view of the lagoon or enjoy some yard games for kids and adults. Tom is very kind. He manages the property well, keeping everything clean and stocked. This is the place to stay anytime of year!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It had everything we needed & there were fresh flowers which was such a nice touch. John was also very accomodating in allowing us to check in early. We appreciated that so much. Definitely recommend this place!

We know this property having stayed there over many years. The new owners have done a wonderful job renovating and restoring it decorating the apartment to a very high standard whilst retaining the period features. The kitchen and bathroom have been fitted out to a very high standard with high quality fittings and appliances. The furniture in the sitting rooms is modern and comfortable. The bedroom is a generous size with the bathroom en-suite. There are AC units throughout. We had our own area of the lawned yard with BBQ, chairs, table and Adirondacks all overlooking the tidal salt pond. We utilised this area a lot during our stay. The owners who live on site were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly recommend this property which is only a few minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Wickford yet very quiet and peaceful.

Extremely clean, close proximity to downtown. Definitely would stay here again.

We loved our stay in this charming old cottage! It was super clean and comfy, having two big decks, one facing east for sunrises and one facing west for sunsets. Too bad the weather wasn’t on our side this time, but I can only picture how awesome those decks must be in better weather. Inside, the beds were nice and cozy, and there were plenty of extra quilts, pillows, and towels. Honestly, the place is even better than the photos, lots of room to relax. Everything’s just a short walk away, beaches, restaurants, and shops. Our host Pat was great, too, showing us old photos of the cottage and filling us in on its story through the years. Thanks you Pat & Tom for a great stay!

This place was fantastic! Loved the proximity to the beach, George’s, Block Island ferry and more!! Such a hidden gem and will definitely be back! Karen and Peter were excellent hosts and always responsive if we had any questions. The apartment was so cutely decorated too!

Alise's place was the perfect spot for my family and me this past weekend. It had plenty of room, each bedroom had its own bathroom, was perfectly clean and the location was fantastic. We used it as overflow space for a family gathering in the Burroughs and the location couldn't have been any better. Right across the street from where our family lives and walkable to all the venues we were at: SHYC, Breakwater, Indulge and Dogwatch. Simply perfect. And Alise was the nicest most responsive host. Now that we've discovered this spot we will certainly be back for our next family gathering!

This will be our go to place when visiting Matunuck. Cozy place that was perfect for getting to the beach, restaurants, ice cream! Loved watching the hummingbirds visit the many flowers surrounding the place. Michael is always responsive. Perfect place, perfect host.

Staying at Susan’s Cove Retreat was an absolute treat. My girlfriend and I stayed for fives days and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We watched birds, squirrels, and chipmunks every morning. Awed at her beautiful flowers and just took in the tranquillity of the place. Amazing location. Close to Newport and the little town of Wickford with a cute down town. We got to chat with Susan a little while we stayed and enjoyed hearing about her story. If you’re looking for a little get away, a peaceful night, or a really comfortable bed come to the Cove Retreat. We’d love to come back!

This stay was wonderful. Everything I expected it to be and Diana was so helpful on getting us settled in and helping us navigate the surrounding areas. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a older home but was very nice despite it's age. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the Stonington area. The location could not have been better for us due to the fact we needed to go back and forth from New London to Stonington and Mystic between the two.

Joan was very responsive. The Airbnb was clean, in a safe place, all amenities were available plus extras. It was walkable to Narragansett town. So much to do. Beaches, shopping, restaurants. It was a great trip!

Bigger inside than expected, it suited our needs perfectly and six adults were very comfortable. It was clean and cozy with everything that we needed and the area was nice and quiet.

only did not give 5 stars for the price because.. everything is expensive everywhere.. which is sad..because rising costs will deter people from visiting .
