House vacation rentals in Val de Louyre et Caudeau

I booked the hamlet to celebrate my birthday surrounded by my friends and it was a great idea! The hamlet is a wonderful place where the only close neighbors are the crickets in the fields that surround the buildings. The renovation of the three houses is of high quality: beautiful materials, beautiful paintings, objects and furniture... here everything is beautiful! And without taking anything away from comfort: impeccable bedding, spacious bathrooms, super-equipped kitchens. The pool (if the weather is nice) is a real paradise and we spent beautiful afternoons there. Communication with Laure was particularly smooth and I had all the information I needed for a smooth stay. Finally, we were totally quiet with my friends during this beautiful week: no neighbors nearby. In short, the hamlet of Périgord is an enchanting place to which I already think I'll return! We stayed with our 2-year-old son at Patricia's for 5 days. The animals and the whole property with pool were ideal for the family. It was nice, quiet and the animals very (especially the dog) very tame. Patricia herself is an exceptional person, extremely hospitable and helpful. She even drove me to the pharmacy in the next town to pick up my medication. Thanks very much again!

We had a fantastic stay at Maël's place. It is the perfect place to switch off and relax. We travelled with our two small children who enjoyed the pool and games rooms. Maël has thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay for a family and was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place is top class. The house is absolutely lovely, beautifully furnished in a way that feels both traditional and homely. The location is stunning, a gorgeous commune surrounded by other lovely little towns with lots to see and do. The pool and the garden are fantastic, so nice that we actually ventured out far less than we had originally planned. Our daughters, aged 4 and 2, wanted to move in permanently! Last but not least, Andy and Jacqui are the perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday since having kids and we are so, so pleased we chose here. We would love to return.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

The word that comes to mind is simply PERFECT We have been traveling a lot on Airbnb for 20 years, Florence and Fred's accommodation is the one that allowed us to really recharge in a few days. A real peaceful outdoor area set up for relaxation, an impeccable house where nothing is lacking, lovely hosts and good advice for visiting the surroundings. The location of the accommodation is perfect for visiting the main sites. The only regret we have is having to leave Thank you so much, Florence and Fred We'll be back as soon as we can

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

Incredible stay, ideally located next to shopping areas, quiet neighborhood and lots of greenery. Perfectly decorated bathroom with a terrace overlooking the sunset.

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

A great stay at Murielle's! Big thanks for the warm welcome. We found the house to be very beautiful, well maintained and very clean. The outdoor spaces are remarkably beautiful with the beautiful flower beds maintained… the children enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Everything was perfect: we found our home base in Dordogne!

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Great place to stay for a relaxing break, but plenty to do onsite - shared pool for the gites, table tennis and a tennis court. Owners and property manager very helpful and responsive with any queries

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

We had a great time with the family at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden not overlooked, provision of games… everything to have a good time! And the real plus: a bathroom and toilet per bedroom. Thank you for this beautiful stay, enjoyed by young and old.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Gite. The Gite was lovely and more than met the needs of the four of us. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather and being able to use the pool and relax in and enjoy the grounds helped make this a perfect stay. Fabi and Steve were wonderful hosts, and gave us lots of helpful information. They responded quickly to any queries we had. We highly recommend this property and hope that we will be able to visit again sometime.
