It’s all been said before but La Petite Burnie really is a gem. A lovely restoration of an old barn, really well equipped and with endless outside space so you can find the sun at any time of the day. Above all a really generous and welcoming host. Thank you Christian.

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amandine was so welcoming and helpful making many recommendations. The property is in a lovely location and offers amazing accommodation that feels very homely. With a hot tub and pool you are spoilt for choice. Only 10 mins from Sarlat and 15 mins from Domme it is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Highly recommended

Very nice place to stay in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses smell nice and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

I booked the hamlet to celebrate my birthday surrounded by my friends and it was a great idea! The hamlet is a wonderful place where the only close neighbors are the crickets in the fields that surround the buildings. The renovation of the three houses is of high quality: beautiful materials, beautiful paintings, objects and furniture... here everything is beautiful! And without taking anything away from comfort: impeccable bedding, spacious bathrooms, super-equipped kitchens. The pool (if the weather is nice) is a real paradise and we spent beautiful afternoons there. Communication with Laure was particularly smooth and I had all the information I needed for a smooth stay. Finally, we were totally quiet with my friends during this beautiful week: no neighbors nearby. In short, the hamlet of Périgord is an enchanting place to which I already think I'll return! Thank you!

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Steve was very helpful always available to answer any questions. The place is a paradise and great walkways, views etc. His caretaker, Pascal, helped us check-in and offered to help…. Even set us up for a day of kayaking not mention and really great guy.

Beautiful rental in an idyllic setting. We immediately felt like we were on vacation! The place is perfectly kept by Martine, the pool made our children happy, and there are plenty of things to do in the area to please parents! Recommended!

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

We had a memorable week at this stunning Dordogne home. We felt looked after in every way, the house is really beautiful filled with quality appliances, linen, towels and stylish interior design. The garden was full of flowers, the setting is magical we absolutely loved the outside dining, the breakfast room and the well equipped kitchen. Views, hot air balloons drifting by and a walk to the chateau up above us was amazing. Highly recommend Sandrine and Franck have created a home away from home. Would love to go back. Lyne and Pascal have furnished the house with style and attention to detail. Everything from the linens to saucepans was a pleasure to use and we had the most relaxing stay. After 5 days it was difficult to drag ourselves from the bucolic view so we’re already thinking of when we can return.
