We travelled from Australia to be with our sons and their partners, who both live abroad, for Christmas. Patrick and Jacqueline’s place was so perfect for us. We felt completely comfortable and so at home. The area is beautiful and lots of places to see and things to do. We cooked at home most nights and the kitchen is great for that. The wood stoves in the kitchen and living room kept the house so wonderfully warm. We definitely would recommend Patrick and Jacqueline’s place. Thanks to both of you.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Florence. Elle est très accueillante et de bon consconseil quand aux activités environnantes. Le logement avait une âme qui nous a permis de passer un séjour familial de belle qualité. Le petit feu de bois est un petit plus très appréciable. Veronique's house, situated in the small village of Montagrier, is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and is well kitted out. As we were only two people, some of the house was shut off, but it's huge and we had masses of space. We didn't make use of the swimming pool or garden as the weather was just turning during our week there, mid-September, but we did enjoy sitting out on the terrace for breakfast. Veronique was quick to answer any queries we had before our stay, and Jemma, her concierge, was there to greet us, show us around when we arrived, and available if we needed anything. This is a beautiful part of France (I spent my childhood here and love it), but it's worth noting that from September, local activities like bike hire, guided walks, canoeing etc, are all closed until next summer and restaurants - particularly the one in Montagrier near the house, are offering limited service. Nevertheless we had a great time and Veronique's house is a lovely place to stay.
