Vacation rentals with a balcony in Southern Europe

Had a great stay at Massimiliano’s apartment. Large and clean space and a great deck with view of Duomo. Location very central as well. Would recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb in Porto! The home was designed so beautifully, it gets such lovely natural light throughout the day, and the hosts were very hospitable about cookies, coffees, wine, etc. We already know that we will be staying at this location. The next time we come to Porto!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment is well furnished and in the middle of Valencia. Whenever you want entertainment, just walk out the apartment straight into the bustling city scene. The apartment comes with a well equipped kitchen, fridge, espresso maker, nice balconies, and very fresh bed linens and pillows. The floor seems to be recently redone and gives a very nice and new feeling. There a few inconveniences - which are rather minor given that this is an awesome 5-star place. Maybe still good to mention them: There are 52 rather large steps to get to the apartment and there is no elevator - it takes a while to get used to the ascent. We slept great but it is rather noisy until 1am. Various musicians stop by the restaurant in the same building (San Tommaso, highly recommended, best pizza in town). After closing, around 1am, the San Tommaso staff moves the tables inside - a noisy undertaking. Still, this is a great place to experience a great city.

A picture perfect place! Marko’s home is beyond beautiful and was a perfect place to land after a busy day of exploring. Yes, there are A LOT of stairs to climb as you make your way back from old town but you’re rewarded with stunning views from an absolutely perfect balcony. If you don’t feel up for making the climb a taxi/ uber is very affordable from the town center. The apartment itself has everything you’ll ever need and is perfectly situated. Peaceful, quiet, yet close to everything. Easy check in and easy checkout. Thank you, Marko!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The space was beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail—everything felt so thoughtfully curated. It was clear that Rut had considered every little thing we might need before we even thought of it. The location was perfect and felt very safe, which made the experience even better. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. Rut was a fantastic host—responsive, welcoming, and made the entire stay seamless. I’d definitely stay here again!

Staying there was wonderful. We were only a couple, but there were enough rooms for two couples easily. For us, everything was perfect—the view into the theatre (which actually had 3 performances while we were there), the closeness to the walkable city center, and the personal interaction with the gracious, attentive hosts, who live in the same building. There are flights of stairs to the place, and a few interior steps to one of the bedrooms—this was nothing for us, but would not be right for some people. The place is large, well decorated, with amazing lighting, and views. One of the most special places we have been in, and we have traveled a lot.

Great location! So close to everything, including restaurants, duoro river, Porto Cathedral. The apartment has a great view from the veranda. Cristina was very responsive to our questions.

David's place was absolutely stunning! Not only was it beautifully decorated, but it was also spotlessly clean. David and Giulia were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay - they even went above and beyond to arrange a sitter for us when we needed it. Everything exceeded our expectations - we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed this little pearl. We should have brought friends to enjoy the great garden, bar and bbq together. Since we were here with a baby we didn't take the most out of the lovely accomodation but really everything we needed for our little one was there, just perfect. She loved the toy tower :).

What a wonderful experience! The description of the home was excelled by the reality. It was very clean and tastefully decorated — Anna has an eye for design and art. the three bedrooms easily accommodated us. The large patio with its charming table and vine screened roof was a charming place to enjoy our morning cappuccino. the home is situated in a agricultural community built in 1788, situated in extensive vineyards. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated into a series of private homes. The community contained renters like us, but also young communities and older retirees. We had a chance to get to know people in the neighborhood, who were uniformly friendly. the AirBnB is about 25 minutes away from Arezzo by car. The best place to park we found was in the short term parking at the train station. From there it was just a short walk to the Old Town. Anna was a wonderful and charming host. We recommend this property highly!

Amazing villa, don’t hesitate to book it! It is a luxury property with lots of modern features, in the perfect location, peaceful and quiet with stunning countryside views but only 20 mins walk to Florence city. Karin the host is very helpful and friendly and she has thought of everything to make it a special stay for guests. 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

We absolutely loved our stay, sadly didn’t get to meet Manuel as he wasn’t available for the check in, but he was extremely responsive throughout the stay. The villa is gorgeous and absolutely huge, bbq is a great touch and we too full advantage of the kitchen utilities. Only issue was lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and that wifi doesn’t quite reach all places in the house. We would stay again.

It was the best place we have ever been! Such a beautiful house, peaceful, magnificent interior, helpful host! We definitely want to come back 🩵

As noted earlier, we loved your home! Very comfortable and we loved all of the windows. Would definitely recommend it to friends traveling in this area of Portugal!

We had a great stay. It’s a great place if you are a larger group or a big family.

It really was just as beautiful and romantic as the pictures. The view from the balcony was phenomenal, apartment smelled and felt so clean the whole stay. The apartment had pretty much everything you could need in it. The owners were so proactive keeping in touch with different recommendations and letting us know beforehand what’s happening in the city as different protests took place + a big conference started mid stay. We felt taken care of. It was an amazing place to stay at, would definitely visit again!

Couldn’t ask for a better location! Alberto is an amazing host who let us check in early to go sight seeing. Amazing restaurants and bars right near the flat. Highly recommend!

Here’s review: We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Rome. The apartment was located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which was a lovely escape from the busy city center. It was walking distance to all of the major tourist sights like trevi fountain and pantheon. It was about a 20/30 min taxi to Vatican. The space had everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond and ready with great recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this enchanting oasis, where peaceful tranquility enveloped us at every turn. The location, just a leisurely stroll from the beach, made it the perfect getaway.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night!
