Vacation rentals with lake access in Southern Europe

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

We loved our stay in Besse-sur-Issole. It was the perfect spot during our trip—peaceful, charming, and full of local character. The Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for walking everywhere. One of the best parts? The croissant from the local boulangerie—hands down the best we’ve had so far in southern France. We really enjoyed walking into the village square each morning, grabbing coffee, and popping into the little shops and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and authentic. A great stop if you’re looking to enjoy a quieter side of Provence. We took multiple day trips, super easy from this cozy retreat. The Gorge du Verdon is a must. We had fun visiting Canne, Antibes and Nice. Great day trips, best was coming back to Besse. Thank you Helene and Roxane. We loved Berg….❤️. Thank you!!

Beautiful location, private and serene, Maria Lurdes is a fantastic host. She took time to show us around and explain the local culture and towns. The house is beautiful with so much space for games, gym, office space, living area is spacious for large groups. The river is right in front with easy access. Will definitely go back again to enjoy the house and Maria’s great hospitality. Would easily give the place 6 STARS out of 5!!!!

Jovica and his family's house has an amazing location and an amazing pleasure area. We made the right choice to stay here. It was a wonderful experience to be by the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean and very attentive. Jovica and his family welcomed us very warmly, helped us a lot and made us feel at home. We had rented a car but it was great to have a meat and fish restaurant right behind the house and a restaurant with delicious shellfish just a short walk away! There is also a small market within walking distance of the house for basic needs. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy the sea during the day, the stars at night and the beauty of Kotor Bay. Awesome stay A true haven of peace

We needed to enjoy a quiet moment, to rest for a long weekend of three days. The listing at this address seemed ideal, the reviews all unanimous… well… it's even better than we could have hoped for. The loft is very comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, rare cleanliness…the best thing is the little touches all around you. The exterior is also very neat, swimming pool, jacuzzi accessible at any time and private, there is everything you need to feel good. Well, we could go on for a long time with the superlatives… breakfasts… meals…massages… but the icing on the cake is the hosts Anne-Lise and Frédéric… whose kindness and discretion complete this perfect and timeless moment. We absolutely loved our stay at Isabel's apartment in Porto! The location was perfect—right in the heart of Ribeira, just steps away from the Douro River, iconic bridges, and charming cafes. Waking up to the view of colorful houses and the river was unforgettable. The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—fast Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, and even some local treats waiting for us (thank you, Isabel!). The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure (a big plus after long days of exploring). Isabel was the perfect host—responsive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She gave us insider tips on the best pastel de nata spots, hidden miradouros (viewpoints), and even a fantastic fado bar that wasn’t touristy. If you’re visiting Porto and want an authentic, central, and delightful place to stay, don’t hesitate—book Isabel’s apartment! We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you

Nikos’ apartment was an important factor that made our short stay in lovely Kastoria a wonderful experience. Its view is amazing, the studio is spacious, new and modern decorated, equipped with everything and more you need and super clean. Nikos was very communicative and offered us late check out which was really helpful for us. I would come back to Kastoria and to Nikos’ apartment again and I highly recommend you to do the same!

We loved this apartment. The view from the balcony is wonderful - we spent hours watching all the activities and wildlife on and around the lake. The apartment was just as listed, spotless, comfortable, with everything you could need... such a great place to stay - wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

We LOVED our stay here! The view from the balcony was definitely our favorite part but the rest of the space is so nice too! Everything was super clean, the beds were comfortable and it was so peaceful! We also were able to walk everywhere which was so nice! Franz was so kind and such a good communicator we would absolutely recommend staying here to everyone ☺️

What a wonderful location being quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nature totally surrounds you and the bird life is amazing. The house was spotless and very comfortable with many nice touches. There is a lot to see and we particularly liked the Passage du Gois and Noirmoutier. Plenty of good restaurants and if you like seafood you will be in heaven. Thoroughly recommend and your host is very welcoming.

One of the most beautiful views I have seen.

We were warmly greeted by Alain and Clair on arrival – they couldn’t have been more welcoming, and their kindness really set the tone for our stay. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a real escape from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for us was sitting and looking out at the river and waterfall right next to the property – the view was stunning and the sound of the water was so soothing. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. The cottage is really nicely decorated with lots of space and the garden is really fantastic. The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. There was a delicious homemade bread ready with jam and a bottle of wine. Very thoughtful.

The lovingly renovated house is perfect for anyone who loves nature and the garden, is looking for peace and relaxation and yet wants to get to know the Algarve. Communication with Jan is quick and straightforward - we had the best time with him during our vacation.

An unforgettable place, ideal for recharging your batteries. The "private" beach is a plus, except that it would be nice to remove the old boats that are no longer in use. The house is perfect! Lourdes is very welcoming and attentive. I will not hesitate to pass this address on to my friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful nature bubble! The cottage is very nice, over-equipped and tastefully decorated!! The welcome was also very friendly, we already want to go back 😊
