Tower vacation rentals in Southern Europe

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! Thank you for a memorable stay xx

I stayed in the tower at Giovanni’s place. It was a serene getaway. The views were great. The town was wonderful. I rented a car, so I was able to use this as my home base. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay in this Airbnb listing! Location was just perfect - centrally located, yet quiet. The description of the place was completely accurate, and we found everything exactly as it was described. Communication with the host was also outstanding. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

What can you say about staying in a castle :) Although it is 1000 years old it is really modernised so your comfort stay is assured. We were situated in tower which has a lift that takes you directly to your room, so it is quite private entrance. View and interior is really beautifull. People are kind.

A beautiful place away from any home and a warm host. The mills are in very good condition and clean. Noted however for families and friends: there are no doors in the mill and the sofa bed area is not suitable for adults (small / no box spring, floor mattress). Sleeping in the pool house is not ideal either and would deserve renovation. The place is really suitable for 4 adults with children but not for 6 adults like us:) Of course, we recommend this place where we had a great vacation

Great accommodation! We went with our little dog and were very comfortable. The house is very cozy and the garden is very well cared for. It's great to have peace of mind, and very good communication to go see other villages. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Andreas' house with a total of 4 children and felt very comfortable and at home every day. Andreas responded to the few requests on our part lightning fast and very friendly and was always able to help us. I would come back anytime and in a heartbeat! Thank you very much Andreas!

Owners, Tower, Location…let's start with the Owners, Mrs. Sara and Mr. Giuseppe…to call them very kind and polite would be an understatement! They are "special"! Of disarming kindness! Always ready to please you in everything, to advise you what to visit, where to eat and everything you could want. Always with a contagious smile! And not because they "have to" do it," but simply because they are like that... they give you everything they have inside... and they really have a lot! My girlfriend and I never thought we could meet such "good" people, especially in today's world. They didn't know what to do to please us anymore. In the Tower, we found everything from chocolates on the bed to very soft bathrobes. Much more than a 5-star hotel! The Tower is fabulous and the view is indescribable! Living in the sea and falling asleep hearing the waves against the rocks. Everyone should try a vacation like this at least once. Everything was perfect! Thank you, thank you and thank you again❤

It was fresh in Essertenne, too cold for the season. We did not sit outside and then it is very nice that everything is very well taken care of inside. Two great sofas, a nice bed, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Because it was blowing too hard, we couldn't use the fireplace, we got an extra radiator to warm it up inside anyway. Beatrice tipped us a good restaurant where then enjoyed a lavish Burgundian lunch. In short, we had a nice time at Essertenne!

Our family loved the house. Great vacation! The owners were very helpful and provided very clear information for everything. We would recommend this place to all of put friends!

Mafalda’s place is such a wonderful and unique stay. The converted windmill is so well equipped and the space utilized perfectly. The view from the property is beautiful, and having a morning coffee on the deck with sea views ans birds chirping was such a great start to our day! The property is in a great location for a quick drive or a walk to the waterfront, restaurants and the natural swimming area. Mafalda is a very thoughtful and most caring host. She made sure to check in to see that we were able to find and get into the place okay and even left a lovely welcome basket. Mafalda also sent recommendations of things to do around the island and place to eat and how far away they were, which was very helpful! Thank you Mafalda!

Torben and his mom were really very kind and friendly to us, they allowed us to stay for a magical night in the Tower, yes, it's a real tower! The accommodation is beautiful, it makes you feel in a unique place in the peace of mind, we will be back;)

Very nice accommodation, a car is required to visit the surroundings. It was very pleasant! We enjoyed the calm and the pool. Frederico advised us to go to Ceglie Messapica for dinner instead of Ostuni (more touristy). We ate very well and at a low price. ☺️

We had a great time at Erwan's! An absolute highlight of our trip. The mill is exceptional and Erwan is great. We would mist definitely visit again. Next #time we'll come when the weather is good!

Staying at Debora’s historic tower was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the tower’s stunning architecture and rich history. We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the top, offering a panoramic glimpse into the surrounding landscape. The interiors were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Debora was an outstanding host, offering a warm welcome and insightful knowledge about the tower’s history and the local area. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing great recommendations for local dining and activities. Her hospitality truly made our stay special. This is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience.

It was beautiful, easy access to the beach, and restaurants. You can do boat tours, in that location. I would recommend this castle.

Terracina is a beautiful town and the location of this Appartment in the historical center is amazing. There arw many small restaurants in the vicinity and the access to the beach ocean is beautiful.

We had a very nice stay in the attic. The building is superb, very well renovated and maintained. Frédéric was a great host and advised us on great activities to do in the area. We'll be happy to go back!

Everything as described, I recommend the overnight stay.
