Windmill vacation rentals in Southern Europe

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! Our stay was great. Not only the quiet, yet central location convinced us, but also the outstanding hospitality. Since we were the only guests, we were able to use the entire facility. Dimitris gave us very good tips for activities and restaurants and was immediately available when there was a small problem. The farewell gift we received on the day of departure was a touching surprise. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment.

Jean Marcel is an excellent host, a great welcome. The night at the mill is a unique experience, to be redone!

Wonderful place to stay with family, children especially would find the place delightful, with old parts of the mill decorating the front yard and providing an interesting diversion for the kids. Place is thoughtfully constructed and furnished by superb hosts Nuno and Cristiana. Would recommend without hesitation.

Unique accommodation in a 100 + year old mill with mill decor partially preserved. Beautifully located with great views. Sandra received us with great warmth and generosity. We had wishes to see more mills and Clotilde was very helpful. A home we are happy to recommend.

Great stay, they were very kind and helpful. They also help us send our packet left there accidentally. We are completely satisfied with everything and can only recommend it.

João was always quick to respond to any questions I had. He was very accommodating with letting us check in or out depending on our flights. The island is so peaceful and enjoyable! The kids lived the friendly neighborhood cat who would say hello everyday as we were coming or going. We enjoyed this once in a lifetime stay! You can walk to the mini mart, the beach, and several restaurants! It's a perfect spot!

My Husband and I stayed in the Windmill for our honeymoon and it was absolutely magical. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. the home itself is super well equipped with everything you need. It is decorated so lovely, makes you feel right at home. Michel who greeted us at check in was lovely and very informative. Julie was also extremely polite to communicate with. We had a great time at Erwan's! An absolute highlight of our trip. The mill is exceptional and Erwan is great. We would mist definitely visit again. Next #time we'll come when the weather is good!

I had such a nice experience at the Windmill! It is really well designed and very unique. The hot tub was great and I liked having the outdoor terrace space. The property is just a short walk from the main street in Oia. The manager, Jason, is excellent! He was very attentive and helped me with any questions I had. The provided breakfast was also very good. Also, I didn’t experience any tremors from earthquakes.

Great place!! When all ferries were cancelled due to strong winds, we needed a place to stay asap as our other hotel had no more availability. Giorgos was extremely responsive and helpful in putting us at ease of his availability and flexible check in times. Although the winds caused us to miss our trip to Naxos- this windmill stay although last minute and not expected- was extremely cute and enjoyable and now is a potential candidate for our future trips as we would definitely stay here again! Bad weather and cancelation led us to find and experience this great place!!!

We spent 5 wonderful days in the Christos windmill, furnished with care and elegance despite the small spaces. The windmill is unique as a location, great for relaxing and enjoying a breathtaking view, outside the downtown casino, but at the same time 5 minutes from the restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. The host was very kind and thoughtful. I hope to go back!

This place is so cute and we were so excited to stay here! We were here in February and failed to miss the note that there is no heat. That was OUR fault and not Sabrina's. We were still comfortable and charmed by her place. She put plenty of warm bedding out for use and we both slept very well there. I would love to spend more time there in the warmer months. Sabrina was great and went out of her way to make it possible for us to stay there.

You can only say woooowww to the place and Petra and Dietmar. The warm late reception, the cleanliness....yes the cleanliness and that must be mentioned *****+. The mill is as described and shown in the pictures. Everything is available and "thank God" not overdecorated... just right to be able to feel comfortable. The whole mill and grounds are great. The kitchen lacks nothing. The bedroom is really cozy and spacious. The beds are great (except for the bright lamp by the bed, but that's a matter of taste). Not too soft mattresses (especially two single mattresses), 2 pillows for everyone and overall perfect. The bathroom is really good, especially the shower. Also the possibility to wash laundry: in the machine, Petra starts it and later takes it out herself, all in order. We would keep coming back....stay as you are and please stay healthy. Conclusion: we enjoyed it and felt at home.....Thank you*****

The Indigo Windmill was an experience to remember. Andrea is an extremely generous and gracious host. The accommodations were incredibly well thought out and had every convenience I could have asked for. The outdoor area is incredible and well equipped so I didn't have to carry things down to it. A couple of my friends from Lisbon joined for a day and we had more that enough room to enjoy. They were beside themselves when they saw it. The spa was hot and clean. The bike rental is convenient and the lit path to the beach is a gem. The town itself boasts convenient markets, great food, and a quiet easy attitude that made me feel right at home right away. Andrea checked in with me, offered suggestions, and had a great personable way about him. It is easy to make memories in such a wonderful space and I am grateful that Andrea chose to share it with me.

Ana was a very good host! The windmill is located in a wildly romantic area. Central location to the sea.
