Earth house vacation rentals in Southern Europe

It's a great place in the middle of nature. It's a great place to enjoy nature, rest, and relax. We had a great time and hope to visit again soon. To let other guests know what to expect, it's a house in the middle of nature. It's not unusual for there to be a lot of animals, big and small, inside and outside the house. It is also quite normal for animals to be active in, on and around the house at night. And it's not normal for there to be water and electricity in such a place. We had no problems during our stay, it was always available. But we also wouldn't have had any problems if either one had been temporarily unavailable. The landlords have also taken appropriate precautions. If you don't mind such things, you'll love the place. It would be unfortunate if this beautiful place received bad reviews because people struggle with it and have unrealistic expectations. Therefore, I thought it would be beneficial to bring this matter to attention.

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

Excellent accommodation. Clean and well arranged. ++lots of appliances for an excellent stay 😁 Quiet. Surrounded by meadows. Serenity and relaxation. Communication is perfect. Would come back again...

This home is absolutely a gem! Very luxurious and comfortable in a lovely peaceful, natural setting. Even in winter or early spring, it is good to stay here. Ibiza is a small island, so basically everything is easy to reach. A car is a must, but the roads are very passable despite the many mountains here. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back😃. This was one special stay! This cave is a sacred and cozy spot full of an amazing energy. The place more spatious than it seemed in the pictures and super comfortable with everything you need inside. It didn’t take long for us to feel at home. The hosts were very responsive and detail-oriented, providing us in the cave with all things you may need to make you feel right at home. You definitely need a car to move around as there is nothing really within walking distance. But we love the quietness and remoteness of this space. It has a beautiful terace where we chilled and made a grill, and also a terace on top of the cave where you have an amazing view of the region and the ocean. We spent two weeks there and this cave made our stay 10 times more special! Thank you so much 💚

This place is so beautiful. The views are incredible. It is spotlessly clean and in a rural setting. Just make sure to bring warm clothes if going outside of summer. I will definitely return someday.

This is one of the best airbnb we’ve had so far. The pictures don’t give justice to this amazing villa. Serena and Alfonso are amazing welcoming and generous hosts and all the little extras were really appreciated. Very well equipped and comfortable place. Thank you for everything we will be back :)

The level of attention and detail provided by the team was unparalleled. I felt as though we had a private concierge on hand for anything we needed. Stunning space, the type of home you don’t want to leave. Bravo!

Beautiful location, we had a great Time!

It was a wonderful stay. Unfortunately we don’t speak French but we had a very good time, visited small beautiful villages and one day we went to Aix. In the lodge you have everything you need and more. It is beautifully decorated and very nice situated. We loved the calmness and the atmosphere. Thank you so much. If we come back to Provence we will stay here again. Can warm heartedly recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved this place! The pictures and description of the home was accurate and Jose Enrique was a great help throughout our stay. We loved the outdoor area and had great communication with him whenever we needed anything. While it is a bit far away from the city it is completely worth it for some peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

We were very comfortable and felt right at home, we loved the accommodation, I'm sure we'll be back. Joaquin was very helpful. We spent a few days out of 10 ☺️

Paulina was a great host, very proactive and making sure we felt home and didn't need anything. The apartment was simply amazing. It was very private with great nature all around to get the typical "provence feeling".

We had such a lovely stay at Mare's home in Dubrovnik. It was absolutely perfect for our group of three. First the location was superb...right in the old town with just right distance from the shops and restaurants...still only 5 min walk! Second, the property was pristine and clean and the set up (one bedroom and full bath for each of the top two floors) ensured privacy for all. Finally, Mare is a superhost in every sense--communication was always clear and prompt and Mare was incredibly helpful with making arrangements, giving advice,and helping with luggage! Hiighly recommend this great property in a beautiful city with an amazing host.

It was a great stay. Beautiful, restorative, simple and relaxed. It is a great little place to stop and check out. We enjoyed the home, the land and all the people we met. The cats were very friendly and the family was as well. It is very peaceful and beautiful!

The accommodation itself is secluded, very quiet, small and simple, very tastefully decorated. Nevertheless, it was never too cramped or unpleasant to stay inside. A fire in the fireplace and it's already cozy. The kitchen has everything you need. Coffee, tea, spices are waiting for you. It's not easy to get to the place, I was glad I didn't have to go up by car, but it's doable if you drive slowly. We walked and were able to discover so much of the exciting flora and fauna. Anthony and Zineb are very warm people. They were always friendly, approachable and helpful. Nevertheless, they always maintained privacy. The grounds, the home that the two of them have created there is stunningly beautiful. We were always amazed and couldn't get enough of it. The incredibly lovingly prepared breakfast basket got us through the day and we looked forward to it every day.

Absolutely wonderful stay, in a peaceful and private location. Jay is fantastic, the best host i've ever stayed with and the two cats who live on the property are so cute, always coming and going and wanting to be petted. The moment you check in, you feel at home and comfortable. Not a single thing is not as in pictures. Top, top place to stay and rest, i hope to return one day.

Wonderful stay, very quiet farm and extremely cozy house. Highlights include the fresh fruit orchards, the friendly horses, the amenities of the different spaces of the property and the company of the two female dogs Guadiana and Mimosa. Very available and attentive hostess. Memorable sunrise among the fruit trees.

The Riad is super well placed in the medina and remains quiet. Restaurants, tourist places, supermarkets, everything is close and can be done on foot. We were able to leave our luggage before the scheduled time. Alice is very responsive and has answered any questions we may have. Mohamed also welcomed us very warmly. The rooftop pool is great. We had a great time!

Getting to the place is adventurous. Thanks to the very good description, however, no problem. Eusebio is very helpful, thank you. We had a great barbecue and discovered the film scenes in the area. Had a great time

We can really recommend spending some time in Hobbiton! Our little hobbit hole was so cute and cosy, it felt like being in one of the LOTR-movies! The hot tub was a big plus, even when it took many hours to heat up, we enjoyed spending a lot of time in it. Especially in the morning or after the sunset, when it was colder outside. Inside we had everything we needed for two nights and it was all clean and the interior done with lots of love for the details. The hobbiton is still in growing and we would be interested to see how it develops. The area outside of it is not much to see, but the hobbit cave has enough to offer just to enjoy your time there. Marija was all the time very fast in answering if we had questions. Would recommend if you want to experience some LOTR in real life!

The accommodation is very beautiful and pleasant, the kitchen is perfectly well equipped, the environment is beautiful. Sébastien and Angélique are very welcoming, responsive, accommodating and warm. The few small constructive comments were taken into account. We had a very pleasant stay. 🙂
