Tower vacation rentals in Southern Europe

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! Thank you for a memorable stay xx

I stayed in the tower at Giovanni’s place. It was a serene getaway. The views were great. The town was wonderful. I rented a car, so I was able to use this as my home base. Would definitely stay here again!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser Airbnb-Unterkunft! Die Lage war einfach perfekt - zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft traf voll und ganz zu, und wir fanden alles genauso vor, wie es beschrieben wurde. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen!

What can you say about staying in a castle :) Although it is 1000 years old it is really modernised so your comfort stay is assured. We were situated in tower which has a lift that takes you directly to your room, so it is quite private entrance. View and interior is really beautifull. People are kind.

Un lieu magnifique éloigné de toute habitation et un hôte chaleureux. Les moulins sont en très bon état et propres. A noté toutefois pour les familles et amis : il n’y a pas de portes dans le moulin et l’espace canapé lit n’est pas adapté pour des adultes (petit / pas de sommier, matelas au sol). Le couchage du pool house n’est pas l’idéal non plus et mériterait une rénovation. Le lieu est vraiment adapté pour 4 adultes avec enfants mais pas pour 6 adultes comme nous :) Nous recommandons bien sûr ce logement où nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances

Un alojamiento muy acogedor y con mucho encanto. Ideal si tienes pensado venir a relajarte y hacer rutas por la zona. La casa tiene un jardin super bonito y esta todo muy limpio. La anfitriona muy maja y me dio recomendaciones. Repetiré seguro.

Wir haben 2 herrliche Woche im Haus von Andreas verbracht mit insgesamt 4 Kindern und haben uns tagtäglich sehr wohl und wie Zuhause gefühlt. Andreas hat auf die wenigen Anfragen unsererseits blitzschnell und sehr freundlich reagiert und konnte uns immer weiterhelfen. Ich würde jederzeit und sofort wiederkommen! Vielen Dank lieber Andreas!

Proprietari,Torre,Location…iniziamo dai Proprietari, la Signora Sara ed il Signor Giuseppe…definirli molto gentili ed educati, sarebbe riduttivo! Loro sono “speciali”! Di una gentilezza disarmante! Sempre pronti ad accontentarti in tutto, a consigliarti cosa visitare, dove mangiare e tutto ciò che si può desiderare.Sempre con un sorriso contagioso! E non perché “devono” farlo, ma semplicemente perché loro sono così…ti danno tutto ciò che hanno dentro…ed hanno veramente tanto! La mia fidanzata ed io non pensavamo mai di poter conoscere persone così “perbene”, soprattutto al mondo di oggi. Non sapevano più cosa fare per accontentarci. Nella Torre, abbiamo trovato di tutto…dai cioccolatini sul letto, ad accappatoi morbidissimi. Molto più di un albergo a 5 stelle! La Torre è favolosa e la vista non è descrivibile! Vivere nel mare ed addormentarsi sentendo le onde contro gli scogli. Tutti dovrebbero provare almeno una volta una vacanza così. Tutto perfetto! Grazie, grazie ed ancora grazie❤

Het was fris in Essertenne, te koud voor het seizoen. We hebben niet buiten gezeten en dan is het heel fijn dat binnen alles heel goed voor elkaar is. Twee prima banken, een fijn bed, goed uitgeruste keuken en badkamer. Omdat het te hard waaide konden we de open haard niet gebruiken, we kregen een extra radiator om het binnen toch gezellig warm te krigen. Beatrice tipte ons een goed restaurant waar vervolgens een overdadige bourgondische lunch hebben genoten. Kortom, we hebben een fijne tijd gehad in Essertenne!

Our family loved the house. Great vacation! The owners were very helpful and provided very clear information for everything. We would recommend this place to all of put friends!

Mafalda’s place is such a wonderful and unique stay. The converted windmill is so well equipped and the space utilized perfectly. The view from the property is beautiful, and having a morning coffee on the deck with sea views ans birds chirping was such a great start to our day! The property is in a great location for a quick drive or a walk to the waterfront, restaurants and the natural swimming area. Mafalda is a very thoughtful and most caring host. She made sure to check in to see that we were able to find and get into the place okay and even left a lovely welcome basket. Mafalda also sent recommendations of things to do around the island and place to eat and how far away they were, which was very helpful! Thank you Mafalda!

Torben e sua mamma sono stati davvero molto gentili e cordiali con noi, ci hanno permesso di alloggiare per una notte magica nella Torre, si, è una vera e propria torre! L'alloggio è stupendo, ti fa sentire in un posto unico nella pace dei sensi, torneremo ;)

Très beau logement, une voiture est nécessaire pour visiter les alentours. Ce fut très plaisant! Nous avons profité du calme et de la piscine . Frederico nous a conseillé Ceglie Messapica pour souper au lieu d’Ostuni (plus touristique) nous avons très bien mangé et à faible prix ☺️

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Erwan! Eine absolutes Highlight unserer Reise. Die Mühle ist aussergewöhnlich und Erwan ist super. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das nächste #Mal kommen wir bei gutem Wetter!

Staying at Debora’s historic tower was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the tower’s stunning architecture and rich history. The tower itself is like stepping back in time, with its ancient stone walls and period furnishings, yet it boasts all the amenities one could need. We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the top, offering a panoramic glimpse into the surrounding landscape. The interiors were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Debora was an outstanding host, offering a warm welcome and insightful knowledge about the tower’s history and the local area. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing great recommendations for local dining and activities. Her hospitality truly made our stay special. This is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience.

It was beautiful, easy access to the beach, and restaurants. You can do boat tours, in that location. I would recommend this castle.

Wir hatten wirklich einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Alles war perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich atemberaubend. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein. Emanuele ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell zu erreichen. Auch Check in und Check out können nicht unkomplizierter verlaufen. Wir können es also jedem aus vollster Überzeugung empfehlen! Sehr gerne wieder!

Nous avons passés un très joli séjour au sein du pigeonnier. Le bâtiment est superbe, très bien rénové et entretenu. Frédéric a été un super hôte et nous a conseillé de chouettes activités à faire dans le coin. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
