  • An unbelievable stay. The apartment is everything you think it is + more. Jennifer a formidable support in all the extent of the word. 10/10

    Nabille2020-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful getaway from the cold midwest winters. A fabulous location with easy access to the downtown area. A beautiful, comfortable condo with everything we needed for our stay. Close to the trolley and walking areas when we wanted to get in our steps. We felt safe with excellent security and a very gracious hostess. Thank you, Jennifer for making our stay so enjoyable. Until next time....

    Jane2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very impressed with everything - great location, spacious clean apartment, great patio, modern amenities, and plenty of natural light! Jennifer was prompt and super welcoming on check in and responsive to any questions I had prior to and after I arrived. Highly recommend and plan to stay here again myself!

    Zak2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • GREAT Location, within walking distance of most of the Gaslamp district. Safe, underground parking. Electric grill on outside balcony-- so much fun!

    Allan2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Where do I begin?? First, Jennifer was a fabulous hostess. She was very quick to respond and a total pleasure to deal with. Her condo was spotless and exactly as advertised (maybe even better than advertised!!) The location is in the heart of the Gaslamp. We walked to the baseball game, all the tourist sites and attractions. The building was great! The pool and gym was terrific and the lobby is very cool. We also liked the security, both in the building and also in the garage. We had coffee on the balcony every morning and watched SD wake up. The unit was so comfortable and well appointed. Also loved having a full size washer. We were so sad to leave but plan on definitely coming back next year for a longer stay. Thank you Jennifer for a GREAT experience!!

    Jody2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place, in a great location, in the heart of the Gaslamp. I had the most amazing time there. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Also the host Jennifer is the best! I really recommend it to anyone.

    Ana Leticia2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Could not have asked for better from both Jennifer and her condo.

    Hisham2019-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice condo right in the center of Downtown, modern and nicely furbished, loved it. Lots of shopping, nice restaurants and nightlife (some noise there in the evenings and nights but nothing some earplugs couldn't help with) I felt safe being alone. Jennifer is a wonderful host, very reactif and helpful if necessary. Had a great time. Recommend it highly.

  • Megan was very helpful and her place was very nice !

    Monica2020-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this place is excellent. From the initial contact with the host to the clean, stylish, and very comfortable apartment. Megan responds immediately and works hard to accomodate any need or request. She is perfectly professional and still extremely friendly. The washer and dryer inside the unit is extremely convenient. Also, the bathtub is larger than most so my wife was able to relieve some stress with a comfortable bath. This rental is probably one of the best values on Airbnb San Diego and we would definitely stay here again.

This modern and funky unit is approximately 850 square feet. Experience true city life - It's located seconds walk from the worlds famous Gaslamp Quarter (full of bars and restaurants,) San Diego Convention Center, the Ralphs Grocery Store, Horton Plaza Shopping Center or the Padres Major League Baseball Stadium. The unit is a one bedroom one bathroom suite that can sleep up to 6 people. *** Please note we've just hired a new, more thorough cleaner, to better serve our guests.
The space has a stylish modern N.Y. feel with hardwood floors. Enjoy a large amount of space just steps from restaurants, bars, and clubs. The unit has one queen bed, one futon, and one couch. (We also have multiple air mattresses available.) I consider this one of the best space for a gathering of great friends or work colleagues coming to enjoy the Gaslamp and everything that San Diego Downtown has to offer. The unit sits at street level in an urban neighborhood. It is noteworthy that each of the large glass windows (seen in the pictures and virtual tour) have blinds that allow you to see out during the day but prevent people passing by from seeing in. In addition, there are drapes that can be pulled over the blinds to block out the light and add additional privacy. The commercial style front doors are frosted with sheers in front of the doors. A few of the amenities includes: forced heating and air conditioning, 42” Plasma TV with Firestick. (Netflix + Hulu Access.)
Location, location, location!! We are just 1 block away from the Gaslamp and 3 short blocks to the Convention Center. Ralphs supermarket and Jimbo’s are just up the street. Downtown San Diego can get noisy on the weekends and some evenings.
  • It's a beautiful clean place for you and your loved one for a romantic evening.

Located in a historically-designated 1887 building that meets all your modern amenity needs, our private rooms are in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter – usually the center of the nightlife district, but at present a quiet street. We are conveniently situated near several grocery stores, restaurants doing take out, banks/atms, and just a few blocks walk to the waterfront.
Our building has a community vibe with a shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. However, as long as the current virus situation persists, we have enhanced sanitation and distancing protocols in our commonly shared spaces. While our dorms are set up to sleep 6, during the virus outbreak, we are limited capacity to 3 people, so each person has the full bunk bed set to themself. In addition to our existing privacy panels, we can set up an additional curtain for you. Also available is a free luggage storage during your stay, laundry facilities and lots of smiles (behind our masks).
The Gaslamp Quarter is one of the historic centers of San Diego. Originally developed in the 1800's it was home to gambling dens, brothels and saloons. It eventually earned the nickname 'The Stingaree' supposedly due to how 'stung' you could get there and fell into disarray. In the 1980's the area underwent a revitalization and is now home to dozens of restaurants, pub, wine bars, shopping and clubs. Restaurants are reopening the final week of May,

Gaslamp District 1. Live Music: The Gaslamp Quarter is the center of San Diego’s live music scene. Representing a wide range of musical genres, you will surely find a melody that moves you! Check out the House of Blues for big name acts, Croce’s Restaurant and Bar for jazz, The Field Irish Pub for lively drinking music, Sevilla for South-of-the-border musical flair, or Dick’s Last Resort for classic rock on their entertainment stage every night of the week. Florent, Patrick’s II, and Gaslamp Tavern are also popular venues for a diverse group of local music. 2. Shopping: One could spend days browsing unique boutiques and specialty shops along the Gaslamp Quarter’s 16 blocks. Visit G-Star to fulfill your denim dreams or Eyes on Fifth for a new pair of shades. Two floors of specialty wines are available at The Wine Bank Inc. and there are travel bags galore at Le Travel Store. Quicksilver Boardriders Club, Puma, and Oakley provide San Diego with all our sporting good needs. 3. Nightclubs: Unleash your inner dance goddess/god at one of the district’s many incendiary nightclubs! From local fav Stingaree to the ever changing interior of FLUXX to the underground electricity of Belo or Red C, the Gaslamp District is the ideal place to let loose and party the night away. 4. Festivals/Block Parties: Gaslamp Quarter is home to many popular festivals throughout the year including Mardi Gras, ShamROCK, Halloween Time, and the San Diego Film Festival. Locals look forward to June when the Taste of Gaslamp festival allows participants to explore and sample food from several restaurants in the district. The Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade is not to be missed in December! 5. History: This National Historic District was founded in 1867 when Alonzo Horton bought the land for $256. It contains many Victorian-era buildings and a rich history, some of which is of a less-than-wholesome nature. After becoming a red light and gambling district for sailors in the early 1900’s, a massive preservation and redevelopment effort in the 70’s and 80’s transformed the area into the internationally renowned destination that it is today. Take a walking tour of the Gaslamp, featuring local historians and reflections of its diverse past are seen throughout the area’s architecture. 6. Horton Plaza: A five-level architectural marvel, Horton Plaza is downtown San Diego’s retail sanctuary. Macy’s and Nordstrom’s are the massive complex’s featured department stores. With a movie theater, event space, diverse dining options, a gym, the Lyceum Theater, and even a dog park, this is much more than just a mall! 7. Petco Park: Located at 19 Tony Gwynn Way, the beautiful Petco Park is one of San Diego’s newest traditions. Opened in 2004, this uniquely-designed home of the Padres offers state-of-the-art fan amenities and spectacular views of San Diego Bay, the San Diego skyline, and Balboa Park. Integration of the historic Western Supply Co. building and the grassy “Park at the Park” that slopes above the outfield are only a few of the features that distinguish this spectacular baseball stadium. 8. Searsucker: Celebrity Chef Brian Malarky has opened 5 ultra-popular restaurants throughout San Diego including his the mega-hit, Sear sucker, which is located in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Time Magazine named it America’s #2 hottest restaurant! Featuring an open kitchen and airy design, Sear sucker serves local seafood with local lagers and ales. 9.San Diego Convention Center and San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau: The San Diego Convention Center is the city’s premiere, award-winning facility for major conventions, trade shows, meetings and special events. Situated along the harbor just a short walk from the main Gaslamp area, the attractive complex is a steward of San Diego with a commitment to sustainable practice and community leadership. In the same vein, The San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau works extremely hard to bring “happiness” to locals and visitors alike. 10. Harbor Cruises: The many cruises around San Diego Harbor offer scenic escapes away from the bustle of the city. You can eat and drink in style aboard a pleasure ship while enjoying the freedom of the water. For the more audacious, Pirate Ship Adventures provides the opportunity to join a buccaneer crew and participate in swashbuckling activities while exploring the Harbor. 11. Civic Theater: Catch a Broadway show, an opera, or a ballet at the San Diego Civic Theater, the region’s largest performing arts and community gathering center. Opened in 1965, the theater contains 2,967 seats and a chic interior. 12. The New Children’s Museum: Visitors and locals with children can think, play, and create at the innovative New Children’s Museum. This dynamic educational environment celebrates kids and the language of art, providing a safe space to learn and grow. The environmentally sustainable facility consists of galleries, interactive exhibits, open studio space, and an Arts Education Center. 13. Lucky’s Lunch Counter: Though new to the scene, Lucky’s Lunch Counter has quickly become a San Diego favorite. Themed like a retro Chicago lunch counter, the eatery serves traditional, high quality diner fare all day long. Located just across from Petco Park, Lucky’s is the perfect place to catch a meal before or after the big game! 14. The Trolley: Cars and taxis are not necessary here. The Gaslamp Quarter is conveniently located along the San Diego Trolley Orange Line. From San Ysidro to Santee, downtown’s entertainment district is easily accessible via an efficient and comfortable trolley from all over San Diego. 15. Copley Symphony Hall: Home to the San Diego Symphony, this multi-functional facility was originally The Fox Theater movie palace, built in 1929. State-of-the-art digital sound and lighting capabilities have been installed in this continually updated venue, but, rest assured, the original look of the lobbies and performance chamber have been preserved. A full-sized Robert Morton pneumatic pipe organ and two carbon-arc film projectors are featured within the performance chamber. This symphony hall is not just for music though, it can accommodate comedy shows, corporate and civic events, and film screenings. 16. The San Diego-Coronado Bridge: Though not directly in the Gaslamp, this stunning structure provides an amazing backdrop to the neighborhood. Majestically arching over the bay and linking downtown San Diego with the resort city of Coronado, The San Diego-Coronado Bridge is a local landmark. Its two mile length is uniquely designed as a 200-foot high curve to accommodate the large Naval ships that pass underneath. The bridge’s eastern support pillars are located in Chicano Park and feature the largest collection of Chicano art murals in the world. I highly recommend taking the ferry to Coronado Island for the day and renting electric bikes to check out the island. 17. Segways: Explore the Gaslamp Quarter aboard the latest in electric, two-wheeled personal transportation technology, the Segway! History and culinary tours can be experienced aboard these fun and quirky vehicles. Quickly maneuvering down the sidewalk by leaning back and forth is the best way to navigate Gaslamp’s many blocks. 18. Seaport Village: Just a short walk from the Gaslamp, along the scenic San Diego Bay, sits the waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment complex of Seaport Village. Cobblestone pathways, ponds, lakes, fountains, and tropical landscape wind through a plethora of architectural styles housing a variety of boutique shops. Everything from San Diego souvenirs to high-end apparel and art galleries can be found in Seaport Village’s 54 shops, 13 casual eateries, and 4 fine dining restaurants. Musicians and street artists inhabit this nostalgic seaside village year-round and an 1895 antique Charles Loof carousel is another major attraction!
  • This is a cool loft setup in what would be a very popular, hotspot for nightlife and restaurants if the city wasn’t on lockdown from the Rona. However it was still nice. It’s right on the cusp of an area of town that has a homeless problem so I did see quite a bit of camping out around the building but I didn’t have any issues overall she had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Very comfortable bed, nice size tv and huge floor to ceiling windows to look out over 8th ave. I would stay there again for sure! Thank!

  • This place is great, my wife liked it very much, we would definitely recommend it for long and short stays. The neighborhood seems safe, the location is perfect. It was rather quiet except for Friday and Saturday evenings. The kitchen is well equipped (there is even a dishwasher), it was warm in the bathroom, there is a washer and a drier in the apartment. The apartment building is very nice and clean, smells very good. The area around the bed is nicely carpeted and there is a lot of space to put your stuff around the bed.

  • This was a good spot, walking distance to many things downtown. It was a bit of a bummer to not have an assigned parking spot however, there is a garage across the street that was very easy to access and not too expensive for an overnight stay. Definitely a good spot to explore the downtown from

  • Josh was a great host! It was quiet, clean, and great location! Would definitely recommend.

    Leigh2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Josh's place was exactly what I needed when I recently went to San Diego for a weekend conference. The room was cozy, quiet, and had a spacious closet area as well as a ironing board and iron. There is a little folding table in the room to get work done, and it's right off the full kitchen (no microwave), so making tea is easy and there is a Starbucks and Grocery Outlet around the corner. Great option if you are looking for an affordable place with all the comforts of home. Josh is very quiet and accommodating and I barely saw him after check-in. It was about a 25-30 walk to the conference center and 10 min by rideshare.

  • Great stylish/modern place in the heart of gas lamp. Many food locations surround the area, and activities as well. Highly recommended for couples. Parking may be a hassle, so i suggest just parking in the parking garage for $15 a day just for safety/certainty. Overall, it was a great experience!

  • Location was great, 10-12 mins walk to convention center. Easily walkable to gaslamp restaurants and bars. The walls were a bit thin, could hear conversations from the neighbors. Checkin/out was easy, though housekeeping came 10 mins early. She did wait politely.

    Robbyn2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great appartment in top location ( Gaslamp) close to restaurants. Inexpensive parking should you need it. Thoughtful touches like toiletries, washing powder, coffee and extra towels really added to our stay. Enough kitchen equipment to cook meals. Spacious, with a nice balcony. We were able to store our bicycles without them being in our way No hesitation in recommending this place

    Fiona2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The company is very responsive to their customers. It has a balcony in the 8th floor, which gives you a decent view East of the city. Very clean and safe location. It's right in the center of all the action. Something that others would be aware of is the parking situation. I didn't know, but here is a heads up to anyone that doesn't know that parking in busy City is not free. There is a parking structure next door, which is nice. Parking on the street is free from 8pm until 10am and free all day Sundays. Be aware of street cleaning days.

It has its own TV and can be locked up . You can chose either the bedroom or the living room to be your space and I will take the other to be mine. I have another vacation home where I stay a lot and I travel a lot . So I wont be at the condo everyday. When I am not staying, you can enjoy the whole condo at a price of a room:) Since I might stay, I expect you to be a female only:))
  • I had such a hectic work schedule and staying here was a dream. Ting is so respectful and thoughtful and just the best person to share space with. Apartment is so clean, which was very important to me. And what a great location. You can’t go wrong here.

  • I had a colleague stay with Ting for a couple of months. The feedback was; Exceptional hospitality, great location, very homely. I’d definitely recommend

    Aaron2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • My wife stayed with Ting for about a month and really enjoyed her time there. The unit was very clean and modern. My wife stayed in the bedroom while Ting stayed in the living room and this seemed to work out very well. Ting was a great host and would recommend her and this property to anyone looking to spend some time in beautiful San Diego!

    Ian2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ting was very hospitable and the location was very nice. The condo itself was very clean and had all the basic amenities needed. A bit noisy at times from the trolley stop right outside but that is to be expected in a downtown city environment. Overall, a great affordable choice for those open to sharing the space sometimes!

Completely remodelled 1bd/1b unit located in the heart of the Gaslamp. Directly overlooking active 5th Ave, this unit is *literally* seconds from the best downtown has to offer in food, drink, and amazing nightlife. Short walking distance to the Convention Center, Petco Park, Seaport Village, and Little Italy. The unit is also just a 10-minute drive ($12 Uber) from San Diego International Airport!
The unit has been meticulously updated featuring contemporary brown oak cabinetry, mocha marble countertops, and hardwood flooring. The complex also offers a full pool, hot tub, and on-premise gym.
This is one of the most desirable complexes in the downtown area - with dramatic views of beautiful downtown San Diego and in the heart of the action and within walking distance to grocery stores, library, Petco Park, restaurants and of course, night life.
  • Wonderful place, exactly as pictured. Although we did not get to enjoy the usual entertainment in downtown because of social distancing orders, we had a beautiful view of the city from the living room with tons of natural light and a nice breeze. It made quarantine a bit more bearable. :) Anya went above and beyond to accommodate us given the situation. Highly recommend this location and HIGHLY recommend this host!

    Leticia2020-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Anya's space is beautiful and clean. The location is right in the heart of the downtown gaslamp quarter. There are tons of restaurants and attractions nearby. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The amenities in the building are an added bonus!!

    Ashley2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Cute place with an even better location!

    Tracy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Anya is an AMAZING host and her place is FABULOUS! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She could not be more hospitable or accommodating. I was attending a conference at the Convention Center and it was the perfect location — just a few blocks away. There are a bunch of great restaurants all within walking distance. The space is comfortable and the building was very secure. If you’re looking for a place to stay, don’t look any further - book and stay in Anya’s beautiful place. Thank you for everything, Anya!

    Abby2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location at the heart of downtown San Diego. Apartment is a cosy and comfy place to sleep in. Some street noise during weekend nights but that’s only because of the bubbly night life in the area. But it’s not too loud that you can’t sleep. Weekdays are pretty quiet both day and night time. Lots of food choices and some nice shopping options along 5th ave. There’s flea market along 5th ave on Sunday too. I can’t stress enough what a fantastic area it’s located. Loved the location. Host is fantastic with her prompt response and help to my many queries. Apartment has all the amenities that you’d require (wifi, Netflix, refrigerator, washing and dryer machine etc). Highly recommended!

    Seow Keong2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Anya's place was great! Very clean, stylish, plenty of natural light, modern, comfortable, I would definitely stay there again if I came back to San Diego! Very convenient location with lots of restaurants/cafes/bars nearby and the convention center is only a ~5-10 minute walk away (and easy to find). The building is secure, the parking spot is a plus. There is some mild street noise at night the week (didn't prevent me from sleeping at all but someone sensitive might want to bring earplugs). I WISH I had a chance to try the hot tub but there is one in the building. Anya herself was very quick to respond and super nice. Great experience!

    Amelie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described! Great experience.

    Darren2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

We highly suggest taking advantage of the parking available through the host, it’s literally at the front door and far less expensive than the garages nearby. Really cool space too that had a great vibe to it. So quick to drive to seaworld or the zoo and an easy, 5 minute walk to restaurants, Starbucks and bars in the gaslamp.

  • Great place. I got the master with attached bathroom so that was great.

    Deepak2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jad was incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I had booked a room at a nearby hotel and that place was NOTHING like advertised, reeked of smoke and I did not feel comfortable or safe. So I had to last-minute book a new place and that’s when I found Jad’s place. I immediately booked and asked questions, and Jad was very responsive and timely. Even though I was wary of things (due to the last-minute booking and lack of research), Jad assured me I would be safe and comfortable while giving me an opt-out, and his kindness and hospitality was genuine. When I arrived I found a clean room, where I felt comfortable and safe and private and best of all, relieved. Relieved to have found a safe and reasonable place to stay for very last minute. The complex has a gated and decorated entryway, so staying there even felt a bit high-end. The bedroom door had a lock on it but only for when you’re inside, which I was grateful for the safety. My things were not touched while I was gone and I believed nobody entered the room while I was not there. There are homeless people around but honestly not like any other city, they really do keep to themselves and if you do talk to them, they are friendly even. I never felt followed or harassed in the area, which is something I tend to notice when staying in an area with homeless people. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would definitely stay again.

  • I stayed at the listing for one week and it was a great stay. I needed a place to stay during the shelter in place, and although that meant I didn’t get to enjoy the bars and restaurants in the gaslamp neighborhood, I was more than comfortable in the unit. The kitchen is stoked and clean. The living space is comfortable. I was working so I pulled out the table as a desk during the day. The patio is relaxing in the evening. The first night I had to get used to the street noise a little bit, but after that I didn’t notice it. I think this would be a great place to stay for weekend trips or long term stays for visitors looking for a great home base in this area.

Renovated, private studio on 2nd. floor featuring AC, a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom and a beautiful rooftop terrace with a grill. Perfectly located within walking distance to our famous Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center, beautiful beaches and many other attractions. East Village is east of downtown and can be NOISY with the trolley running in front of the building. There are also some HOMELESS people around but 830 Park is still the BEST VALUE in Downtown.
Located at 830 Park Blvd. on the 1st. floor, (no elevator) this newly renovated, fully private studio is super clean with ceiling fan, all new furniture, fixtures and appliances. It features air conditioning, a queen bed, private bathroom, a full kitchen with stove & oven and free internet service. For your enjoyment I also provide a rooftop terrace for our guests to relax, enjoy the views of downtown or take in a little sun. If you like to cook your own meal, there is a gas BBQ and a small sink and tables available to use. There is also a coin operated washer & dryer out back of the building to the left inside the small shed and the trash is to the right in the north alley. PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING : Please READ THE LISTING & REVIEWS carefully in regards to NOISE and the HOMELESS ISSUE. Overall, I receive high ratings from many happy guests for my location, value, cleanliness and customer service. I want you to choose the right place for you to enjoy your stay away from home. There is NO PARKING available on the property. Street parking is $1 per hour from 8AM – 6PM and free overnight and on Sundays & Holidays. (4 hours max. and watch out for time & street sweeping restriction signs) There are also some private surface parking lots around the building for longer term parking.
830 Park is centrally located on 830 Park Blvd. in East Village, on the East side of Downtown San Diego. All main attractions like the Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park stadium, the convention center and City College are within walking distance. (all max. 15 min.) But keep in mind that this is a downtown location and can be NOISY at times with the trolley running right in front of the building. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BOOK! East Village is up and coming and like with many other inner cities, Downtown San Diego is dealing with a certain HOMELESS issue. Currently there are still some HOMELESS people in our neighborhood. However, there are many young professionals living in my building and safety has never been an issue. There is NO PARKING available on the property. Street parking is $1 per hour from 8AM – 6PM and free overnight and on Sundays & Holidays. (4 hours max. and watch out for time & street sweeping restriction signs) There are also some private surface parking lots around the building for longer term parking.

Lucky D's Hostel is a top San Diego hostel, and it is a guaranteed good time. When is the last time somebody promised you that? Lucky D's is fun, comfortable, clean and safe. • Michelle's place us great for location and value. Provided with bagels with spreads, oranges, apples and coffee in the morning. The kitchen is complete so you can bring and make your own food. Checkin was seamless. I thought given that this is a dorm that it might get noisy at night. To my surprise, nights were quiet and I slept well. Location is great, right downtown. I would recommend this place for the budget traveller who isn't concerned with the pretty factor. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Henry2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Clean hostel in a great location. Check in was super easy, although sometimes the keycards can be a little wonky - no big deal. There’s an eclectic group of art throughout the hostel which is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to crash on a budget and don’t mind company or if you’re a solo traveler wanting to find likeminded folks.
