We enjoyed our stay at Lori's place very much. It was great to have a bathroom for each of the three bedrooms as we were in town for a wedding and had several events to get ready for. The coffee was great in the morning and we enjoyed our evening glass of wine out on the deck. Lori responded quickly when we had questions. One thing to note, Lori's pictures do not reflect her beautiful new kitchen and bathrooms. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this house! The house was incredibly clean and spacious. Suited all our needs for the week. Only negative I would add is the neighbors can sometimes be loud as it’s near an intersection and gas station. We would absolutely stay here again though!

Our recent stay at Michelle’s Airbnb in Leucadia, California, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Michelle has thought of every detail to make her guests feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that rivaled the coziness of our own home. The kitchen was a standout feature, fully stocked with everything needed to whip up almost any meal. From cookware to an impressive array of spices, we had all the tools to enjoy home-cooked dinners, which made our stay even more special. It’s rare to find such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation rental! The location is perfect for soaking in the local culture. Right on the beach, we loved taking daily walks to explore the vibrant Leucadia community. The highlight, though, was watching the sunset every evening from the living room or deck—pure magic! Had a great time at Lori’s place and she was a fantastic host and communicated well. The house was very clean and from the minute we got there it felt great to be in the house. Great location as well. We were able to access down town, Gaslamp and the zoo very easy. I would highly recommend staying at Lori’s place.

The perfect beach getaway for a small family! We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage, which had everything we needed—from beach toys and supplies to a fully stocked kitchen and a private patio perfect for evening BBQs. We loved being able to walk to the beach, park, and local restaurants. The home was thoughtfully set up for a cozy and comfortable family stay, with all the amenities we could ask for.

This was our first stay on the southern California coast and high up on cliffs overlooking the ocean - and it was all that we hoped for. The photos are excellent, providing a fine indication of the home and surroundings. The furniture was comfortable, both interior and exterior, and the king bed, pillows and sheets in the primary bedroom were delightful. As the photos show you are not literally on the beach but over it. The sunsets (we stayed in January) were divine. We spent much time gazing at the sublime views of the endless ocean. It is a long walk or rather climb down to the beach, at about 100 or so steps once you get to the access stairs, but it was great exercise climbing up. During low tide the beach was walkable and fun, but during high tide you would have to walk on a stone beach. The neighborhood was interesting to walk and the pickleball courts in great condition. The location is very convenient. Thanks to Stephanie our host for great communication and support.

This townhome in north park is great! My husband and I were moving from out of state and came to look at apartments in the area. This townhome was such a perfect location for walking around north park, university heights, and hillcrest. The space was very clean and comfortable and it was a great place to relax after long days of looking at apartments

Glen was a wonderful host for our trip to Mission Beach. He was flexible, responsive, and gave great recommendations. You can tell he truly loves the neighborhood because he was able to rattle off all kinds of places to eat, shop and rent beach equipment from. Would definitely return to this property for a future visit.

This location was great close to the convention center and other main attractions in the downtown area. Would definitely book again.

Stunning setting - roomy, modern, quiet condo located on Solana Beach with private beach access, two pools, hot tub and tennis courts. Condo included beach chairs, towels, sand toys etc. Easy walking distance to Cedros Design District, shops, restaurants etc. Also a short drive to check out surrounding coastal towns. A great find!

Dave’s place is amazing!! Incredible location right at the beach, walkable to the sand and restaurants, even a beach park for kids. Dave is an incredible host, so friendly and helpful, always available and responsive. We felt right at home in his place and were so thankful to be there. The home is beautifully decorated, and has all the beach gear and toys you would need. We cooked and enjoyed sunsets there. The pool and hot tub are great too! We’d definitely stay again!

Exceptional Stay – Above and Beyond for Family Comfort My family had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb hosted by Soothing Stays. From the start, our host was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. What truly stood out was their extra effort in making our stay safe and comfortable for our family—especially our toddler grandson. They went out of their way to install toddler gates throughout the property before our arrival, which gave us such peace of mind. It’s rare to find a host who not only listens to guest needs but takes real action to meet them. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The thoughtful touches, clear communication, and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with young children—or anyone who appreciates a host that truly cares. We would absolutely stay here again. Great stay in sunny Oceanside California so much to do around the area we thought we would have to make the trek to San Diego to find good night life. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that was not the case. So many good walkable restaurants bars and nightlife. Completely stocked convenience store 7 min walk from the location. Beach was quite literally a block from the home. With great views of the ocean from the TWO balconies. The downtown area had so many great coffee shops and quaint shops. Also the place was immaculately clean. Very pleasant no odd smells. Awesome beach chairs and towels and a convenient rolling cooler. Even though you were so close to everything you still felt comfortable/peaceful and far enough that there’s no noise at all at night. Can’t say enough good about this place!

It was a very cozy townhouse. The place was decorated very nicely and everything was clean. Maybe I missed it in the description, but I would have listed that the main bedroom suite was on the 3rd floor and the other 2 were on the second floor with all having winding stairwells. If you're looking for convenience, it was located within walking of the Pacific ocean side where there are many restaurants and shopping and just a few blocks from Mission Bay beaches. However, if you're looking for that ocean view or just a great view in general, this is not the place. It was a very quiet street. The host always kept me informed of entry and leaving. I would recommend.

The Mermaid Lounge was a perfect stay in Mission Beach. Location is extremely walkable and having a dedicated parking spot is so convenient. Harvey supplies beach chairs and towels which made for easy beach days! We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Monica's service is wonderful and her kindness too. The accommodation is very nice, tidy, super clean and the decor is beautiful, it has many very nice details.

Mission Beach was a great destination for a long weekend, and the home was perfect. The owners were very responsive, offering lots of good local recommendations and communicating with us during our stay to ensure we had a great weekend.

A few friends and I stayed at the place for two nights. The Airbnb was wonderful, had everything we needed and even had a very nice backyard where we spent most of our time hanging out. Very walkable location, with even a coffee shop next door, great restaurants, breweries, and shops nearby. About a 10 min walk from downtown OB. Would highly recommend!
