Yurt vacation rentals in River Thames

We didn’t see Hugo but was greeted by one of his colleagues. He was super friendly, informative about the local amenities, and walks,etc. It was peaceful, private and I’d definitely go again. The only thing that let us down a bit was the British weather!

I loved staying at Haddon Acre - the yurt is set in beautiful surroundings with Wittenham Clumps a short walk away - really lovely to walk there for sunrise and sunset! Remote enough to have a break from the outside world, but close enough to all amenities and travel links to drive to Cotswold's & the Chilterns. Sue was kind enough to bake a cake & provide other breakfast items upon arrival, which I thought was a really nice touch! Haddon Acre will remain as one of my special stays - lovely relaxing energy around the landscape.

We visited during the weekend to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed. Really enjoyed just relaxing after the mayhem of the festival. The yurt itself is lovely, quaint and liveable for a weekend or longer should one choose. We were provided with logs for a fire in the stove and to light them outside. There's an on site facility to purchase bare essentials but there's also a shop nearby to purchase anything else. Would love to visit and stay again. Thanks

We spent 2 nights staying at Chris's beautiful Yurt. Chris welcomed us and made us feel right at home. It's such a beautiful, idyllic location and Chris supplied everything necessary (including marshmallows) to have an enjoyable, stress-free stay. Would highly recommended and will visit again.

Very beautiful yurt, we were able to keep warm and cozy despite the cold weather thanks to the wood stove and heater. Nice location for walks and a trip to Hastings.

We had a great time in Owl yurt! Brilliant for kids. The beds were comfortable and toilets clean. Loved the fairy lights in the yurt, it felt very cosy!

Myself, my husband and our two young boys had the most fabulous 2 night stay in the ‘oak’ yurt. The most beautiful surroundings. The boys loved exploring bluebell woods. Yurt was comfy and cosy, did get pretty chilly at night (we stayed early April) but soon got toasty with the help of the wood burner. Lovely walk in shower and clean toilet right next to the yurt. Was just perfect sitting out at night by the firepit toasting marshmallows and star-gazing. Would most definitely recommend, 5 🌟

Fantastic yurt in the heart of the countryside. If you want peace and tranquility then this is the place for you. Everything you need. Wonderful sleep. Wonderful stay.

We had the most awesome stay. Lovely, unique, clean, quiet and private, surrounded by nature, enclosed by a grade ii listed wall. The yurt is special - inside you feel you are transported in a different era. My 7 year old had a blast, running in the field, playing games provided. Plus sussex u Is beautiful, we visited Midhurst and Petworth which are close by. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights. Carl was super friendly and helpful, the yurt itself is beautiful and everything was thought of, welcome treats, robes and slippers, face masks, the kitchen had everything you needed, radiator for the chilly nights and a little tv which helped get the kids asleep whilst watching a movie. Really helpful that you are able to buy logs etc whilst you are there. I felt it was very safe for the kids to run around, they had the best time. Loved the hot tub, this really made it for us. We really had the best time and can’t wait to book to come again, have already recommended to friends and family. Very welcoming host. Louisa communicated challenges with the original site early on and enabled a pre visit to the new location which was very welcome. We had the whole site for the weekend and Louisa and Bev looked after us really well. Especially as one of our vehicles got stuck in the access lane and needed assistance - thank you for your kindness. The site was well laid out with good spacing between the pods and the showers, toilets and washing up area were discreetly placed - and with lovely hot water. I would thoroughly recommend.

I can not praise Kim and Andre and this BEAUTIFUL set up they have highly enough!! The Yurts are spacious, cosy, and well thought about. The photos and description are true to what you get. There is also an outdoor toilet directly outside (Genoa anyway) the yurt for desperate midnight visits. The get together BBQ area is very cute, and the harbour is STUNNING. Lovely and quiet in the evenings. Kim and Andre are so welcoming and gave us great recommendations to eat and drink (best steak of my life at JJs). If you want a chilled weekend to marvel at the beauty of the simple things and be in a super comfy bed by midnight, then it doesn't get better than this. Thank you so much for having us and sharing this beautiful place with us!

the Yurt was excellent. the log burner kept it toasty warm even with temperatures dropping to 1 overnight.

I had a gorgeous restful two night stay at Emma and Jim's yurt. Emma met me as I arrived and was very friendly and took time to show me how everything worked so I could then just settle in. The yurt was sumptuously and beautifully furnished and decorated and perfectly thought through with practical yet elegant details. Loved the nifty washing up area attached to the little bathroom, the little fridge and two ring hob were perfect, the bed and sofa bed super comfortable and there were torches, hot water bottles and beautiful wood for the cosy woodburner. Travelling on my own I appreciated being able to lock the beautiful wooden door so felt quite safe. I loved sitting outside the yurt watching a red kite soar over or the stars come out across the wide open sky and there were lovely walks along the canal and to the reservoirs nearby with even more birdlife. I would have happily stayed longer. Thank you Emma and Jim

I booked the yurt for my husband and 4 year old to stay in. They had the most fantastic time! They were met by the hosts and told my very excited son about the wildlife and woods they could go in. My son loved running around the field finding sticks and he saw a frog which made him not want to come home! Both Emma and Vidar very friendly and responsive over messages giving directions and coordinates and answering any questions we had. The yurt was beautiful very cozy with an outdoor fire for them to toast marshmallows before bed. The kitchen had everything they needed to make drinks and dinner. We are looking to book again next year for us all. Thanks so much again for making their trip fantastic.

Went for a short 2 day break and loved it! Yurt was a good size, everything had been thought of to make this a true glamping break. Loved the little touches, really made it special!

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Dairy Farm Glamping. The yurt was immaculate with everything we needed. The en-suite bathroom was an extra win. Definitely camping in style! The beds were warm and comfy and my daughters loved their stretcher beds too. It wasn’t cold enough to use the wood burner inside but we loved the fire pit and outdoor gas hob and little Weber bbq. The skies even cleared so we could do some star gazing! Debbie is very helpful and responsive and quick to answer any questions. All in all a fab little getaway.

Beautiful location and accommodation, had all the features we were looking for and we loved having our log burner to keep us warm and hearing the horses in the morning. A bird of prey flew over our heads as we were eating our breakfast! Really eco-focused facilities, and very comfortable yurt and Shepherd’s hut. Owners resolved anything that came up during our stay.

Andre and Kim were incredibly welcoming and informative. We were visiting Emsworth as we were going to Victorius festival in Portmouth. Andre gave us a lift to the station which wasn't expected at all but incredibly helpful! lovely yurt, very quiet and peaceful. would stay again!

Debbie was a wonderful, hospitable and proactively responsive host throughout our stay. She and her small team took pains to make sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. The yurt was amazing, with lots of lovely touches adding to the cosy and luxurious feel. And we were very glad we'd treated ourselves to the hot tub, which was amazing! Altogether highly recommended for those who prefer to glamp rather than camp!

Easy five stars for adventurous people! A wood stove burning in a cozy yurt, who needs more? Beautiful views from the table outside. Be aware that the showers are awesome but they're across the other side of the field. We had a beautiful day and the entire field to ourselves (in April) so the morning walk to the shower in pijamas was a big plus!
