Waterfront vacation rentals in River Thames

Stella has a fantastic two bed apartment here with wonderful views out to the water. Everything is within walking distance whether that be shops, pubs or just a nice stroll along the coastline! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Kent and get the best of both worlds being so close to the station and city but also being on the doorstep of so much greenery and countryside. Stella was fantastic as was her assistant Natasha.

The place was much cleaner than other places we’ve stayed. Had all the amenities we needed and for a change had decent cutlery and cooking knives which was nice. Scot stayed in touch during the entire stay as well and the scenery was beautiful especially during the evenings on the balcony.

I had a fantastic stay at Fleur’s flat in St. Neots. It is in the perfect location. It is in the heart of the town, less than a minute's walk to Market Square. You can walk to everything… restaurants, shops, cafes, park, marina, train station, etc.. The apartment was as described, and the photos were accurate. It was very clean. Clean linens and towels were provided. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. The common space might be tight if you have 4 people, but not an issue. Check-in and check-out were very simple. I was given good instructions and the keys were left in a convenient lockbox. Communication with Fleur was very efficient. This was only my fourth experience using Airbnb, but I would say by far my best experience. I highly recommend this space if you want to be in St. Neots. I hope to stay here again someday. We all really loved our stay here. Fantastic views from the apartment and great place to explore London from. The place was super clean and appreciated the top quality linen and towels. Kitchen was great too, with a handy coffee machine. Small grocery stores nearby were rather handy. Tip: found a Thames pedestrian tunnel 1km south so was awesome to explore Greenwich Observatory and Cutty Sark across the river.

The apartment is sunny and spacious with a great view of the Thames. The garage was useful to securely keep our car and local transport links were good to use during our stay.

We stayed for 6 days in mid-August and it was such a great location and experience for us. Coming up to the day of arrival, Laura was in contact in relation to recommendations for places to see and things to do on site, advice on getting over to the island, where the local shops were etc. The apartment was really quiet and the place was well cared for. When we checked in there was everything there we needed. The fridge was empty and clean, as was the freezer. Everything you would expect for the kitchen was there. You do need to supply your own washing powder, but that was ok. Check out was just as easy and while it was early (10am) there are plenty of ferries running at that time to get you back to the mainland.

A great apartment within a few mins walk of all the shops and restaurants of Cowes. Very clean, spacious and a great view of the marina. Would definitely stay again

Spacious and cosy apartment in a safe neighbourhood with great view over the Thames. Perfect for a family of 5. The kids loved it. The O2 underground and the Uber boat pier are only a 10 minutes walk away. Would definitely book it again if staying in London.

Four members of my family stayed here over Christmas as our own house was full. They loved it. 'Brilliant. Great. Five stars,' was one response. Although it is a typical Oxford cottage and looks small from the outside, it is suprisingly spacious inside. Aside from the comfort , my family enjoyed the personal feel of the house, the selection of books, the charming garden, the location by the river and the thoughtful provision of a vegan breakfast. Everything worked well. We will definitely book it again.

Princy's property was a perfect place to stay for us. It was spacious, modern and beautifully clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We particularly liked the lay out of the bedrooms as it suited our family of 2 grandparents, our daughter and son-law and their 3 boys . We loved the openness of the house, the conservatory and being able to walk straight out onto the beach. Absolutely lovely watching the windsurfers and at night to look out and see the night sky full of stars. We were very fortunate to choose a weekend when we had wall to wall sunshine. Be aware that the house is on a private road that is not tarmacked. We would love to go back sometime as we loved every minute of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the Jungle Crazy Golf at Chichester Golf Club, which also has escape rooms. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place.

I'd like to say from start to finish Thi communicated really well, the house was lovely and everyone that stayed with us said the same in that it felt homely and had everything thing that we could ask for, a home away from home. It was right next to the canal in Chichester with very easy access to the main town with plenty of shops tk visit. We wouldn't hesitate in booking Thi's home again. Plus the treats were very welcome, especially for our niece who stayed with us.

We had a lovely stay here. Really high quality acommodation. Beautifully clean, very comfortable and a lovely setting. Some great walks nearby too. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay with 6 adults and 2 infants. Great set up for kids and very nice main room and decking area. Hot tub, BBQ, kayak and right next to a lovely lake. What more do you want!? Only slight draw back is you can hear the road but didn't bother us at all.

Great place to stay, accommodation exactly as described. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Good location, just a minute's walk from the Rising Sun pub and the coastal path. Would definitely stay there again.

Four friends and I have returned from a lovely stay at Riverside. Cajsa was a fabulous host and was easily contactable. The property is beautiful, and the setting is perfect. We lucked out with the weather, and were able to have coffee on the balcony and sit out on the terrace all three days. Being by the river we did start to see the beginning of the mosquitoes, thankfully it didn't affect us really, but I'd recommend bringing some citronella candles/spray if coming throughout the summer months. Rye is a short drive away and we were able to easily arrange taxi's back and forth. All in all, a lovely stay and we'd love to return!

Wow! it's the easiest way to describe our whole stay. The apartment was fantastic, from the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. A place to unwind and relax. Everything is placed in such a lovely way that it feels like you put it there yourself it genuinely felt like our own home. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being able to sit there and drink a coffee looking out over the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again for another get away!! Wow! Where to even start! This was my first time using air BnB and Ted has made it an amazing experience. Ted was super helpful from start to finish. I struggled with the booking system, no worries for Ted! He asked me to request the dates again and we booked straightaway. He was quick to reply and came across friendly and professional. When we arrived at the property, thanks to the guide we had received from Ted, getting into the property was a breeze and the location was easy to follow. Thanks for the annotations and pictures! Now onto the main event, the property. The flat was exactly as described and pictured and wow, that view off of the balcony overlooking the docks really is something else! The flat was very clean and tidy, had basic amnesties available as well as tea, coffee, milk portions in the fridge etc. The bedrooms were well stocked with towels and plenty of hangers as well as soap etc. The stay/flat was really wonderful and Ted even more so. We absolutely loved our Easter stay at the old alarm. Jules was a fabulous host, providing lots of helpful info prior to arriving. The flat is situated right in the heart of Lymington Quay.. it’s beautifully presented with all the amenities you will need. Jules provided a lovely welcome basket and even Easter eggs for the children, which was very thoughtful. The parking permit came in really handy when exploring the New Forest. We love this part of the country and will definitely stay again when back in the area.Thank you for a wonderful stay! Recommend The Kings Head a couple of doors Down - the atmosphere and food was great.
