Vacation rentals with a fire pit in River Dart

Wonderful place! Loved the small touches such as milk in the fridge and filtered water. It had everything you could possibly want. So glad we found this place. Very close to the town with restaurants/shops etc. Also close to the train station. Would highly recommend!!

Brilliant house with stunning views and great amenities. Host was always quick to respond and very helpful with plenty of recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend for any large groups or families looking for a long weekend away to switch off.

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is excellent for exploring some beautiful nearby beaches and towns. The accommodation was perfect for two of us and our dog - it’s very spacious, well equipped, clean and warm. The hosts communication was great throughout and they make staying here easy. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a wonderful last minute 4 night Easter break at Monty's. Everything was perfect. Maria was a great host with lots of information on how to get in and great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Monty's was spotlessly clean and well equipped as well as being very quiet. It's a great location for wonderful walks and not far to visit the beautiful beaches around this area along with Salcombe and Dartmouth. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

The farm was in a beautiful setting, with gorgeous views. It was peaceful and spacious for our large family get together. Salcombe and the surrounding area is very lovely, with some challenging roads, but thats Devon! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and private. The kitchen was excellent and very well equipped and Freya was helpful and friendly from the start and super responsive when we had a minor query. We loved our stay, would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We had a lovely weekend at Little Trevio! The property is immaculate and the view is amazing. Emily was an excellent host who made sure everything was perfect, adding some lovely touches for my partners birthday. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Josie’s place is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location within Dartmoor National Park. It was the perfect one-night stop for us on our way to St Ives. There are some charming pubs within walking distance from the property. Josie was very friendly and responsive throughout our communication.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

Absolutely phenomenal lodge set in a beautiful and serene environment. Quite literally the perfect getaway for some R&R. Jamie and Phil were fantastic hosts - both very welcoming, personable and responsive to any queries. Would recommend without a second thought.

I had such a friendly welcome from Rachel, with everything that I needed set up and ready to go. And even though the pod felt very private, and away from it all, I also felt very safe, especially as I was alone. Incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a break away from the real world.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wootten Deer Park and Safari Lodges. The lodge was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a comfortable family break. The setting is what really makes it – peaceful, scenic and with the most incredible views of the deer, which made it feel really special. Kylie was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful and clearly cares a lot about making sure guests have a great experience. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already thinking about when we can come back.

Amazing stay, was so peaceful, perfect location to visit lyford gorge and Dartmoor national park ! The hot tub as the Perfect wind down for the evening & the fire over the views outside was amazing late evening. Hosts are friendly & great community on site! Also waking up in the morning hearing the birds was the icing on the cake and thank you for our gifts on arrival, it was very much needed after a 4 hour drive. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Lovely peaceful and private location! We had a great short break . Plenty of things to do nearby. Cabin was clean, warm and homely.
