Chalet vacation rentals in River Dart

All my family loved the experience we were overwhelmed by the beautiful sea views we simply enjoyed every moment of our holiday breathtaking views combined with very friendly and safe environment gives us really special and comfortable time to spend with our two toddlers age 4 and 6 , we will definitely recommend Maggie’s place to everyone who is looking for unforgettable views my son already missing the place 🙂 , we will definitely come back in future

Such a beautiful place to stay and Sheldon is a lovely village. The beach hut is really cute and well provided for given the small space. It was a bit chilly when we first arrived but the under floor heating soon kicked in. We had everything we needed and so convenient. Only negative was the back of the tv needed a bit of a dust!!! Oh and the seagulls are quite intimidating!!! Could have stayed all week x

My partner and I loved it THAT much, we are STILL there! We requested to extend our stay and despite having to move some bookings around, Alan and Lynne managed to make it possible for us! I had 3 nights of blissful sleep thanks to their fabulous pillows and now I get 3 more! 😁

We had a really lovely stay at Alison’s Lodge. From the moment we walked in we felt at home, the place was spotless and immaculate, and the view stunning! The lodge kitchen was very well equipped, there were plenty of towels for the four of us, it was well heated and excellent for our needs. There was a big car park just past the Reception building, then we used a trolley provided to take our bags to the lodge. The only negative was that the WiFi didn’t work, so we used our data mostly, if we needed to access something on our phones. Other than that we can absolutely recommend this stay!

Easy check-in. Chalet had everything you’d need for your stay. Richard provided detailed instructions including a reminder for taking £1 coins for the electricity metre. Electric heaters provided to warm you up if needed. Clean property with clear instructions on what to do with towels & bedding at the end of your stay. Sainsbury’s just around the corner with beautiful Dartmouth a short trip down the road. Beautiful countryside & Norton Park was very peaceful.

Absolutely stunning lodge, very spacious with lovely views of the ocean. Very comfortable and homely feel. Hot tub was private and very clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. Thank you Lorraine

Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Chalet had everything we could have needed and more. Easy to access and very clear instructions on how to get to the property. Surrounding areas absolutely stunning and so peaceful and quiet. Cafe provided nice selection of food and drinks. Would recommend The Fisherman’s arms if you venture into Plymouth. Heather, as a host, was very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our last minute booking.

Rock hollow is a lovely little place to stay on Tregonhawk cliff and a lot easier to get to than some . A very well laid out chalet be it summer or winter . I think we may well go back next Xmas . walk the beach , light the log burner and look out to sea 😊 .

Subject: Fantastic Family Getaway at Chalet 56! We had a wonderful stay at Chalet 56 in Thomas Bovisand Park! The chalet was absolutely perfect for our little family of three. The location is brilliant, with easy access to the stunning Bovisand Beach. We spent hours exploring the coastline and our son especially loved playing in the sand. The park itself is peaceful and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The chalet itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for a self-catering stay, including a functional kitchen and comfortable living space. We particularly appreciated the lovely sea views from the living room window . It truly felt like a home away from home. Communication with the host was excellent. They were prompt, friendly, and provided all the necessary information. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable holiday at Chalet 56. It's a great option for families looking for a relaxing seaside break in a beautiful location.

Simply amazing! The view is like no other. The house is clean and spacious, very well thought through. We felt at home and would love to return. Joanne and David are welcoming hosts who greeted us and showed us around. Thank you for our wonderful first stay in Cornwall! We fell in love.

The cabin was a bit cold when we arrived plus it was raining. We put the fire on and both the oil heater which made it warm and cosy. The sunset was awesome,as was the sunrise. Very steep stairs to the beach but very worth doing it as the beach walk was lovely. A bit of a hard walk going back up. It’s a very special place to stay and we loved it.

What a fabulous stay we had! The most stunning view over the sea and the very best chalet we have stayed in, top quality:big comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels in abundance, great crockery and glassware and such a well designed layout of the rooms. Why doesn’t every chalet have a kitchen window and sitting room overlooking the sea! We’ve stayed in many of the properties in Bovisand over the years but this was by far the best! We bumped into Mike in the village and such a charming, friendly host. I cannot recommend this stay too highly. Thank you Mike!
